When He Wenyin and the others saw her return, they all happily gathered around her.

“Dr. Li, are you coming back to work?” He Wenyin asked, looking excited.

Ji Jun adjusted his glasses and analyzed, “I don’t think that’s the case. If Dr. Li were really coming back to work, she wouldn’t have come back at this hour. So, she must be here to visit us, right?”

Zhang Xinsheng ignored Ji Jun’s analysis and walked up to his older sister with a happy face. “Sis, it’s been a while since you’ve come here, but you haven’t even gone home. Mom and Dad have been asking about you. Where have you been?”

Li Yiyi immediately apologized, “Sorry, it’s my fault. I’ve been a little busy, but things should ease up in the next few days. I’ll go home then.”

“That’s great! If Mom and Dad know you’re coming back, they’ll be so happy!” Zhang Xinsheng said excitedly.

Li Yiyi smiled, then turned to them and asked, “I heard a person from R Country was brought to our hospital today. Do you know what floor they’re on?”

As soon as she finished speaking, all three of them looked at her in unison.

“Sis, you’re so well-informed. We only heard about it when we were leaving work, and you knew before we did!” Zhang Xinsheng said, looking at her with admiration.

Li Yiyi smiled and waved her hand. “It’s fine. Even though I’m not working here anymore, I’m still up to date with the news.”

“Alright, enough with the small talk. Do you know which room that person is in?” she interrupted her younger brother’s flattery and continued to ask.

“We know! We heard they were assigned to a VIP floor, but we don’t know exactly which room,” He Wenyin said, looking excited.

Li Yiyi thought for a moment, and given Tanaka Ichiro’s status, he would indeed be placed in such a room.

“Sis, do you know that person from R Country?” Zhang Xinsheng, knowing his sister’s disdain for R Country, found it strange that she was asking about one of their people.

“Well, I know him. I have a grudge against him, and now that he’s in such a big mess, I think I should go give him some encouragement,” she said, her smile mischievous.

The people in the room were all members of the research institute he supported. They had come to visit him now that their big boss was in trouble.

“Wow, it’s so lively in here. I hope I’m not interrupting anything,” Li Yiyi said with a mischievous smile as she walked in and waved at Tanaka Ichiro, who was lying in bed.
