Chapter 1
So hot. Burning.
In her dream, a searing heat and overwhelming stimulation — something she had never experienced before — was nearly melting her entire body.
Such a strange feeling. So painful!
How can it hurt this much?!
Bai Jiaojiao’s eyes flew open and met an unfamiliar man’s face — cold and ruggedly handsome, as if his features had been perfectly modeled. Sweat from his forehead dripped down the bridge of his nose and landed on her lips.
His eyes darkened, desire flashing like a beast’s. He leaned down and kissed her. His deep, hoarse voice was magnetic — yet full of killing intent and icy disdain.
“Bai Jiaojiao, I’ll never let you go!”
A sharp pain stung her lips. He kissed her fiercely, as if he wanted to devour her whole.
Bai Jiaojiao finally snapped back to her senses. In a panic, she struggled and reached out — grabbing something and smashing it against the man’s head.
The man, who had moments ago been like a feral wolf, collapsed on top of her, blood pouring from his head.
Trembling, Bai Jiaojiao looked down at her own naked body, the unfamiliar surroundings, and couldn’t help but burst into tears.
Where was she?! She had been sleeping soundly at home — how had she ended up in a place like this?
The room was shabby, like a run-down city slum, with an antique television and outdated furniture.
Suddenly, a piercing pain shot through her head. A rush of unfamiliar memories flooded in.
She had transmigrated into a dog-blood 1v1 erotica novel called “Domineering Love in the 1970s.”
But the “1v1” was for the male and female leads. She had taken the role of the infamous villainess Bai Jiaojiao — the woman with the most chaotic love life and the most extreme plotlines in the entire book.
In the original story, the heroine was an inspirational, pure-hearted real heiress. Bai Jiaojiao was the fake heiress, who caused endless trouble under the guise of wealth. When the Bai family discovered she wasn’t their real daughter, they kicked her out without hesitation.
Her husband, Xiao Zhou, was the biggest villain of the book. Outsiders called him the “Most Cuckolded Man.” Born into poverty, he worked hard to enter the military and became the captain of the top Air Force flight squad. His future was bright.
But at his peak, he was tricked by the scheming Bai Jiaojiao, who made it seem like they had slept together — forcing him to marry her.
After marriage, Xiao Zhou handed over most of his salary each month, cooked and cleaned at home, and was the model husband — but never touched her and refused to bring her to live in the military compound.
This time, Xiao Zhou returned home for New Year and suddenly proposed a divorce. Bai Jiaojiao refused and even drugged him, forcing their first time together. Xiao Zhou left for the military the next day.
Tragically, while he was gone, his parents and younger sister waiting back in the village had an accident, leaving him an orphan.
Xiao Zhou grew to hate Bai Jiaojiao even more and became determined to divorce her.
But Bai Jiaojiao, having tasted physical pleasure, began flirting with many men in the village. Later, she even ran to the military compound to seduce Xiao Zhou again, and worse — tried to seduce his comrades.
Xiao Zhou didn’t fall for her, but one of his comrades did. Once Xiao Zhou found out, he dealt with all the men involved.
As for Bai Jiaojiao, he chained her up like a dog, broke her tendons, fed her scraps, and force-fed her aphrodisiacs — watching from the side. Later, he whipped her at the slightest offense. On his worst days, he brought in wild animals…
One day, the male lead passed by and noticed Bai Jiaojiao’s cries for help. He rescued her — barely. But she hadn’t learned her lesson and tried to seduce the righteous male lead.
She failed. At the critical moment, Xiao Zhou broke in, saw her in a degrading state, and stabbed her to death. He was imprisoned.
Afterward, the female lead — feeling sympathy — helped reduce Xiao Zhou’s sentence. After release, he entered the business world, quickly amassing wealth through shady means.
He became obsessed with the woman who saved him — the heroine — seeing her as a ray of light. He locked her in a dark room. But when she rejected him for the male lead, Xiao Zhou killed everyone and escaped in a stolen plane to an unknown place.
Bai Jiaojiao broke into a cold sweat.
This book was written by a frenemy — a plastic bestie who was jealous that a boy she liked preferred Bai Jiaojiao. Out of spite, she wrote this twisted, explicit story with a villainess of the same name.
The writing was good. The plot was intense. The leads had depth. The villain was terrifying. But Bai Jiaojiao — the villainess — was shallow, only existing to chase men and be humiliated.
Still, did she really have to be the one to live through it now?
She looked down at the unconscious, blood-covered man on the bed — and the shattered vase on the floor. There were some deviations from the novel, but not too much. In the story, they were about to divorce anyway. Maybe she could just go through with it?
Surely the vengeful villain wouldn’t mind being lightly bonked on the head…
While she was panicking, the man on the bed slowly opened his eyes.
Suddenly, she met a pair of piercing, dangerous eyes — cold and predatory like the night. A shiver ran down her spine.
That look… if this were a battlefield, she’d be dead in the next second.
Her eyes reddened, but she fought back the urge to cry. Her last shred of dignity.
Xiao Zhou sat up, scanning the room like a hawk. His sharp gaze finally locked on her face.
“Who are you?”
His voice was hoarse but rich. Less aggressive than before — yet still full of pressure, making it impossible to focus on how nice it sounded.
Bai Jiaojiao panicked, her tears flowing.
“I—I’m Bai Jiaojiao. You knew my name just now…”
Xiao Zhou froze for a moment, as if he’d never seen a woman cry like this before. Clumsily, he raised his hand to wipe her tears.
She flinched and backed away.
It’s over. The villain’s going to kill her!
All she did was hit him once — was that so unforgivable?!
Xiao Zhou seemed to sense her fear. He stopped moving. The coldness in his eyes shifted to confusion. After a long silence, he said slowly:
“Sorry. I don’t know who I am.”
Bai Jiaojiao was stunned.
The villain just… apologized?!
Wait — more importantly…
“You lost your memory?”
Xiao Zhou seemed reluctant to admit it, but after probing his blank mind, he gave a stiff nod.
Bai Jiaojiao glanced at the still-bleeding wound on his head and had mixed feelings.
Did… did she cause his amnesia?
“Bai Jiaojiao… who am I?”
He remembered her name from earlier.
She bit her lip and answered quietly, “You’re called Xiao Zhou.”
That was all she said. She couldn’t bring herself to explain more. Honestly, she hadn’t even fully processed the situation herself.
Xiao Zhou glanced down at their bare bodies and the clothes scattered on the floor.
He didn’t need to guess what happened.
His sharp eyes turned to her. “What is our relationship?”
She bit her lip. How should she explain?
Should she say they were a married couple on the verge of divorce? But they’d obviously just slept together — Xiao Zhou would definitely figure it out. And if he suspected her of manipulating him, he might kill her.
Should she lie and say they were lovers? But what if he regained his memory?
As she hesitated, Xiao Zhou frowned. “Are we… lovers?”
“Huh?”
She blinked in confusion.
How did he come to that conclusion?
“If we were properly married,” he said, “would you have to think so hard?”
At that moment, a knock came from the door. A neighbor’s concerned voice called out:
“Xiao Zhou, you and your wife okay? I heard a loud crash and then nothing for a while. Didn’t even turn the lights off — you two weren’t fighting, were you? Someone get hurt?”
Bai Jiaojiao looked at Xiao Zhou’s injured forehead and panicked.
The neighbor’s voice continued:
“Married couples should just live in peace, stop fussing about divorce all the time — we’ve all been through it.”
She shouted back, “Auntie, we’re fine! Just a little noisy. You can rest now!”
“Alright then, as long as you’re okay,” the auntie replied, finally relieved. Everyone knew Bai Jiaojiao was the weaker one in the marriage — she’d definitely be the one to suffer in a fight.
After the woman left, Bai Jiaojiao looked at Xiao Zhou cautiously — just in time to meet his gaze.
Predator eyes locked onto watery ones. She immediately pulled the blanket up over herself again.
“S-sorry. That head injury was from me hitting you…”
She yanked the covers over her head.
Wuwuwu, the villain’s going to kill her, isn’t he?
No — not just kill. With his twisted mind, it would definitely be… a long, terrifying, NSFW death.
