Chapter 107: Plundering the Su Family

Zhang Guilan was frantic, seeing that Su Yi kept pushing away the bowl of chicken soup.

She quickly urged, “This is specially made for you by your mother.  Our family has been losing things one after another these past few days, and you haven’t had a decent meal since you came back.  It’s been weighing on my heart.  If you don’t drink it, you’re not forgiving me.”

Su Yi found her words repulsive and could only pretend to be moved, “Fine, I’ll drink it.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she picked up the chicken soup and tilted her head back, taking a sip.

But she couldn’t swallow it.  The moment the chicken soup touched her lips, she tossed it into her space.

Even though she had the Spirit Spring, the things in this chicken soup wouldn’t have much effect on her anyway.

But she just couldn’t stand the thought of eating anything Zhang Guilan made.

Zhang Guilan and the others watched as Su Yi finished the entire bowl of soup.  They felt relieved.

“You all eat first, I’ll go get you more soup.”

Su Yi immediately stood up, “Mother, you’ve been busy for so long, you must be tired.  Sit down and eat, I’ll go get the soup.”

She then headed towards the kitchen.

Seeing that Su Yi had drunk the soup, Zhang Guilan wasn’t worried anymore.

She let her go.

As soon as Su Yi entered the kitchen, she immediately opened the cabinets and rummaged through them.  Sure enough, she found a package in the very back of the cabinet.

Su Yi sniffed it, and it smelled the same as the soup she had just tasted.

With a wave of her hand, she threw everything from the package into the pot of chicken soup.

She grabbed a spoon, stirred it evenly, and began to serve the chicken soup to everyone.

Zhang Guilan saw that Su Yi had returned safely and assumed that the effects of the medicine wouldn’t be so fast.

So, she confidently picked up her bowl and slurped the chicken soup with gusto.

As she drank, she also urged everyone else to drink.

It was rare for them to have meat, and the chicken soup smelled so fragrant that everyone greedily drank it down.

Perhaps Su Yi had put in a bit too much.

After they finished drinking, it wasn’t long before they all collapsed to the ground one after another.

Everyone in the room, except for Su Yi, fainted.

Su Yi lightly slapped the faces of a few people, seeing them sleeping as if they were dead.

Quickly, she threw Zhang Guilan and Su Xingfa onto their own beds, then tossed Su Sanhu to join them.

As for the two scoundrels Sun Dayou and Su Erqiang naturally shared a bed -.

Not only that, Su Yi even used her space to clean their clothes.

After dealing with this, Su Yi began to search the entire house.

Since she was leaving soon, there was no need to leave anything for these people.

Su Yi first went outside to collect the bicycles brought by the Su Family’s eldest son and Sun Dayou.

She also collected the firewood stored under the shed, farming tools like sickles and iron shovels, and everything else in the yard, storing them in her space.

After clearing out the yard, Su Yi went to the kitchen and stored all the pots, bowls, ladles, and various seasonings from the cabinets in her space as well.

She also took away the large water tank used for meals.

She collected the newly purchased large iron pot from the stove, which should fetch a good price.

After finishing with the kitchen, Su Yi moved to the living room and gathered the tables, chairs, benches, and even the unfinished evidence left on the tables.

Next, she went to Zhang Guilan’s bedroom and collected the clothes, quilts, and even the blankets on the beds from the wardrobe.

She also took the rice and noodles that Zhang Guilan had hidden away.

After clearing out the wardrobe, Su Yi discovered Su Xingfa’s hidden stash of money in a mouse hole, which she promptly confiscated.

She then went to Su Erqiang’s room and found his hidden money in the same manner.

As for Su Sanhu, a person who would stuff money into his mouth, Su Yi didn’t even need to think twice to know he didn’t have any hidden money.

After collecting the hidden money, Su Yi began to gather the clothes of the two men, as well as various small items they had purchased.

Excitedly, she also took the only blanket covering the two men on the bed.

Then suddenly she realized something and quickly closed her eyes.

She thought that if she didn’t get any sleep at all, she might freeze to death.

And then she wouldn’t be able to see the drama unfold the next day.

So, out of kindness, she picked two shabby cotton jackets from her space and threw them over the two men.

This way, they wouldn’t freeze to death and could huddle together for warmth.

After finishing all this, Su Yi was exhausted and sweating profusely.

She locked the door and went back to her room to sleep deeply.

Early the next morning, while still sound asleep, she heard a knocking on the door outside.

It turned out that the people from the Sun family noticed that Sun Dayou didn’t come home all night.

They knew something was amiss.

Hastily, they brought their family members and headed over, using the excuse of looking for Sun Dayou to go to Su’s house to “catch the adulterers”.

It was the morning of the thirtieth day of the lunar year.

Early in the morning, the village became lively, with every household preparing for the New Year’s Eve dinner.

However, as soon as they opened the door, they saw a group of unfamiliar people marching towards Su’s house with determination.

The onlookers were puzzled, “It’s the New Year, could something be wrong at the Su’s house again?”

Curious, they all followed suit to watch.

Qin Yunfeng’s mother  had cried all night at home. When she heard that someone was causing trouble at Su’s house, she quickly put on clothes and rushed out.

They say fortunes change.

When her family had trouble yesterday, Zhang Guilan was the loudest to laugh.

Today, when trouble came to the Su family, she couldn’t escape the consequences!

Just as everyone was speculating at the door, they saw Su Yi, with sleepy eyes, opening the door, “What are you all doing?”

The Sun family members were puzzled to see Su Yi, well-dressed, opening the door.

Without hesitation, they rushed straight to Su Yi’s room to find their son.

However, when they pushed the door open, the room was empty, and the bed was bare.

Unable to contain their concern, they turned to Su Yi and asked, “Where is my son?”

Su Yi sneered, “Your family is truly amusing. Why are you looking for your son in my room? What are you thinking?”

Realizing their mistake, they quickly changed their question, “Yesterday, Dayou said he was coming to your house for a drink, but he didn’t come home all night. His mother and I were worried sick.”

Su Yi coldly huffed, “You’ve come to the wrong place. I wasn’t here when they were drinking yesterday; I went to bed early. If he didn’t go home, he’s probably at my second brother’s place.”

With that, Su Yi lifted her foot and opened Su Erqiang’s door.

Then she ran out, covering her face and screaming.

The crowd quickly asked what had happened.

Su Yi, almost in tears, said, “I couldn’t see clearly, but I saw something white on the bed, like a pig that had run out!”

Alarmed, everyone rushed into the room to see for themselves.

But it wasn’t a pig at all!

It was clearly two naked men tightly embracing each other.

And they were both men!

They had not a stitch of clothing on, only wearing two tattered cotton jackets.

Their arms and legs were intertwined, making it hard to distinguish them at first glance.

As the crowd stared, they couldn’t help but gasp in shock, “Isn’t this your son, and Su’s second son? The two of them, the two of them are—”

The scene was truly too shocking for the eyes.

After a brief moment of looking, everyone quickly averted their eyes.

Even the girls who had squeezed in to watch the excitement were promptly driven out.

Su Erqiang, still half-asleep, heard people whispering around him but couldn’t open his eyes.

Feeling a gust of wind, he shivered all over, thinking it was Su Sanhu coming back from peeing without closing the door.

Ready to give a good scolding, he tried to open his eyes but couldn’t. When he finally managed to look into his arms, he was instantly terrified and stunned.
