Chapter 111: Sweet in the Heart, Everything Tastes Sweet!

 Su Yi saw him come over early in the morning, his face serious as usual.

She couldn’t help but tease him.

“Did something happen last night?”

Zhou Jinchuan’s face instantly darkened, and he quickly pulled her hand, turning her palm over to face her, “You see for yourself.”

Su Yi couldn’t help but burst out laughing, “I haven’t even settled the score with you yet. Did I say that last night? I clearly said I wanted to try.”

Zhou Jinchuan saw that she remembered everything.

He only got halfway through his sentence when someone passed by in the corridor outside.

Su Yi was too embarrassed to continue teasing him, so she just shooed him away.

Su Yi got up to pour a glass of hot water, secretly adding a few drops of Lingquan water before handing it to him.

Su Yi smirked playfully, “Sweet, is it?”

“Yeah, sweet.”

Ye Xiaowu looked back and forth between the two for a while, then clicked his tongue, “Sweet in the heart, everything tastes sweet.”

Su Yi’s face immediately flushed red.

Zhou Jinchuan glanced at her, feeling a sweetness bubbling up in his heart.

After finishing breakfast, the group quickly packed up and prepared to get in the car to go back.

Su Yi also didn’t want to stay in this place any longer.

She put her things away and naturally sat in the passenger seat.

Ye Nuannuan glanced at her and said in a childish voice, “I want to sit with Sister Su.”

Zhou Jinchuan started the car and smiled, “It’s too crowded in the back, there’s no room.”

Ye Nuannuan insisted, “Then let brother sit in the front.”

Zhou Jinchuan turned his head to look at her, “No, brother is too young to sit in the passenger seat.”

Su Yi sat in the front, watching him seriously coax Ye Nuannuan, she couldn’t help but stifle a laugh.

Zhou Jinchuan then handed her a large bag of things, “This is food, you can eat it if you get hungry on the way.”

Su Yi wasn’t hungry, but seeing him offer it, she took it.

Unexpectedly, Ye Xiaowu protested, “Uncle, didn’t you say the other day that we shouldn’t eat in the car, because it smells too bad?”

Along the way, Su Yi chatted and laughed with the two children, and time flew by.

Just before noon, they reached Xishi, the provincial city where the army was stationed.

When the car reached the city, they drove to the same private restaurant where they had eaten before.

But seeing the osmanthus cake, she felt its fragrant aroma and couldn’t help but eat two more pieces.

After lunch, Su Yi took the initiative to suggest going to the market to buy groceries.

It was the first day of the month, and they probably wouldn’t find any vegetables to buy near the army base when they got back.

Then the salesperson smiled and looked at Su Yi, “Yes, yes, let your partner come over and pick one.”

Zhou Jinchuan also turned his head and waved to her.

Su Yi had no choice but to pull the two children forward.

As they approached, the salesperson noticed the two children beside Su Yi and apologized with a smile, “I thought you were his partner, I didn’t expect your wife to be so young, and your children are already so big!”

Su Yi smiled awkwardly, without explaining.

She just whispered to Zhou Jinchuan, “I have a watch, don’t buy one.”

Zhou Jinchuan knew that she had a watch given by Master Mo, but it was too expensive, and Su Yi had never worn it.

Besides, it was a gift from someone else, not something he bought.

So he pulled her hand and kept her there, “Come and try it on first.”
