In the morning, there were not many cars on the road. Zhou Jinchuan drove steadily and quickly. By the time they reached the main gate, they still had enough time to rush to school.
The two children quickly ate a few bites of breakfast in the car, went back to grab their school bags, and hurried off to school.
Su Yi looked at the car full of stuff in distress, so she picked out the things for Auntie Zheng and Auntie Yao first and sent them over.
Then she picked out the things requested by the hotel staff, and decided not to bother with the rest, planning to tidy up when she returned home in the evening!
Zhou Jinchuan took all the stuff back to the house and saw that she had finished packing. He suggested, “There’s a lot of stuff, I’ll take you to town.”

“And also, everyone has been working so hard recently, you can take turns to have a break, spend time with your family, and go out for a walk.”
Upon hearing that not only were there delicious snacks but also the opportunity for time off, everyone cheered happily.
Meanwhile, Zhou Jinchuan finished dropping off Su Yi and drove straight back to the military base.
As soon as he entered the office building, Xie Xiaojun hurried over to report, “Commander Zhou, there are two comrades surnamed Lin waiting for you in the office. They arrived early in the morning.”

Lin Haonan smiled, his lips pursed, “I came here specifically to surprise you. I didn’t expect you to be so lazy after coming to the Northwest. I remember you never slept late when you were a kid, and you were always the first one to do morning exercises at the military academy.”
Zhou Jinchuan also smiled, his lips pursed, “I got delayed by something this morning.”
The two men, of similar age, grew up together in the same compound, went to the military academy together, and were even in the same unit, so their relationship was incredibly close.
It was even longer than their relationship with Lu Changzheng.
While the two were talking, Lin Shuxue stood by, smiling and watching.
