Chapter 110: Unwillingness

“Good! Good! Good! It’s great! Hahaha…” Old Master Lu laughed heartily.

The wrinkles on his face were all squeezed together, and his eyes were almost squinted into a slit.

 When he saw Yaoyao at the noodle shop, he liked her at first sight.

He thought she was the perfect granddaughter-in-law for his family. He didn’t expect her to be his grandson’s girlfriend. What a coincidence!

Lu Qingyun looked at Old Master Lu suspiciously and couldn’t help but ask, “Grandpa… You know Yaoyao…”

Grandpa is happy for you.” He was so close to revealing that he was going to introduce Ling Yao to Qingyu.

Lu Qingyu glanced at Old Master Lu and then at Ling Yao. Could the girl Grandpa wanted to introduce to him be her?

Lu Qingyun looked at Old Master Lu with suspicion, “Grandpa… You were going to…”

“Nothing, what could it be? Yaoyao, if Qingyun ever bullies you, tell Grandpa. Grandpa will avenge you. I’m going now.

I won’t disturb you and Qingyun. Call Grandpa if you need anything.” After saying that, Old Master Lu winked at Lu Qingyu.

“Okay, Grandpa Lu. Take care!” Ling Yao wanted to see Old Master Lu off.

“No need. You take care of Qingyun. You’ve been very helpful here.” Old Master Lu looked at Ling Yao with satisfaction and smiled as he walked out of the ward with Lu Qingyu.

Ling Yao saw them off to the door of the ward, watched them leave, and then looked back and returned to the ward.

Lu Qingyun slowly raised a hand and held Ling Yao’s slightly cold hand. His gaze was fixed on her face, as if he wanted to melt her whole being into his eyes. “Yaoyao…”

 He was filled with joy and gratitude to be able to see Yaoyao again.

Ling Yao noticed a dried bloodstain on Lu Qingyun’s face, “I’ll go get you a basin of water and wash your face.”

Lu Qingyun gently shook his head, “Don’t leave…” Only by holding her hand and feeling her warmth could he truly feel at ease.

Only then would he believe that everything in front of him was real. His Yaoyao was right in front of him.

“Okay, I won’t leave. You sleep for a while. I’ll be here with you.” Ling Yao tucked the blanket around Lu Qingyun.

Ling Yao smiled helplessly and gently placed Lu Qingyun’s hand on her cheek, stroking it softly, “You can look as long as you want.”

The girl you wanted to introduce to me, couldn’t she be Big brother’s girlfriend?”

Old Master Lu glared at Lu Qingyu, “Don’t mention this again. You have to call Yaoyao ‘Sister-in-law’ when you see her, understand?”

 If his grandson knew that he almost introduced his girlfriend to someone else, he would be furious. Thankfully, thankfully.

“I understand, Grandpa. I’ll call her ‘Sister-in-law’ from now on.” Lu Qingyu nodded with a smile.

Before, whenever a girl got close to Big brother, he would break out in a rash. He thought Big brother would never find a girlfriend.

 Now that Big brother had a girl he liked, he was happy for him.

Ling Yao looked at Lu Qingyun’s sleeping face, and a wave of tenderness washed over her.

She carefully pulled her hand away, afraid of waking him.

But as soon as her hand left Lu Qingyun’s palm, he opened his eyes.

“Yaoyao…” Lu Qingyun murmured softly. His deep, pool-like eyes were filled with longing as he gazed at Ling Yao.

Ling Yao smiled helplessly and put her hand back into Lu Qingyun’s warm palm.

Lu Qingyun immediately smiled with satisfaction.

“Knock, knock, knock!” A sudden knock on the door broke the moment of warmth.

The door was then pushed open, and Ji Yuanming walked into the ward with several men in military uniforms.

When he saw Ling Yao in the ward, Ji Yuanming paused slightly, surprised, “Yaoyao, how come you’re here?”

“Big brother!” Ling Yao quickly withdrew her hand, stood up, and greeted Ji Yuanming.

Lu Qingyun glared at Ji Yuanming unhappily, “Yaoyao is my… girlfriend…”

“You said Yaoyao is your girlfriend?” Ji Yuanming’s eyes widened, his face full of disbelief.

He turned to look at Ling Yao, wanting to confirm from her whether this news was true.

Ling Yao nodded slightly, “Big brother, Lu Qingyun and I are dating.”

Hearing this, Ji Yuanming glared fiercely at Lu Qingyun, “If you weren’t injured, I would have beaten you up.”

He knew Lu Qingyun had a girlfriend, but he didn’t expect Lu Qingyun’s girlfriend to be his own sister.

The man standing behind Ji Yuanming reached out and gently patted Ji Yuanming’s shoulder, smiling,

Ji Yuanming glared at Lu Qingyun and didn’t say anything. He had finally gotten a sister and hadn’t even enjoyed being a brother yet.

 His sister was about to be taken away, how could he not be angry?

 When Lu Qingyun recovered, he would definitely beat him up and vent his anger.

Gu Qingan, standing at the back of the crowd, clenched his fists tightly.

He didn’t expect that Ling Yao was not only Ji Yuanming’s sister but also Lu Qingyun’s girlfriend.

Ling Yao felt a gaze on her and turned to look. Seeing that it was Gu Qingan, she frowned slightly. What bad luck!

Gu Qingan saw Ling Yao looking at him and gave her a smile that he thought was very charming.
