Lu Qingyun’s eldest aunt returned home with a furious expression.

She plopped down on the sofa and panted angrily.

After a moment, she picked up the phone and dialed a number.

The other end of the line answered quickly, and a deep, gentle voice came through, “Hello, who is this?”

“Hello, Mr. Xu! It’s Lu Hongyan. I heard that your Medical Association is recruiting new members, right?”

“Oh, it’s Mrs. Yang. Yes, we do have that plan.”

“I’m calling you about this. I saw that person today. She’s a quack!” Lu Qingyun’s eldest aunt said indignantly,

 “She just took one look at my face and started making a diagnosis.

She even prescribed me some medicine without even a production date! Isn’t that playing with a patient’s life?”

Mr. Xu frowned slightly. His tone became serious, “Is that true? That’s outrageous.

 Mrs. Yang, don’t worry! I’ll investigate this matter thoroughly. If it’s true, we will absolutely not allow such a person to join the Medical Association.”

“That’s good.” Lu Qingyun’s eldest aunt felt slightly relieved,

 “But I still hope that you will be strict in your recruitment process and not let irresponsible people in.

After all, doctors are an important profession related to the life and health of patients.

 If those who get in through back doors get in, it will damage the reputation of the Medical Association.”

“Mrs. Yang is right. Thank you for reminding me.”

After hanging up the phone, Lu Qingyun’s eldest aunt finally felt a little better.

Ling Yao stayed at the Lu family’s until dinner ended before taking her leave.

Walking into the bathroom, Lu Qingshuang took off her clothes. She was going to take a bath. Every time she had her period, she always felt sticky down there.

 If the medicine really had such a good effect, it wouldn’t be medicine, it would be a magic pill.

“Mom, I’m not lying to you. It really works. You’ll see once you take it.”

“Okay, Mom knows. Mom will take it. Go back to sleep.” Lu Qingyun’s mother smiled and gently pushed Lu Qingshuang. After she left, she gently closed the door.

Lu Qingyun’s father had just finished taking a shower. He picked up the medicine that Ling Yao gave him, opened it, and poured a pill into his mouth.

 Although he didn’t like taking medicine, it was a gesture of kindness from his future daughter-in-law, so he couldn’t refuse.

“Is it bitter?” Lu Qingyun’s mother couldn’t help but frown when she saw her husband taking the medicine. If it was bitter, she wouldn’t take it.

As soon as the medicine entered Lu Qingyun’s father’s mouth, it dissolved into liquid and flowed down his throat, leaving a hint of sweetness.

Hearing his wife’s question, Lu Qingyun’s father shook his head and smiled, “It’s sweet, and it melts in your mouth.”

“You’re not lying to me, are you?” Lu Qingyun’s mother didn’t believe it.

“You’ll see once you take it.” Lu Qingyun’s father smiled and picked up the medicine on the bedside table, handing it to his wife,

 “This is a gesture of kindness from our future daughter-in-law. Don’t let it go to waste.”

“Alright.” Lu Qingyun’s mother sighed helplessly, reached out, opened the bottle cap, and poured out a pill.

She stared intently at the small pill for a long time, as if it were some kind of ferocious beast.

 Finally, as if she had made up her mind, she took a deep breath, picked up the water glass on the bedside table, and drank a large mouthful.

After drinking the water, Lu Qingyun’s mother closed her eyes and threw the pill in her hand into her mouth.

As soon as it entered her mouth, she immediately felt a strange taste sensation. The pill instantly melted!

Then, wisps of sweet liquid flowed down her throat.

What surprised Lu Qingyun’s mother even more was that she seemed to feel a warm current flowing slowly through her body.

 The feeling was so strange that she couldn’t help but wonder if she was hallucinating.

She had a very cold constitution. In winter, even if she slept with a hot water bottle in her arms, she would still be cold by morning, especially her lower abdomen, which was always icy cold.

She had seen many doctors, and they all concluded that it was caused by cold uterus.

But now, she felt a warm sensation in her lower abdomen. It was very comfortable.

“How do you feel?” Lu Qingyun’s mother suppressed her shock and turned to ask her husband.

Lu Qingyun’s father was also in shock. Hearing his wife’s question, he came back to his senses,

 “I feel like my back doesn’t hurt anymore. My whole body feels full of energy.”

 He had twisted his waist when he went on an inspection a while back. Although it had healed, he still felt a little sore. But now, he couldn’t feel it at all.
