Chapter 39: Don’t Tempt Me
Everyone looked at each other, seeing surprise in each other’s eyes.
It was unbelievable.
When did Su Ai become so polite?
Everyone waved their hands and quickly said, “It’s okay, it’s okay.”
“We’re leaving.”
No one exchanged pleasantries with Su Ai; they turned and left, and soon the front of the house was quiet.
After helping Ji Yang inside, Lele was very happy: “Mom, you’re so amazing.”
“Play with Dad for a while; Mom needs to cook.”
“Okay!”
The father and son sat down, and Su Ai plunged into the kitchen. Before she finished cooking, someone came to see Ji Yang for medical treatment.
Ji Yang looked at his son: “Tell Mom that Dad is going to the pharmacy to get medicine for someone.”
“Dad will be careful.”
“Okay, Dad.”
Ji Yang, using his cane, took the person to the pharmacy.
Su Ai, hearing her son’s report, couldn’t help but laugh.
Ji Yang was afraid she would think he was moving around too much.
“Okay, Mom knows.”
When Su Ai finished cooking and brought the food inside, the patient was just leaving with his medicine. Seeing Su Ai with the food, he was surprised.
Su Ai can cook?
He couldn’t believe it.
“Have you eaten?” Su Ai smiled at him, quite gently.
The man’s hand trembled, and his medicine almost fell to the ground: “No, not yet.”
“Dinner is ready; have a bite here?”
“No… no, I’ve already eaten at home; I’m going back now.”
“Doctor Ji, I’ll go first.” He ran away as if escaping, and Su Ai shrugged: “Am I that scary?”
“No,” Ji Yang chuckled.
“Let’s eat.”
Ji Yang took a wad of money from his pocket and gave it to Su Ai.
“That person gave me three yuan; the rest is what I’ve saved over the past two years.”
After giving this money to Su Ai, Ji Yang had nothing left.
He handed it all over.
It was Ji Yang’s complete trust.
Su Ai glanced at it; it was about three hundred yuan.
“Turning in your salary, Doctor Ji?”
Ji Yang blushed slightly at Su Ai’s teasing but still nodded seriously: “I can move around now.”
“You can go shopping and buy some clothes.”
Su Ai used to spend any money she had on food and drink; she’d been wearing the same leather jacket for days.
The two decent sets of clothes she wore outside were in the laundry, and now she was wearing her old clothes, which looked worn and tattered.
If Ji Yang’s leg wasn’t injured, he would have gone shopping with Su Ai.
But not now.
He’ll go when his leg is better.
Su Ai couldn’t help but pinch Ji Yang’s face. He hadn’t had a haircut in a while; his short hair had grown quite long, and his hair looked fluffy, making him look even gentler.
Ji Yang stared at Su Ai.
Su Ai, without hesitation, stood on tiptoe and kissed him.
Ji Yang’s face turned red; he jumped back two steps. His first reaction was to look for his son, but the child wasn’t there, so he breathed a sigh of relief.
“You…”
“Me?” Su Ai repeated casually.
Ji Yang blushed, remained silent for a long time, and finally said, “It’s not dark yet.”
“Okay, then we’ll do it when it gets dark.”
Ji Yang’s eyes widened again, with a little moisture, looking bright.
He clearly didn’t mean that.
But Su Ai only wanted to hear that meaning.
“I’m going to town tomorrow to buy things. Do you need anything?”
The three of them sat at the dinner table.
Ji Yang shook his head: “I don’t need anything.”
“Buy yourself some clothes and shoes.”
Wearing these worn-out clothes, Ji Yang felt sorry for her.
Before, he didn’t dare to give her much money because even if he did, she wouldn’t buy clothes for herself; she would just spend it carelessly.
It’s different now.
“Okay.”
Lele raised his hand: “Mom, Lele wants new clothes too.”
“Lele wants to go to the city to play too.”
Su Ai looked at Ji Yang, who immediately said: “I have a cane; I can stand by myself. You don’t need to stay home; I can manage.”
“Take Lele to play.”
The child was also tired from being in the hospital for so many days.
“Okay.”
“I’ll ride my bike tomorrow and try to be back by noon.”
Speaking of the bicycle, Ji Yang finally remembered that Su Ai had ridden it back after the fight that day, and she hadn’t returned it.
“This bicycle…”
Su Ai swallowed a mouthful of food: “It’s ours; we bought it.”
“Don’t worry about it.”
The Big Boss wouldn’t send someone to ask for it back.
He wouldn’t want to provoke her again.
Hearing Su Ai say this, Ji Yang didn’t say anything else.
After dinner, Su Ai washed and tidied up both big and small. Lele didn’t sleep much during the day and always fell asleep first at night.
After washing Ji Yang, Su Ai also yawned; she was tired after a busy day.
“You should rest too.”
Su Ai poured out the water but turned back: “What’s wrong?”
Su Ai grabbed Ji Yang and pulled him close, without saying a word, she kissed him.
She really wanted to kiss him; she’d wanted to for a long time.
It wasn’t a quick peck.
They kissed and caressed each other.
Their lips met.
Su Ai held Ji Yang’s head, pulling him close.
Her other hand, at some point, had already slipped inside Ji Yang’s shirt.
His body, freshly wiped, was still slightly cool.
Ji Yang struggled but didn’t move again.
Only during a brief pause, he gasped, reminding Su Ai: “Lele.”
Each word was filled with apprehension.
He was still asleep next to them.
But Su Ai didn’t respond to Ji Yang.
What Lele?
Right now, she was only thinking about having fun.
Ji Yang was overwhelmed by the kiss; even the corners of his eyes were tinged with pink moisture.
Su Ai let go of Ji Yang. This image of a delicate and vulnerable beauty, ravaged by passion, was captivating.
“Damn!”
His mind was filled with the memory of the first time he tied Ji Yang up, when he cried and begged her, calling her name again and again.
His throat tightened.
Su Ai pinched Ji Yang: “Don’t tempt me.”
His leg is still injured.
Perhaps she really pinched him too hard; Ji Yang’s moist eyes trembled, and tears welled up.
“Damn.”
Su Ai cursed again, not giving Ji Yang a chance to breathe, she kissed him again.
He was her husband; she could kiss him whenever she wanted; why bother holding back?
“Mm.”
Ji Yang passively accepted Su Ai’s dominance and passion.
But he didn’t resist at all. To him, he and Su Ai were the same kind of people.
It was just that Su Ai was more flamboyant and passionate, and he was used to accepting it.
Why he fell in love with Su Ai was probably because she possessed qualities he didn’t.
Her passion, her flamboyance, firmly captivated his eyes and heart.
“Call me.”
“Su… Ai…”
“Su Ai.”
His voice was slurred.
When Su Ai finally let go of Ji Yang, his eyes were hazy.
She couldn’t help but rub her fingertip on Ji Yang’s crimson lips, until they were blood-red.
“Have I ever told you, Ji Yang,”
