The Dream Guy I Dumped is Madly Chasing Me Chapter 4.1

Chapter 4

Instantly, the surrounding students turned their attention to them.

Everyone looked at each other in shock.

Was this Xu Zhilu on the wrong medication?

Looking at Shen Siyan again, it seemed that there was no sign of anger.

Shen Siyan had a bad temper, was unruly, and was a headache for teachers and parents alike.

But precisely because of his good looks, just standing there could attract everyone’s attention.

Everyone stared straight at their side, expecting Shen Siyan’s reaction.

Shen Siyan paused slightly, looked at the chicken leg thrown back, and pursed his lips into a straight line.

After a while, he said, “Sorry.”

Everyone was stunned.

Xu Zhilu’s hand with the chopsticks paused, lowered her eyes: “Oh, forget it.”

She said, “I’m generous, and I won’t bother with you.”

Shen Siyan pulled his lips.

The students who were watching the show were completely puzzled about the direction of the situation.

Suddenly, Shen Siyan raised his eyes, glanced around indifferently, and instantly, everyone was like a startled bird, withdrawing their gazes.

Xu Zhijia was still standing by, her face turning from red to white, almost unable to believe what she saw.

Her lips moved, and she shouted, “Brother Siyan, why are you…”

Before she finished her words, Shen Siyan interrupted her.

His tone was indifferent and merciless: “Don’t bother me.”

As they walked out of the cafeteria, Xin An’an couldn’t control her laughter: “Oh my god!! Zhilu, did you see Xu Zhijia’s expression just now? It was priceless.”

She shook Xu Zhilu’s arm, feeling ecstatic: “That was so satisfying! Today, I’m giving props to Shen Siyan and Cheng Song!”

Xu Zhilu replied coldly, “…” and flatly said, “Sure, go ahead.”

Xin An’an choked for a moment, turned to her and asked, “How could you not feel happy?”

Xu Zhilu raised an eyebrow, “Feel what?”

“Happy,” Xin An’an said. “Didn’t you enjoy watching Xu Zhijia like that?”

Xu Zhilu pondered for a moment and nodded slightly, “It was okay.”

She continued, “Seeing her just now reminded me of how foolish I used to be. How could that make me happy?”

Xin An’an: “…”

She didn’t know how to respond to that.

Xu Zhilu thought for a moment, smiled and patted her shoulder, “Don’t overthink it. I don’t feel much about it now.”

After thinking about it, the world is beautiful.

Xin An’an wanted to say something more, but Xu Zhilu changed the subject first, “Let’s go back to the classroom. I want to take a nap.”

“…Alright.”

The two returned to the classroom, and Xu Zhilu didn’t show much interest in everyone’s curiosity.

She lay down and slept for a while, suddenly awakened by the cold.

The spring breeze was still cool, and she didn’t know who had opened the window. Cold air poured in, making her shiver.

Xu Zhilu groggily reached out to close the window, but before her hand touched it, a beautiful hand appeared above her.

The arm was toned from playing basketball, looking very smooth and powerful, yet not overly muscular.

The fingers were long and slender. With a slight movement, the wide-open window was closed.

Xu Zhilu’s hand paused briefly, quickly retracting.

She didn’t thank or look at the person, and laid back down again.

Even without looking, she knew whose hand it was.

Since a long time ago, Xu Zhilu had admired Shen Siyan’s hands.

Long and beautiful, with distinct joints, yet uniquely powerful.

Thinking about it, Xu Zhilu fell asleep again.

She had a vivid dream.

In the dream, she and Xu Zhijia had a disagreement over a trivial matter. Mrs. Xu didn’t distinguish right from wrong and scolded her directly, saying that she caused trouble every day and there was no peace at home as long as she was there.

Feeling wronged, Xu Zhilu also felt jealous.

Why? Why is it that she’s so unlikeable, while everything Xu Zhijia does is always right, and everything she does is always wrong?

She had a big argument with Mrs. Xu, slammed the door, and stormed out of the house. But she didn’t dare go far; she was afraid that if she went too far, she really wouldn’t be able to come back.

She found a small corner to squat in, burying her head in her knees and crying.

She cried for who knows how long. As dusk fell, she heard a familiar voice.

The young man’s voice was cold but tinged with impatience: “Xu Zhilu, go back.”

She looked up, tears streaming down her cheeks, gazing at him.

He reached out his handsome hand towards her, letting her grasp it, feeling the warmth of his palm.

The setting sun cast long shadows.

When she woke up, Xu Zhilu found the classroom unusually quiet. The classmates who usually played games and joked around during nap time were absent.

She was stunned for a moment, then lowered her head to find tissues in the drawer to wipe away the tear stains on her face.

In the dream, she had cried inexplicably.
