Shen Zhirou stood up, clearly feeling her hand being gripped tighter.
Did he really take the bait so easily?
Last night, she had read a few tips on how to flirt with men. One of them mentioned that creating opportunities for physical contact was always a winner. For example, if you have something in your hand, pretend to drop it in front of a guy, then both of you can bend down to pick it up, creating an opportunity for accidental touching.
Shen Zhirou found this technique simple to practice, so she kept it in mind.
Just now, she intentionally dropped her phone and kicked it slightly under the car, creating an excuse to talk to him.
At the very least, she needed to lure him out of the car to create an opportunity for Lu Fanghuai to notice her.
She had also deliberately placed her hand on his thigh because several tips mentioned that this could make a man feel tingly.
Although she found it a bit absurd, thinking it was just shameless flirting, some tips made sense—if there’s no resistance to physical contact, these subtle hints can easily create a sense of ambiguity and stimulate feelings.
But… this guy fell for it so quickly. Is he just a lecher?
She had just hooked his hand, and now he was already trying to hold it tight?
Shen Zhirou felt a wave of disgust, and just as she felt his grip tighten, it suddenly loosened.
He let go of her hand and stepped back, putting a safe distance between them.
Zhou Jiayu’s eyes held no hint of lust or offense. “Good that you got your phone. I don’t need to move the car to help you get it. Next time, if you need support, just ask first.”
His gaze briefly touched her hand, which had just been on his thigh.
He thought she must have done it unintentionally.
Shen Zhirou watched him about to leave: “???”
“Wait!” she quickly called out to him, “Lu Fanghuai.”
Zhou Jiayu: “???”
Lu Fanghuai?
“You are Lu Fanghuai, right? I must not be mistaken, right?” Shen Zhirou thought she saw a flash of confusion on his face, making her feel uncertain, so she asked again.
“What do you want?” Zhou Jiayu didn’t confirm that he was Lu Fanghuai, but he didn’t deny it either.
He was really puzzled by the beauty in front of him, not knowing what she wanted.
Calling out Lu Fanghuai’s name but not knowing what he looked like was indeed suspicious.
So, as a good friend who had grown up with Lu Fanghuai, he wanted to find out what she was up to.
Hearing his question, Shen Zhirou naturally assumed he was admitting she hadn’t mistaken him. Otherwise, why wouldn’t he correct her right away and instead ask what she wanted?
“I saw this car and thought it looked like yours, so I came over to check. You might not know me, but I know you.”
She stepped closer to him, shortening the distance that had just been created.
“You have some dust here.” She pointed to his shoulder, diverting his attention while also changing the subject.
“Here.” She indicated, reaching out to pat his shoulder.
Her palm lingered softly on his shoulder, creating an ambiguous contact.
Zhou Jiayu looked at the soft body leaning closer, her intentions unmistakably flirtatious, and seemingly out of nowhere.
His brows furrowed slightly, and he wanted to step back to create a safe distance again.
His earlobe suddenly felt warm as she pinched it.
“I thought there was dust here too, but I might have been mistaken,” Shen Zhirou said as she gently rubbed his earlobe, warming it with her touch, and smiled at him.
Among the methods she reviewed yesterday, she found this spontaneous approach quite interesting.
Making a man unable to keep up with her words and actions would help her gain the upper hand. By the time the man realized what was happening, he would already be thinking about her, deepening his impression of her.
Shen Zhirou had summarized a few points yesterday and was now putting them to use, feeling that they were quite effective.
She now felt that flirting with men was also a mental challenge—it was tiring.
Luckily, this “Lu Fanghuai” wasn’t overly lecherous, otherwise, she might not have dared to continue this flirtation.
She looked at him.
There was still some distance between them, but her faint fragrance lingered around his nose, constantly drawing his attention.
Zhou Jiayu looked at her and came to a single conclusion—she was beautiful.
“Your Adam’s apple is moving.” Shen Zhirou’s gaze drifted down, staring at his Adam’s apple as it bobbed slightly.
Was he swallowing because of her? Men are indeed lecherous!
She mocked him in her heart but added, “Are you drooling over me?”
Her own fine eyebrows couldn’t help but twitch at her words.
It felt a bit disgusting, but the more disgusting it was, the more effective it seemed to be with men.
She released his earlobe, her fingernail lightly grazing his Adam’s apple, making her actions even more ambiguous.
The deliberate tingling sensation hit Zhou Jiayu’s heart successfully, making him feel a soft, tingling sensation in his chest.
“What do you want?” Zhou Jiayu snapped back to reality, tilting his head slightly to avoid her touch, but his body stayed put as if by instinct.
Shen Zhirou detected a hint of impatience in his question and took a step back, deciding not to push it further. “Just joking, but I do find you attractive. Although it might sound absurd, I fell in love with you at first sight. So, can we exchange WeChat?”
“Lu Fanghuai, this is my WeChat. Add me as a friend.” She showed her WeChat QR code to Zhou Jiayu. “I mean it. I want to get to know you!”
Zhou Jiayu: “……”
What a sudden confession.
And using someone else’s name to confess…
He wanted to tell Shen Zhirou that she had mistaken him for someone else.
But the words stuck in his throat, and he changed his mind, saying, “Okay.”
