The Green Tea Supporting Character Disgusts The Male Lead
The Green Tea Supporting Character Disgusts The Male Lead Chapter 23

Oh No! Targeted by the yandere!

Ruan Yuexi was effortlessly pulled into Ye Yishen’s embrace, her whole body falling into his arms.

From behind, Ye Yishen held her tight. “How can you be so careless?” he whispered, his breath warm against her ear, his lips lightly brushing her hair.

Ruan Yuexi was flustered. “I… I almost fell. Can you let go now?”

Her face turned crimson as she tried to wriggle free from his grasp, but Ye Yishen only tightened his hold.

“Let go? What if you fall again?” Ye Yishen’s lips curled into a faint smile.

Ruan Yuexi panicked, struggling to pry his hands off her. The heat radiating from behind unnerved her, and she had no idea what this yandere would do next.

Just as she was about to call for help, Ye Yishen finally released her but immediately grabbed her soft, delicate hand, holding it firmly.

He leaned closer to Ruan Yuexi, who was now wide-eyed with shock. “Be careful. If you get hurt, it pains me.”

Ye Yishen smiled as he placed her hand on his chest, preventing her from pulling away. He then let go and walked downstairs first.

Ruan Yuexi: “!”

Ruan Yuexi stood there, gasping in fear, leaning against the railing, still shaken. She knew Ye Yishen was a yandere, but he was supposed to be obsessed with the heroine, Tang Qingqing. Why was he acting this way towards her, a mere supporting character?

She was too scared to go downstairs for a moment. She shook her tingling hands, contemplating seeking out the other pervert, Shang Yao.

But then she remembered how Shang Yao had stared at her feet last night. Ruan Yuexi shook her head vehemently and opened her abuse value system. The abuse value point was still just 58 points.

In Shang Yao’s presence, she can’t play the victim or be a green tea. Ruan Yuexi was at her wit’s end.

Never mind. With so many people around, Ye Yishen wouldn’t dare do anything to her. Ruan Yuexi gathered her courage and headed downstairs.

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, she wanted to turn back immediately because, apart from Ye Yishen, the dining room was empty.

She was about to leave when Ye Yishen spoke up, “Come, sit down and have breakfast.” His tone was gentle.

Ruan Yuexi reluctantly turned back, thinking that defying Ye Yishen would only excite him more. His psychotic tendencies were almost as bad as Shang Yao’s.

Ruan Yuexi, hoping that Tang Qingqing would be present to alleviate the awkwardness, smiled awkwardly and walked over to sit down.

Just as she was about to speak, she noticed that Ye Yishen was no longer in sight. Before she could figure out where he had gone, a wave of hot breath reached her from behind. She didn’t have time to turn around before a plate with a sandwich was placed in front of her, and Ye Yishen’s arms tightly encircled her from behind.

“Try it. I made it especially for you,” Ye Yishen said, leaning close to her once more.

Ruan Yuexi’s whole body tensed, her hairs standing on end. “Th-thank you,” she stammered, trying to make herself as small as possible.

But Ye Yishen had no intention of letting her go. “Do you want me to feed you?” he asked, his voice dripping with seduction.

Ruan Yuexi shook her head frantically. “No need, no need. I can eat it myself.”

Ye Yishen’s lips brushed her ear before he straightened up. “Enjoy.”

Ruan Yuexi quickly grabbed the sandwich and began eating, trying to ignore Ye Yishen’s intense gaze from across the table.

“Eat slowly, or you might choke,” Ye Yishen said, his tone carrying a hint of warning.

Ruan Yuexi, already nervous, coughed a few times and took several sips of the soy milk to steady herself. Before she knew it, Ye Yishen was by her side again, gently patting her shoulder. She was on the verge of tears, but before she could say anything, he moved back to his seat.

“You should listen when I tell you to eat slowly,” Ye Yishen said, his doting tone making Ruan Yuexi feel even more uncomfortable.

She quickly finished the sandwich. “I was too hungry, so I ate quickly,” she said, downing the milk in one gulp.

The atmosphere was tense, and Ye Yishen didn’t say anything else, merely watching her with a strange smile.

Ruan Yuexi felt a chill run down her spine. Where was everyone else? Why was no one around this early in the morning?

She knew she couldn’t go back to her room. If Ye Yishen followed her in, she’d be in even more trouble. “I’m going for a walk,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

“Want me to join you?” Ye Yishen asked.

Ruan Yuexi almost shook her head off. “No, I just want some time alone,” she said, feigning sadness.

“Alright, be careful,” Ye Yishen said, surprisingly considerate.

Ruan Yuexi finally breathed a sigh of relief as she stepped out of the villa. She could still feel Ye Yishen’s burning gaze on her until she turned a corner.

Leaning against the wall, Ruan Yuexi wiped the thin layer of sweat from her forehead. She hadn’t expected this morning’s ordeal. She just wanted to go back to the villa, but she feared both the male lead and the male supporting character.

She walked a few steps before she saw Feng Yi and the others in a group. She felt a surge of hope. “Where did you all go?” she asked, looking around for Shang Yao, but he was not there.

“We went to watch the sunrise. You were sleeping so soundly we didn’t want to wake you,” Ning Chen said before anyone else could answer.

His words made Lu Yiliang frown slightly as he glanced at Ning Chen.

“Sunrise? What about Brother Yao?” Ruan Yuexi asked, wondering where Shang Yao was.

“Shang Yao went for a morning run. He should be back soon,” Lu Yiliang replied gently.

Ruan Yuexi nodded. So Shang Yao went for a run. Tang Qingqing glanced at Lu Yiliang, then at Ruan Yuexi, before lowering her eyes again.

Walking alongside them back to the villa, Ning Chen asked casually, “Did you have breakfast?”

“Yes, Mr. Ye made sandwiches,” Ruan Yuexi replied, thinking it was the scariest breakfast she had ever had in both her lifetimes.

Ning Chen paused for a moment. “Ye Yishen?”

“Yes,” Ruan Yuexi answered, not daring to mention him too much. The thought of seeing him again made her feel suffocated.

Tang Qingqing smiled and chimed in, “Mr. Ye is quite nice. He made breakfast for everyone this morning, and it was quite good.”

Ruan Yuexi didn’t know what to say. If Ye Yishen had already interacted with the female lead, why was he targeting her, the supporting character? The heroine had plenty of protectors around her, but that didn’t mean Ye Yishen couldn’t create opportunities to be alone with her.

In the original story, Ye Yishen nearly got the heroine, and it was only Lu Yiliang who saved Tang Qingqing in the end.

Ruan Yuexi suddenly felt that she was in a crisis. The male lead was a pervert, the supporting male lead was a yandere, and what was even more terrifying was that the supporting male lead seemed to have set his eyes on her. It was really terrifying!

As soon as they entered the villa, Shang Yao returned, dripping with sweat. Ruan Yuexi didn’t approach him, knowing she had to play her part to increase the abuse value.

“Brother Yao, have you had breakfast? Let me make it for you,” she said, still playing her role to ensure the abuse value would increase.

Shang Yao stopped beside her. “Can you cook?”

“I… I can,” she stammered, feeling everyone’s eyes on her.

“Alright, I’ll come down to eat later,” Shang Yao said, then went upstairs.

Ruan Yuexi felt like she was stuck. Shang Yao surely knew she was just being polite.

Tang Qingqing’s face turned pale. She could see that Shang Yao’s attitude towards Ruan Yuexi had changed.

Ning Chen sat on the sofa with his tongue on the roof of his mouth, staring at Ruan Yuexi with unclear eyes.

Lu Yiliang stepped forward and asked Ruan Yuexi, “Do you need any help?”

Ruan Yuexi snapped out of her thoughts and quickly waved her hands, “No, no, I can handle it myself.” Cooking was not a problem for her.

Lu Yiliang nodded and said, “Alright, if you need any help, just let me know.” His words were gentle.

Ruan Yuexi thought Lu Yiliang seemed like a really good person. “Thanks, brother,” she said, patting him on the shoulder.

Ning Chen let out a derisive laugh, his gaze shifting heavily to Lu Yiliang.

Ruan Yuexi planned to make a simple noodle soup for Shang Yao. As she walked into the kitchen, she was greeted by Ye Yishen’s smiling face.

“I didn’t eat either. Make some for me too,” Ye Yishen said, sitting at the table with a hopeful look.

Ruan Yuexi was taken aback. “What? But you already made breakfast earlier.”

Ye Yishen smiled lightly. “I enjoy making breakfast, but I don’t eat it.”

Ruan Yuexi sighed inwardly. “Alright then.” She couldn’t refuse, after all, it was just a matter of making a bit more noodles.

Ning Chen’s face darkened, feeling a sense of inferiority. How could he not have thought of this?

Tang Qingqing felt that she was no longer the center of attention since Ruan Yuexi arrived…

Ruan Yuexi turned around and began preparing the ingredients. When the noodles were ready, Shang Yao came down the stairs.

“Brother Yao, the noodles are ready,” Ruan Yuexi said with a sweet smile as she greeted Shang Yao.

Shang Yao, expressionless, walked to the table. He noticed Ye Yishen also eating noodles and his eyes narrowed slightly before he sat down and started eating.

The noodles tasted unexpectedly delicious. Shang Yao looked up at Ruan Yuexi.

Seeing them eat with such relish, Ruan Yuexi felt a bit dejected. In front of Shang Yao, she couldn’t play the pitiful act. Tsk, it was all in vain. It was better when Uncle Li was around. His help was enough.

Ye Yishen drank the broth down to the last drop. “Miss Ruan has good cooking skills,” he said, his delicate and handsome face showing a hint of satisfaction.

Ruan Yuexi scratched her head awkwardly. “As long as it’s not bad.”

“I like it very much,” Ye Yishen said, giving her a meaningful smile.

Ruan Yuexi shivered and quickly left the dining room. She couldn’t afford to provoke him, but she could avoid him.

Shang Yao put down his chopsticks, his cold eyes meeting Ye Yishen’s. Ye Yishen seemed to sense it and met his gaze.

Ruan Yuexi didn’t pay them any mind. She had discovered a swimming pool and left the dining room to head towards it. The water looked quite clean. She squatted down and swirled her hand in the pool.

It was a secluded spot, and she really wanted to swim. Even though she wasn’t a great swimmer, she still loved it.
