Would You Confess Your Love To A Mafia Heiress? Chapter 29

Chapter 29: Big Brother Biao? Let’s call you Fugui

After receiving the elderly phone, Su Jiang left Xiao Mian Ye Night Bar and took a taxi straight home.

According to An Mingjie’s arrangement, he had nothing else to do afterwards, not even with this old phone, and it might not even be necessary to use it.

An Mingjie said this was the last resort. If things went smoothly, perhaps this measure wouldn’t be needed, and they could take down the Feng family.

Su Jiang didn’t know if it was true or not. Anyway, he just needed to wait for An Mingjie’s message. It would only be a matter of sending a message when the time came.

Walking into the residential area, Su Jiang walked with his hands in his pockets to the downstairs, ready to go upstairs, when he suddenly heard a cat meowing.

Su Jiang was stunned. He remembered that pets were not allowed in this residential area. Where did the cat come from?

Following the sound, he saw a small white cat under the street lamp.

The white cat was crouching under the street lamp, eating a piece of ham sausage given to it by someone. Sensing someone approaching, its little ears immediately perked up, looking warily at Su Jiang.

“Well, there really is a little cat.” Su Jiang clicked his tongue, guessing that someone must have felt sorry for this little guy and gave it a piece of ham sausage.

After a glance, Su Jiang planned to leave. After all, the cat just got startled when it saw him, so it must be quite timid.

“Meow!”

“What are you doing?”

Just as Su Jiang turned around, the little white cat meowed and, surprisingly, didn’t even eat the ham sausage, but ran to rub against Su Jiang’s trouser leg.

“Let me tell you, I don’t have any ham sausage for you.” Su Jiang pointed at it as a warning.

“Meow!”

The white cat continued to rub against Su Jiang. For some reason, it seemed particularly affectionate towards him, not leaving no matter how much Su Jiang tried to shoo it away.

Su Jiang quickly realized what the problem was.

Animal telepathy!

This low-level skill rewarded by the system, Su Jiang had even criticized this skill for being useless at the time.

Watching the little white cat meow incessantly, Su Jiang felt overwhelmed.

Would he have animals flocking to him every time he walked into a place with many pets?

So, Su Jiang squatted down, trying to reason with it.

“Don’t rub against me, I don’t have any ham sausage for you. Didn’t you finish the one you had?”

“Meow!” ‘Not tasty.’

“You’re a stray cat now, and you still care about whether the ham sausage is good or not?”

“Meow!” ‘Take me home.’

“It’s impossible to take you home. Pets are not allowed in this residential area, although many people secretly keep them.”

“Meow!” ‘I don’t care, take me home.’

“I already told you…” Su Jiang paused halfway through his sentence and suddenly froze.

Oh my goodness!

How am I communicating with a cat?

No!

How on earth can I understand what it’s meowing about?

“System, can animal telepathy also allow me to communicate seamlessly with animals?”

“Yes!”

“Awesome!” Su Jiang shouted in his heart, this was truly unbelievable.

Watching the little white cat still rubbing against him, Su Jiang said helplessly, “Alright, since you’re the first animal to communicate with me, I’ll keep you.”

Originally, Su Jiang was reluctant to take it in because he thought it would be too much trouble, having to teach it various things slowly.

But since they could communicate, it should be much easier to manage, Su Jiang thought.

“Meow!” ‘Thank you, master.’

“Let’s go.” Su Jiang patted the little white cat’s head, picked it up, and took it home.

Back at home, Su Jiang cleaned up the little white cat right away, making it much cleaner than before.

“Meow!” ‘I’m hungry.’

Su Jiang, feeling helpless, continued to translate.

After rummaging through the fridge, there wasn’t much to eat, only some ham sausages.

“Here, have this.” Su Jiang peeled open the ham sausage, placed it on a plate, and handed it to the little white cat.

The little white cat took a bite.

“Meow!” ‘Not tasty.’

“If you don’t believe I’ll smack your cat head, bringing you home and you’re still picky.” Su Jiang threatened fiercely.

“Meow!” ‘I’m sorry.’

The little white cat was very tactful, obviously having experienced the harsh reality of the cat society, knowing that the ham sausage was not easy to come by.

Watching the little white cat eat the ham sausage, Su Jiang was moved and took out his phone to snap a photo, sending it to An Rou.

Su Jiang: “I’m home.”

Within seconds, An Rou’s reply came.

An Rou: “!”

An Rou: “Such a cute little kitty, do you own it?”

Su Jiang: “No, just picked it up downstairs.”

An Rou: “Have you named it?”

Su Jiang was stunned, then lowered his head and asked the little white cat, “Do you have a name?”

The little white cat chewed on the ham sausage, raised its head, and a sense of pride shone in its eyes.

“Meow meow meow!” ‘The cats on the street call me Big Brother Biao.’

Su Jiang fell silent, expressionless as he typed: “No name yet, you can give it one.”

“Then waited for several minutes, An Rou must have been thinking of a name.

“Meow meow meow!” ‘Master, isn’t my name nice?’

“Big Brother Biao, right? I’ll change your name later.” Su Jiang replied casually, taking a sip of water.

“Meow!” ‘I won’t change!’

“Protest is invalid, you must change. How can a cat like you be called Big Brother Biao? Which street cat gave you that name? Do you cats also have the underworld?”

Before the little white cat could respond, a message from An Rou came through.

An Rou: “Let’s call him Nicholas Fugui!”

An Rou: “Nickname will be Fugui!”

“Pfft!” Su Jiang saw the name An Rou chose and water sprayed out of his mouth.

This name was beyond anyone’s imagination.

Looking sympathetically at the little white cat, oh no, now it should be called Fugui.

You’ve got yourself a genius namer, I can’t help you now.

He squatted down, lowered his head to discuss with Fugui, “So, let’s change the name to, uh, Nicholas Fugui. From now on, you’ll be called Fugui, how about that?”

Su Jiang felt a bit sorry for Fugui, this name was even worse than Big Brother Biao.

“Meow?” ???

Fugui was confused, who came up with this name?

Ignoring Fugui’s protests, Su Jiang directly replied to An Rou, “He agreed, quite happy about it.”

An Rou: “Really? That’s great!”

An Rou: “I’ll come to your place tomorrow to see it!”

Su Jiang: “Okay.”

A hint of a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, then he received another message, this time from Wang Ziyang.

Wang Ziyang: “Old Su, tomorrow we have a five-seat private room booked at the internet cafe!”

Su Jiang: “I’m busy tomorrow.”

After replying with four words, Su Jiang casually tossed Fugui onto the sofa, “Fugui, you’ll sleep on the sofa tonight. If you need to pee or anything, go to the toilet, the same place where I bathed you just now. If you dare to relieve yourself anywhere else, I’ll throw you out tomorrow.”

“Meow!” ‘I don’t want to be called Fugui.’

It was still struggling with the name.

Click!

Su Jiang turned off the light, gently leaped onto the big bed, covered himself with the blanket, and didn’t care about anything else.

Even if the world were to end tomorrow, all he wanted to do was sleep.
