Chapter 1: Crossing into a Different World
“Chief, Fei Li hasn’t woken up yet. Why don’t we just sacrifice Fei Li? At least it might buy us a few more days.”
The old man who was called the chief had a white beard. He glared at the man who spoke and said, “What nonsense are you saying? Fei Li was injured and fell unconscious because he was protecting our tribe. How can you say such things now?”
The man couldn’t argue against the chief, but the clamor in his ears made him feel terrified.
Their tribe was attacked by the wolf tribe, and the females had already been killed.
Now, only the males of their tribe are left.
After hesitating, the man stood up and said, “Luo Sang, I know what you’re looking for. He’s the person you are looking for.”
At these words, everyone from the wolf tribe turned their gaze to the unconscious male on the ground.
A glimmer of excitement appeared in the eyes of every orcs.
Fei Li slowly opened his eyes, slightly squinting against the glaring light.
The surroundings gradually quieted down.
He sat up, and as his eyes adjusted, he began to survey the area.
The men sitting on the ground, like him, were shirtless, with only a few leaves barely covering their private parts.
Looking up, he saw a burly man with animal skin wrapped around his waist.
The man’s well-defined abs and straight legs were visible.
After he swallowed, his gaze settled on the man’s face.
Unlike the dark skin of the others, this man had yellow skin.
His appearance was pleasing to the eye, comparable to the best-looking men Fei Li had ever seen.
It’s just that the clothing he’s wearing is so strange.
Could it be that he had mistakenly wandered into some film set?
He stood up with a smile and apologized, “Sorry to interrupt your shoot! I’ll leave now, you can continue.”
Ignoring the fierce gazes of the men, he was about to make his escape when one of them reached out with a long arm and pulled him back.
Looking at the man’s unfairly handsome face, he wiped his mouth again.
“Are you sure he’s the one we’re looking for?” Luo Sang gave Fei Li a cold glance before turning his look back to the other man.
The man nodded nervously.
Luo Sang pulled Fei Li into his arms with a victorious smile playing at his lips.
“We’re leaving. These people are yours to enjoy.”
The men behind Luo Sang let out excited roars, and Fei Li frowned, wondering why their roaring sounded like wolves?
Before he could think it through, Luo Sang had carried him onto his shoulder and started walking forward.
With his head hanging down, and his blood rushed to his brain, this made him feel dizzy.
He started to slap Luo Sang uncomfortably and a feeling of premonition emerged into his mind.
What kind of madness are these? They are not human, nor beast.
Suddenly he came to his senses, are they orcs?
He looked around at the desolate surroundings, which resembled an undeveloped primitive society.
Orcs? Primitive society?
He looked down at Luo Sang, who was carrying him, and asked, “Are you an orc?”
Ignoring his question, Luo Sang continued to carry him forward.
Tilting his head up, he saw the men who had been sitting with him earlier being dragged into the woods by Luo Sang’s companions.
Fear was evident on each man’s face.
Luo Sang carried him to the riverbank and tossed him into the water. “Clean yourself off. I don’t like my things to be too dirty.”
Dirty?
He instinctively looked at his body.
Scary!
He had a face that looked strangely delicate, and only a few leaves covering his waist—his whole body was completely exposed.
He had traveled to another world!
And not only that, he had soul-transmigrated into another man’s body.
Recalling back to before the transmigration, he had been in medical school, dissecting a corpse with his professor when the morgue caught fire.
He had lost consciousness in the flames and woke up here.
Glaring at his reflection in the water, he grumbled to himself: Fine, I’ve transmigrated. But at least leave me some memories. I know nothing about this body except its name.
After getting out of the cold water, he cautiously looked at Luo Sang. “Why did you bring me here?”
When he looked at Luo Sang, his eyes were filled with fear of the unknown society.
Luo Sang glanced at him impatiently, pulled a piece of raw meat from a small pouch on his body, and started eating it.
The raw meat, dripping with blood, seemed to turn into a delicacy in his mouth.
Fei Li looked at this and bent over, violently vomiting.
