On the other side!
A car crashed into Xu Mo’s convoy, resulting in three deaths and two injuries.
After Xu Junzhe started exerting pressure, the consequences were quite severe. Both he and Liu Kaikang didn’t want anything to go wrong with Fengxiang Jewelry. Xu Mo had long suspected that they might try something, so the accident still happened.
The vehicle involved was a Tesla, claimed to have no brakes and lost control. Even though people died, it was just a matter of paying compensation.
Neither Xu Junzhe nor Liu Kaikang were afraid.
Xu Mo was naturally not in the car. In fact, his vehicle had long been modified; it wasn’t an ordinary car but an armored one.
He and Gu Huanxi had several such cars, usually rotating their use. The one that was destroyed was merely one of them.
Xie Zhen knew about it because Xu Mo called him to handle the situation.
“This kid is quite ruthless! Send him another document!” Xu Mo stood on a high building, looking down at the bustling scene in the capital, narrowing his eyes.
“Are we going to use this incident to pressure him?” Gu Huanxi asked.
“No need! We don’t have evidence for this matter, so there’s no need for it. We can use other methods. Have the police come to visit again and provide them with a lead!” Xu Mo said coldly.
“Alright! But we must not let this consume all our energy!” Gu Huanxi expressed some concern.
“Of course not! This is just a minor issue! Whether Xu Junzhe dies or Xie Bingyan dies, it’s a trivial matter to us and will not affect our normal lives at all!” Xu Mo replied with a smile.
“That’s good!”
In fact, despite the intense turmoil with Xie Bingyan and Xu Junzhe, it only occupied a small portion of Xu Mo’s time.
Most of Xu Mo’s time was still devoted to the company.
This time, Xu Junzhe’s counterattack seemed to please Xu Mo. For him, Xu Junzhe’s actions indicated that he had reached a state of panic, and he could just keep intensifying the pressure!
“Kill them! After Xie Bingyan finds out everything, she’ll kill you, or you can kill Xie Bingyan and frame Xu Mo. Make your choice!”
Gu Huanxi also hoped that this matter would end soon. She didn’t want the person she loved to become a monster!
…
That day, a team of police officers indeed went to search Xu Junzhe’s office again. The reason was the same: Fengxiang Jewelry was suspected of money laundering. They not only temporarily sealed off the CEO’s office but also the offices of most employees at the headquarters, investigating the documents inside.
Xu Junzhe asked the police if they had specific information, why they were disrupting their normal work, and whether they had a search warrant.
The police showed him the search warrant directly.
“We already have evidence related to this matter, but we can’t provide it to Mr. Xu at the moment. We will conduct the search to the maximum extent possible without affecting the normal operation of Fengxiang Jewelry!”
“Rest assured, Mr. Xu, we will handle this impartially!”
The police officers who arrived were all business and showed no leniency. Even when Xu Junzhe offered bribes through his subordinates, they refused to accept them!
“What evidence? You’re framing innocent people! You’re disrupting our normal operations! I will file a complaint about your improper conduct to higher authorities!”
Xu Junzhe roared in anger.
The officer glanced at him and calmly replied, “Mr. Xu, this is up to you. We’ve only obtained a portion of the leads.”
Xu Junzhe, seeing their unyielding attitude, grew even more furious.
Especially after receiving the news that Xu Mo was unharmed despite the crash, Xu Junzhe felt even more despondent.
Although he and Liu Kaikang had anticipated that such a wealthy individual like Xu Mo would be difficult to kill, failing in this way left him feeling quite distressed.
If possible, eliminating Xu Mo would indeed be the most suitable course of action.
“Mr. Xu, here is a document for you. Please check it!”
A police officer handed him a file.
When Xu Junzhe saw it, he was immediately alarmed, not knowing what Xu Mo might be up to.
He suddenly hesitated to open the document.
“Please accept it, Mr. Xu!” The officer, seeing his reluctance, signaled again.
Xu Junzhe, looking anxious, had no choice but to reach out and take it.
He quickly found a secluded spot, examined the envelope in his hand, which looked similar to the previous one and had no visible information.
The information was inside the envelope.
Xu Junzhe hesitated to open it, suspecting that it contained some terrifying news and that Xu Mo might be threatening him.
To be honest, he had been puzzled by Xu Mo’s recent actions and didn’t understand what he was trying to do.
If nothing unexpected had occurred, Xu Mo should have had solid evidence by now. If he wanted the police to arrest him, he would have handed over all the evidence.
However, Xu Mo seemed not to have done so. It appeared that he wanted to play games, to torment him.
“Are you trying to play games with me? Are you toying with me? Fine, I’ll play along!” Xu Junzhe felt a sense of humiliation and anger at being manipulated. Gritting his teeth, he looked at the envelope in his hand and, without hesitation, tore it open and took out the A4 paper inside.
He quickly unfolded it and read what was written.
“Huang Qiuling, Zhao Long! Tianjing Park—Xu Mo!”
Xu Junzhe’s face turned pale in an instant.
“This… this…” Xu Junzhe was terrified, a chill running down his spine as he widened his eyes.
The names were those of his biological parents, who lived at Tianjing Park and were planning to go abroad.
“What is Xu Mo… doing? What on earth is he trying to do?”
Xu Junzhe suddenly found himself unable to understand Xu Mo’s actions; they seemed chaotic and unpredictable, which made him very fearful.
Currently, the names Huang Qiuling and Zhao Long were indeed sensitive, especially with Xie Bingyan and Xu Deming. If they were exposed, the consequences would be severe.
Was Xu Mo trying to make Xie Bingyan and Xu Deming aware of everything?
Was Xu Mo aiming to make Xie Bingyan and Xu Deming completely abandon him?
It seemed so!
Right now, Xu Junzhe’s position as CEO was still unstable, and the money he invested couldn’t be retrieved; it was all locked in.
Xu Deming still had influence, and if he wanted to overturn Xu Junzhe’s position as CEO, it would be very simple.
At that point, he would lose everything.
“This absolutely cannot happen! The name Huang Qiuling cannot be exposed…” Xu Junzhe was genuinely panicked, trembling with fear.
But he was also a smart person, knowing that panic wouldn’t help and that he needed to address the problem first.
And the current solution…
Since Xu Mo couldn’t be dealt with, only Xu Deming and Xie Bingyan could resolve the situation.
Previously, he hadn’t dared to act because he couldn’t go abroad, but now, it seemed that this was the only path available.
One of Xu Deming or Xie Bingyan had to die, or perhaps both.
Only in this way would Xu Mo be unable to control the Xu family, and the Xie family in the capital would completely sever ties with Xu Mo, leaving no possibility of reconciliation!
“I still need the Chen family’s help! Xu Xuehui…”
