A few hours earlier, after leaving the An family home, Su Jiang made a phone call to An Mingjie.
An Mingjie was still fuming, and when he saw that Su Jiang had the nerve to call him, he snapped:
“Hello? So you’ve got some guts, showing up at my house and openly hugging my sister. What, are you calling to brag now?”
Su Jiang was taken aback. How did An Mingjie know about that?
But that wasn’t the main point. Su Jiang quickly informed An Mingjie about the matter concerning Wu Chengren, and An Mingjie soon realized the importance of the situation.
“You’re saying that someone is watching over Rourou and could strike at any moment?”
An Mingjie’s tone was calm, but Su Jiang could sense that he was already filled with murderous intent.
“Exactly. Since we don’t know his background, I’d like to borrow some of your men.”
Su Jiang finally revealed the purpose of the call. He always sought to ensure that everything was foolproof.
However, An Mingjie did not respond immediately. After a long silence, he said in a deep voice, “Right now, most of the An family’s people are being watched, so I can’t spare anyone to help you—except for one person.”
“Who?”
“Li Cai. It took a lot of effort to get him out from under the Feng family’s surveillance, but we only have today to use him.”
“Is he near the amusement park outskirts in Jiangdu?”
“Yes, how did you know?” An Mingjie was surprised. Li Cai had gone there secretly, and even the Feng family was unaware of it. How did Su Jiang know?
Su Jiang then explained about the situation at the amusement park, and An Mingjie finally understood. He continued, “There’s a Feng family weapons factory in that area. I had him check out the situation there, and he’s still there now.”
“Alright, I’ll contact him.” Su Jiang said, then hung up on An Mingjie.
Since he was going to seek Li Cai’s help, there was no need to linger on the phone with An Mingjie any longer.
“You remember to definitely deal with that person… Hello? Hello?”
“Su Jiang, you bastard!”
An Mingjie was furious. He hadn’t finished speaking yet, and Su Jiang had already hung up on him.
Forget it. With Li Cai around, things should be under control. He even mentioned letting Su Jiang spare that person’s life, so there should be no issue.
Su Jiang then called Li Cai. After discussing the details, they decided to lure Wu Chengren to the outskirts to take action.
When Su Jiang heard that Li Cai had a sniper rifle, his eyes lit up, and he felt much more confident.
“Don’t worry, Old Li. I’m skilled at this; I’ll make sure to lure him out to the outskirts safely!”
After saying this, Su Jiang went to find Wu Chengren, leading to the current situation.
When he got out of the car, Su Jiang specifically messaged Li Cai, instructing him not to fire until he gave a signal with his hand.
The time has now arrived.
“Su Jiang stood in front of Wu Chengren, and with a fierce kick to his lower abdomen, sent Wu Chengren sprawling to the ground. Then, he began kicking him, one foot at a time.
“I told you, I hate being threatened with a gun!”
He kicked him in the back.
“And you’re still pretending to be a person from the Feng family? Why don’t you admit you’re from the Wang family instead?'”
He kicked him again in the chest.
“With your intelligence, Lin Hui actually dares to use you as a trump card? Pfft!”
After delivering the final kick, Su Jiang spat on Wu Chengren. At this point, Wu Chengren was curled up on the ground, completely powerless to resist.
Not far away, Li Cai was gradually emerging from the dense forest, holding a black sniper rifle, and looking somewhat speechless.
From the way Su Jiang looked so pleased with himself, one might think he was some kind of major villain.”
Looking at Wu Chengren, who couldn’t get up, Li Cai walked forward, glanced at him, and said “Lin Family member.”
“How did you know?’
“I’ve never seen this face before. The Feng family is unlikely to hide such a person, but Lin Hui would do such a thing.”
Su Jiang’s mouth twitched. No wonder this person couldn’t be exposed and had to be killed by me.”
“So, as soon as you’re exposed, everyone can guess you’re from the Lin family?”
At this point, Wu Chengren had already lost consciousness. Li Cai pulled out a short knife from his waist, ready to end his life directly.
“Hey, hey, hey, wait a minute!” Su Jiang quickly stopped him. He still had plans for Wu Chengren.
Li Cai looked at Su Jiang with confusion, not understanding why Su Jiang wanted to keep him alive, and said:
“Interrogation won’t yield any useful information. Don’t expect to get anything about the Lin family out of him.”
He thought Su Jiang wanted to extract some information, so he clarified in advance. People from these families would never betray their family.
Because once you betray your family, not only will you be hunted down, but your reputation in the underworld will also be ruined. You’d become like a rat crossing the street, everyone shouting to beat you.
“Who’s talking about interrogation?” Su Jiang said with a helpless expression, clearly thinking Li Cai had some brains, but not much.
Since the decision was to resolve the Feng family issue within a week, Su Jiang needed to take actions that would cause the maximum damage to the Feng family.
So, Su Jiang adopted a ‘since you’re so clueless, let me explain’ expression and said to Li Cai, “Old Li, you see, you came here to check out the Feng family’s weapon factory, right”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“So, this person,” Su Jiang pointed at Wu Chengren , and continued, “is definitely from the Lin family, right?”
“Yes, so what?”
Su Jiang sighed, wondering why he still didn’t understand.
“If we were to destroy the Feng family’s weapon factory and then throw this person over to them, what do you think the Feng family would think?”
“Wouldn’t the Feng family think that Lin Hui is taking advantage of the situation to join forces with the An family to strike down the Feng family? After all, if the Feng family falls, Lin Hui will also benefit.”
Li Cai was stunned by Su Jiang’s words. It was as if a thunderclap had exploded in his mind. He looked at Su Jiang with disbelief.
Damn, you’re really devious!
To come up with such a ruthless plan, Li Cai momentarily felt that Su Jiang was truly cut out for the underworld.
“But the problem is, with just the two of us, how do we destroy the weapon factory?” Li Cai asked, clearly puzzled. “The factory is guarded on the outside, and we can’t get close, let alone get inside.”
Su Jiang smiled slightly. “Who says we have to go inside?”
“Old Li, you brought quite a few things with you this time, didn’t you?”
“Yes, I brought everything I could, and it’s all stored in the staff dormitory at the amusement park.”
“Do you have explosives?”
“Yes, but there isn’t much—enough to blow up the whole factory.”
“That’s fine.”
Li Cai’s eyes twitched uncontrollably. What exactly was Su Jiang planning?
He wanted to blow up the factory?
But there isn’t enough explosive material, and how would they get it inside?
“Su Jiang, stop messing around. If this causes trouble, it won’t end well.”
“Li Cai thought Su Jiang might be out of his mind. If Su Jiang could actually blow up the factory with what they had, then Li Cai would acknowledge him as the boss on the spot!
Su Jiang pulled out a belt and swiftly bound Wu Chengren .”
“Effortlessly lifting Wu Chengren onto his shoulder, Su Jiang looked at Li Cai and gave a faint smile.
“Don’t worry, Old Li. You just provide the explosives. The rest, you can just sit back and watch the show.”
