“Mr. Tang! Ms. Su!” Lin Bin greeted them warmly.

“Mr. Lin! Sorry to have kept you waiting!” Tang Feng said.

“We’re planning to go back to our hometown,” Tang Feng replied.

“You should at least stay for a meal before leaving,” Lin Bin quickly tried to keep them.

“We’ll talk about it another time. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the near future,” Tang Feng declined the offer graciously.

Seeing him so determined, Lin Bin didn’t insist any further.

“Oh, Mr. Lin, could you arrange for a car to take us to Binjiang District?” Tang Feng requested.

“Will you be coming back from Binjiang District?” Lin Bin inquired.

“Yes,” Tang Feng nodded, “If nothing unexpected happens, we will return tomorrow and then take the flight from Daocheng to Beijing.”

“In that case, I’ll have the driver stay in Binjiang District for a day. That way, he can take you back here tomorrow,” Lin Bin decided quickly.

“Isn’t that inappropriate? What will you do?” Tang Feng showed concern.

“I’ve been staying next door recently, so I don’t really need the driver,” Lin Bin responded.

“If that’s the case, then let’s do as you suggest!” Tang Feng agreed.

Then, Tang Feng bid farewell to Lin Bin, taking Su Xiaoli with him into the car.

The driver started the car and headed towards Binjiang.

Close to reaching Binjiang District, Tang Feng called his father.

“Dad! Where are you?” Tang Feng asked.

“I’m near the supermarket,” Tang Long replied.

“I’ll come to find you in a bit,” Tang Feng said.

“What did you say?” Tang Long’s voice octaves soared.

“We’re almost at Binjiang District. I’ll come to find you,” Tang Feng repeated.

“Are you and Xiaoli coming back together?” Tang Long asked.

“Yes,” Tang Feng nodded.

“You kid! Coming back without a sound! At least you could have called in advance so we could have prepared something,” Tang Long’s tone carried a bit of reproach.

“Xiaoli and I were in Daocheng for business and decided to come back on a whim,” Tang Feng fabricated a reason.

“Is that so? When will you arrive?” Tang Long’s tone softened.

“About ten more minutes,” Tang Feng replied.

“I’ll wait for you at the supermarket entrance,” Tang Long said before hanging up.

Tang Feng shook his head as he heard the call end.

Soon, the car arrived at the supermarket entrance.

“Driver, this is for you. Find yourself a hotel for the night. I’ll call you when it’s time to go back tomorrow,” Tang Feng said, handing over a thousand yuan.

“This really isn’t necessary! Mr. Tang, you don’t have to worry about me. Mr. Lin will reimburse me when I get back,” the driver hurriedly refused.

“This is just a small gesture from me. If you don’t accept it, I’ll be unhappy,” Tang Feng pretended to be stern.

Seeing his expression, the driver had no choice but to accept the money.

Then, Tang Feng and Su Xiaoli got out of the car.

The car left the area.

“Feng! Xiaoli!” Tang Long’s voice called out!

Tang Feng, holding Su Xiaoli’s hand, walked towards where his father was.

“Did you guys take a taxi back?” Tang Long asked.

“No,” Tang Feng shook his head, “A business partner arranged for a car to bring us back.”

“Shall we go to my office to sit for a while?” Tang Long suggested.

“I want to take a look around the supermarket. I haven’t been inside since it opened,” Tang Feng replied.

“Okay! I’ll go in with you!” Tang Long agreed readily.

“No need!” Tang Feng gestured, “You go ahead with your work. Xiaoli and I will just take a look around.”

“Alright! Call me when you’re done.”
