Transmigrated Into a World of Villains: I Took Out the Protagonists After They Read My Mind Chapter 48

Chapter 48: The Life-Saving Birth Hair

Big Scarred Face sat opposite Feng Batian, pouring a glass of wine for him. Feng Batian sneered inwardly.

Big Scarred Face, unaware of Feng Batian’s thoughts, poured himself a glass as well.

Speaking up, Big Scarred Face sighed, lifting his glass. “Chief, let me first offer you a toast. After drinking, I’ll explain everything slowly.”

Will he even live to hear it?

Feng Batian’s breathing grew heavy.

Maintaining the mindset of not startling the snake, he lifted his glass, pretending to drink.

Meanwhile, Big Scarred Face toasted first.

Feng Batian: “……”

Very well.

He set his wine glass down. “My throat hasn’t been feeling well these past few days. This wine is harmful.”

Big Scarred Face was taken aback. “Then Chief, it’s a bit awkward for you to just watch me drink alone.”

“Awkward!” Feng Batian snorted coldly.

Big Scarred Face felt that the Chief seemed different tonight, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on what was wrong.

Big Scarred Face continued drinking, one glass after another.

Feng Batian watched for a long time, and Big Scarred Face seemed fine.

Feng Batian: ??

Something didn’t feel right.

Had this guy possibly taken an antidote in advance?

But soon, Big Scarred Face finished the jug of wine.

Feng Batian had drunk nothing.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his chest, difficulty breathing, and a nauseatingly sweet taste in his throat. He spat out blood.

Big Scarred Face, who had been slightly tipsy, was startled to see Feng Batian like this. He sat up with a jolt and quickly stood up. “Chief, what’s wrong? Why are you coughing up blood?”

His lips had turned a blackish-purple. “Chief, you—you’re poisoned!”

Feng Batian felt intense discomfort, like being on fire. “You, Big Scarred Face, actually dared to poison me!”

Big Scarred Face, terrified, staggered back. “No, no, it wasn’t me. I didn’t do it.”

Feng Batian vomited another three mouthfuls of blood.

“Take this.”

A figure jumped through the window carrying a small bundle and stuffed something into Feng Batian’s arms.

Feng Batian looked down to see a dark, soft object—hair?

“My little sister is a lucky star. It’s said that a baby’s birth hair can ward off evil and poison. Her hair is blessed with good fortune, so with this blessing, the King of Hell won’t claim you.”

[Brother is great! He’s absolutely right! I won’t claim him, hahaha!]

Her birth hair contained her spiritual energy, which could not only ward off evil but also detoxify him.

[Now Feng Batian’s life is saved.]

Feng Batian looked up and, in the dim candlelight, saw the little girl on Di Zian’s back.

Her big eyes were blinking at him.

At that moment, he felt a warm, soothing sensation enveloping him.

Big Scarred Face was about to scream, but Di Zian covered his mouth. “Shh, don’t alert the killer outside. Unless you want to watch your Chief die.”

Big Scarred Face shook his head.

Feng Batian was stunned.

“It wasn’t Big Scarred Faced who poisoned me?”

Di Zian raised an eyebrow. “Of course not. Tonight, when I was taking my sister out for a walk, I saw Little Scarred Face leaving your room.”

Feng Batian was completely bewildered. “It was… Little Scarred Face?”

[Feng Batian is such an idiot. Usually, the brothers favor Little Scarred Face, but unfortunately, he’s a treacherous person, just waiting to take advantage of your illness to replace you and become the leader himself.]

Feng Batian shivered. The little princess was right.

The two brothers indeed favored Little Scarred Face more.

Mainly because Little Scarred Face had a sharp tongue and a quick mind.

“But wait, Big Scarred Face drank the poisoned wine too. Why is he fine, but I’m poisoned when I didn’t even drink the wine?”

Di Zian gave him a speechless look. “Are you dumb? Who told you the wine was poisoned?”

Feng Batian: ?

Not poisoned?

Then where was the poison?

Since learning he was going to be attacked tonight, he had been cautious and careful everywhere.

Even the wine brought by Big Scarred Face, he hadn’t touched.

Di Zian walked to the doorframe and pointed. “Look, it’s here.”

Feng Batian was devastated.

Big Scarred Face was dumbstruck. “So Little Scarred Face was so sinister, actually poisoning the door.”

Di Zian patted his chin and winked. “Little Scarred Face is quite clever. Of course, the poison should be placed in a frequently touched, unsuspecting place.”

Feng Batian’s face darkened.

He had opened the door countless times.

Fortunately, he was feeling better now. If it weren’t for the little princess and Seventh Prince, he would already be dead.

The consequences were truly unimaginable.

“I’ll be right back. You stay here and detoxify.” Di Zian put the little princess on his back and swiftly went to Little Scarred Face’s room.

At that moment, Little Scarred Face was standing in front of a figure dressed in black, with only their eyes showing.

“After tonight, you’ll be the new leader of Tiger Head Village, right?” the figure in black asked.

Little Scarred Face nodded. “Yes!”

“Good. I’ll move all the silver from the treasury later and inform the court that Tiger Head Village has submitted to them.

From now on, you and your subordinates will need to move to a different mountain and continue your work. Got it?”

“Got it! You’re really smart, young master. You get the silver, and we get our freedom, haha.”

He would become the leader of Tiger Head Village.

And continue being a bandit on a different mountain, hahaha.

“Bang!” Di Zian kicked open the door.

He immediately saw the figure in black and Little Scarred Face.

“Feigning submission to the court? You really have some nerve!” Di Zian coldly stared at them.

The figure in black clearly didn’t expect Di Zian to arrive and instinctively ran out the window.

Di Zian tried to chase but was blocked by Little Scarred Face.

Di Zian kicked Little Scarred Face.

Little Scarred Face had good martial skills, but he was struggling one-on-one with Di Zian.

The only reason he had managed to beat Di Zian before was that Big Scarred Face had helped.

Little Scarred Face cried out in pain.

[Brother! The silver! Go to the treasury and find the silver!]

Di Zian kicked Big Scarred Face and hurried towards the treasury.

He didn’t even know where the treasury was.

He ran into Big Scarred Face.

“Quick, take me to the treasury!”

Big Scarred Face was stunned. Only the chief and a few close subordinates knew the location of the treasury.

And there wasn’t just one treasury.

Seeing the Seventh Prince so anxious, Big Scarred Face didn’t hesitate and led the way.

After winding through several paths, they reached a treasury and found the door unlocked.

Di Zian rushed inside to find the figure in black packing bundles of silver.

“You thief!” Di Zian immediately started beating him.

The figure in black had small bundles on both shoulders.

Seeing Di Zian charging at him, he abandoned the silver and ran.

Di Zian grabbed the figure in black by the shoulder and tore at the face cloth.

The figure in black stepped on Di Zian’s foot.

Di Zian grimaced in pain.

Taking advantage of the moment, the figure in black pushed him aside and quickly jumped out the window and ran away.

“That was too damn scary! That kid is really kicking up a fuss.” After running a fair distance, the figure in black sat down on a hillside, removed the face cloth, revealing himself as the Third Prince.

I think the third prince might change because he’s reading his sister’s inner thoughts… Stay tuned for future chapters.
