He stared at the little raccoon in front of him, his mind only having one thought.
Su Jiang would be a shame to not open a zoo.
“Now, you’ll carry this bag, run over there, drop it, and run back as fast as you can.”
Su Jiang, holding the bag filled with explosives, put it on the raccoon’s back and asked with concern, “Is it too heavy? Should I make it lighter for you?”
“G-g-g!” No problem.
The little raccoon carrying the explosives bag, very humanely gave Su Jiang an OK sign.
Hua Qing watched from the side, dumbfounded.
Wasn’t it said that animals can’t become spirits after the founding of the nation?
What’s going on?
Nicholas Racoon had already been sent out by Su Jiang to scout the area.
Once the tent where the Feng family stored their food was found, the little raccoon, Nicholas, would immediately take action.
“Carrying a bomb on his back is insane!”
He stared at the raccoon, frowning.
“No, he’s so big, even if the Feng family members aren’t blind, they’ll see him, right?”
“Don’t worry, old man,” Su Jiang said calmly. “Racoon will drop the bomb and run. The Feng family will definitely come to check the bag. As soon as they get close, I’ll shoot them with one bullet, taking them all out in one go!”
Soon, Wangcai quietly returned, telling Su Jiang the location of their food tent.
This gluttonous squirrel, by the way, also brought back two bananas.
One for himself, and one for Racoon.
“G-g-g!” Thank you!
Racoon took the banana from Wangcai, didn’t even peel it, and ate it whole.
“Alright, let’s get started!”
Su Jiang clapped his hands and pointed to the distance.
“See that? The third tent from the left, that’s your target!”
“G-g-g!” No problem!
Racoon leaped forward, carrying the explosive bag, and headed straight for the Feng family’s tent.
Su Jiang watched Racoon’s back and secretly wiped away a tear.
He really…., I’m going to cry.
We’ve only known each other for less than two hours, and he’s already willing to carry out such a dangerous mission for me.
“Go for it, Racoon! When you get back, I’ll take you to eat the best food and drink the best drinks,” Su Jiang murmured.
Li Cai and Hua Qing sat aside, teasing Wangcai.
They didn’t try to persuade Su Jiang anymore. At this point, there was no turning back.
Moreover, this mission didn’t even require them.
Su Jiang took care of everything himself.
He looked at the Feng family in the distance, his face filled with pity.
This was the second time the Feng family had been blown up by Su Jiang, right?
The same method, the same approach.
The victims were still the Feng family, and the source of it all was still Su Jiang.
He clicked his tongue. He was starting to believe in fate.
Maybe Su Jiang was born to be the Feng family’s nemesis.
Well, and his own.
Su Jiang set up his sniper rifle on the windowsill, held his breath, and focused through the scope, watching Racoon’s movements.
After a long time, Racoon finally reached the Feng family’s camp.
“Hey, what’s that raccoon doing here?”
“Yeah, it’s even carrying a big bag. Did our people raise it?”
“It looks pretty cute, let’s catch it and pet it.”
“Hey, hey, hey, why is it running towards the food storage?”
Racoon straightened up slightly and looked around.
Then, under the astonished gazes of the Feng family members, it ran to the entrance of the food tent, quickly dropped its backpack, found a less crowded area, and quickly retreated, like it was running for its life.
Everyone was stunned to see the raccoon run away.
For a moment, they didn’t know whether to chase the raccoon or check the backpack.
“What the heck was that? Weird.”
One of the Feng family members stepped forward to check what was in the backpack.
But just as his hand was about to touch the backpack, a gunshot rang out from afar.
“Bang—”
A bullet ripped through the air, coming from a distance, and hit the backpack with pinpoint accuracy.
A blinding flash of light erupted before their eyes. Before they could react, a massive explosion roared.
“BOOM!”
The explosives detonated.
Several of the Feng family members, along with the food storage tent, were engulfed in flames.
“Damn it! It was explosives!”
“Put out the fire! Save the supplies!”
“It’s all food in there! Get in there, save as much as you can!”
“Find a water source, quickly!”
“…”
Everyone was in a frenzy. Feng Chengye and Rose were in a tent, discussing their next plan.
The explosion and the shouts of the Feng family members startled them. They instantly stood up and walked towards the tent entrance, wanting to see what had happened.
Feng Chengye reached out to lift the tent flap.
One of the Feng family members saw this and shouted urgently.
“Master, don’t come out! There’s a sniper!”
“Bang!”
Feng Chengye was startled by the words, and a bullet whizzed past him, grazing his nose and leaving a burning pain. Had it not been for the reminder from the Feng family member, causing Feng Chengye to pause for a moment, the bullet might have struck his temple.
For a moment, Feng Chengye broke out in a cold sweat. He had just walked through the gates of hell.
“Tsk, missed?”
Su Jiang, at the window on the second floor, clicked his tongue lightly. He was about to pull the trigger and fire a second shot.
Rose, who was behind Feng Chengye, had seen the trajectory of the bullet with perfect clarity. From it, she deduced the shooter’s location.
“Fall back!” Rose said, pulling Feng Chengye back into the tent. She then pulled out a sniper rifle of her own, rolled out of the tent, and crouched down. In an instant, she raised her sniper rifle and aimed it at Su Jiang’s location.
Without even looking through the scope, she pulled the trigger decisively.
“Bang!”
“Crash!”
The window next to Su Jiang shattered instantly, the bullet whizzing past his head!
“Bang!”
Su Jiang remained motionless and fired back. However, due to the impact of Rose’s shot, his shot was slightly off target in the haste.
His target was still Feng Chengye.
He didn’t have time to readjust his aim at Rose, so he could only rely on calculations and deduce Feng Chengye’s approximate location inside the tent.
After firing, Su Jiang didn’t even bother to check if the bullet had hit its target. He simply turned and ducked for cover.
As he turned, a bullet landed precisely where he had been standing just a moment ago.
It was Rose again!
With just her second shot, she was able to pinpoint Su Jiang’s location with perfect accuracy.
Looking at the bullet mark on the window sill, Su Jiang swallowed hard and shouted:
“Old Li, we can’t win! Retreat!”
He called out to the shaken Old Li and Hua Qing, leading the way downstairs and quickly evacuating.
Damn it!
Su Jiang couldn’t believe how strong that woman named Rose was.
Her first shot was a blind shot, without even looking through the scope!
It almost killed him, but luckily he was saved by sheer chance.
Her second shot, if Su Jiang hadn’t reacted quickly and taken cover, would have been fatal.
The 10th ranked mercenary, truly terrifying.
Su Jiang now understood the weight of that title.
Untouchable!
“Su Jiang, you old bastard!” Li Cai yelled as they ran. “I told you not to come, didn’t I?”
He had nearly peed himself when the bullet whizzed past his head.
“I didn’t know she was that strong either!”
Su Jiang, carrying his sniper rifle, ran at the front, not looking back. “Besides, we didn’t come away empty-handed this time. At least we cut off their food supply!”
“Big Brothers, please stop talking!” Hua Qing was close to tears from fear.
He held Wangcai in his arms and glanced back. A large group of Feng family members were charging towards them.
The explosion had made them the most obvious target.
