“Alaine, thank you for waiting.”

I called out to Alaine, who had been waiting for me all alone at the inn while I was reading in the library. This inn was located in the same town as the Continental Library. 

“Hm.”

After I passed out once and fell asleep for 3 hours, I continued to spend the next 4 days reading various books I could get my hands on. I didn’t get to find any book that could be useful though. I was hoping I could find a book about people being transported here from another world or some similar myth about that but I couldn’t find anything close to it. 

There was no angel either. I didn’t find any other story about a god except that one story about an evil god being defeated by a hero. Apparently the general concept about god was that the hero from ancient time died and became a god. 

“Did you find any useful books?”

“Hmm… I wonder? I don’t think so.”

I answered Alaine’s question. 

“I couldn’t find anything that has a direct relation to me but I did find a few things that intrigued me for a bit.”

“Hm. So you will start to find another thing from there on?”

“Yeah. I’m thinking of doing that. I was thinking of visiting some interesting places while going toward the Super Civilization Ancient Ruins. Are you fine with it, Alaine?”

“Yeah. I don’t mind. For me, it’s good enough as long as I get to be with Zero.”

“I see. Thank you.”

“……Hm?”

I started to walk but on the other hand, Alaine didn’t move. There was a short distance between Alaine and I because of that. 

“…. Would you like to take a look around the town for a bit?”

Alaine opened her mouth. 

“Huh?”

“No, I mean, this town was created by the elves, a race with a long lifespan so… The townscape is pretty peculiar. I was thinking that this town might be pretty interesting to take a look around…”

…. Sightseeing, huh. 

Which reminded me, I had never done anything like that even though I was in another world.

……..That’s right! Even though this is an isekai! There is so much scenery and buildings that I won’t be able to see on Earth! Just why am I only finding pleasure in fighting?? 

“Yeah. Let’s do it.”

I nodded at Alaine’s suggestion.

“I see!’

In response to that, Alaine started to walk with a happy smile on her face. 

“That’s right. First of all….”

I started to follow Alaine who was walking in front excitedly. 

A town built by the elves. It was a town that was abundant with nature. As a nature lover, I personally thought this town was both comfortable and beautiful. It was such a nice town that I started thinking of moving and living here permanently after I solved this strange constitution of mine. 

“…………. So what do you think?”

Alaine asked me in a pretty low voice. 

“Yeah. It’s a nice town. I really had fun. I think we should also go sightseeing a lot when we go to other places.”

“Hm!”

In response to my answer, Alaine started to nod her head happily, just like a child who got praised.

T/N: Ah~ So adorable! I’m happy even though Alaine needs to take the first step, Zero is quick on the uptake. He’s just too engrossed with his condition to think about love but he’s not retar- I mean, he’s not dense that he’d just ignore Alaine.
