While I was still wondering what ‘Formation C’ was, Alaine already started moving. Activagin her Heavenly Sword, Alaine slashed the evil god. 

“…. Eiyah!!”

I stopped thinking about it and decided to just go assist Alaine who suddenly rushed in. I made full use of magic sword and ritual tools to assist with Alaine’s Heavenly Sword attack. In response, the evil god floated the stone shards freely, repelling our attack with it. 

“…..Magic sword.”

The evil god murmured, the sound coming from that evil god was like a noise that made everyone who heard it suffering from headache. 

And then, a magic sword appeared in front of the evil god.

“Huh?”

My mouth was gaping open dumbfoundedly upon seeing that. A magic sword appeared in front of the evil god and in addition to that, that evil god’s magic sword was more powerful than the magic sword I summoned. 

“……Bring them down.”

“Tch….”

Accompanied by the repulsive noise-like voice, the magic sword swung at us. Alaine blocked it with her Heavenly Sword. 

Alaine’s Heavenly Sword clashed with the evil god’s magic sword. 

“It’s not enough!”

However, no matter how strong the evil god’s magic sword was, it was still no match against Alaine’s Heavenly Sword. Alaine’s Heavenly Sword was beyond the normal standard after all. 

“I still have some more to go, you know!”

Wielding her Heavenly Sword, Alaine overwhelmed the evil god with her power. The tide turned into a one-sided battle. 

“………And what should I do?”

I muttered to myself as I stared at them fighting tremendously. There was nothing more I could do at this point. I used enhancement magic on Alaine to support her but…. That was all the things I could do for her now. 

If I added my own magic sword and ritual tools into the equation, I’d only become a hindrance for Alaine. Although I could force my way through into the fight… I doubt I could cooperate well with Alaine. We were simply just too strong. 

“Phew…”

And so, I decided to sit back and relax while watching the two of them fight. 

There’s no need for me to come and help her myself, right? Yeah. 

Alaine kicked the ground and the air, moving freely as she rushed to attack the evil god. The evil god was somehow able to block all her attacks using the combination of the stone shards and magic sword. 

The exchange between blows kept on going endlessly. 

“Hoam….”

I started to yawn as I had nothing to do but to sit back and watch them. 

“……Move.”

The evil god muttered something with its repulsive noise-like voice again. 

“What does it mean?”

Move.

I tilted my head to the side at the evil god’s word. 

CRUMBLE CRUMBLE CRUMBLE…

The whole cave started shaking. 

“Huh? What?”

“Wha-What is it?”

Sploch.

A clot of blood was dripping, followed by another clot of blood. The sound of a chunk of flesh falling down could be heard 9 times. 

“…..So you guys are the ones who’re moving.”

A chunk of flesh falling. That sound belonged to the nine women…. Who had become a mass of rotting flesh tied to the cross pillar.
