The Billionaire’s Blind Bride
The Billionaire’s Blind Bride Chapter 6

Chapter 6 : Mr.’s Comfort

Mu Qianqian couldn’t see anyone, but she heard the sound of a door opening and footsteps.

“I’ll hang up now and talk to you later.”

“Okay.”

After hanging up, Li Siyu remembered a family named Fu.

However, this Fu was not the same as the “Fu” that Mu Qianqian mentioned.

The Fu family is a top-tier, multi-billionaire aristocratic clan. Many people can’t even get a chance to meet one of the influential members. Qianqian is just an ordinary girl and wouldn’t have the opportunity to interact with them.

She must be overthinking it.

In the hospital room.

After hanging up the phone, Mu Qianqian lifted the corners of her mouth into a gentle smile. “Sir Fu, you’re here.”

This surprised Fu Sichan a little. “How did you know it was me?”

“I can recognize your footsteps,” Mu Qianqian explained sweetly.

Fu Sichan’s lips curved slightly.

She seemed a bit silly, but her ears were sharp.

Fu Sichan informed her, “I came to tell you that the overseas doctor has been scheduled, and will come in a few days to perform your surgery. After the surgery, you will be able to be discharged.”

Mu Qianqian’s heart skipped with excitement. “Sir, after the surgery, will I be able to regain my eyesight?”

“You won’t recover immediately, it will take some time for the recovery.”

This news was enough to make Mu Qianqian so happy she wanted to jump up.

It’s wonderful she would be able to see again. The azure sky, the green trees, and the warm, bright sun… all would be back in her view.

Mu Qianqian closed her eyes, and tears started to flow uncontrollably.

Sitting on the hospital bed, her face was pale, and her small, frail body looked pitiful as she cried.

Fu Sichan looked at her steadily, a hint of helplessness crossing his heart.

Why is she so emotional?

He wasn’t fond of overly fragile women, they were troublesome.

Mu Qianqian remembered something and hesitated before speaking, “Sir, after I’m discharged, I won’t have a place to stay.”

“We’re married now, so of course you can stay with me.”

Fu Sichan had already bought a house in a neighborhood near her school, so she could move in there.

If she behaved herself, she could keep the title of Mrs. Fu for as long as she wanted.

But if she didn’t, he wouldn’t hesitate to be ruthless.

“Thank you,” Mu Qianqian said gratefully, then suddenly thought of a question. “Sir, are we… going to live together?”

Fu Sichan gave a half-smile. “What do you think, Mrs. Fu?”

Mu Qianqian realized she had asked a foolish question.

They were married if they didn’t live together, would they be separated?

Well, living together was better than going back to her old home.

The thought of cohabitating with a stranger under the same roof made Mu Qianqian’s face flush with heat.

She tightened her grip on the blanket in front of her, feeling both nervous and a little excited, her heart racing.

“What are you thinking about?” Fu Sichan interrupted her thoughts.

Mu Qianqian quickly said, “Nothing, nothing.”

If he knew what she was thinking, he would definitely laugh at her.

She still didn’t know what her husband looked like and hoped he wouldn’t be too unattractive.

Mu Qianqian was quite particular about appearances.

“Sir, I’d like to ask you for a favor.”

“Speak.”

“Because of the car accident, I missed the deadline to report to school. The school requires my direct relatives to handle the paperwork, or they’ll cancel my enrollment.”

Fu Sichan, quick-witted and responsive, said, “You want me to handle it for you?”

“Yes. My family doesn’t support my attending university. If they find out, they’ll definitely tell the school to cancel my enrollment immediately.”

Her family only wanted to marry her off quickly and use her dowry to buy a car and a house for her younger brother.

Fu Sichan responded with a simple “Mm,” “I’ll take care of it.”

After leaving the hospital room, he called his assistant to handle the matter.

Fu Sichan didn’t need to go to the university himself, notifying his assistant to handle it was sufficient.

After all, the Fu Group donated generously to various universities every year, and the finance university Mu Qianqian attended had several buildings named after the Fu Group.

The principal would not refuse his request.

While speaking with his assistant, the assistant hesitated for a moment but eventually mentioned the issue with the car.

Fu Sichan’s expression darkened, “I see.”

He knew Mu Qianqian’s situation was difficult, but he hadn’t expected it to be so dire at home.

To marry a young college student to a forty-five-year-old cripple just for the dowry money, what were her family thinking?

Did such parents even exist?

No wonder the girl was so fragile and prone to tears, it turned out she had endured such a life before.

“Mr. Fu, the Madam…”

Fu Sichan frowned and coldly interrupted, “She’s not yet a member of the Fu family. Don’t let me hear that title again.”

The marriage had been arranged by the elders, and Fu Sichan himself was unwilling.

He didn’t want to hear the title “Mrs. Fu” from others.

“Yes! Should I refer to her as ‘Miss Mu’ in the future?”

“Mm.” Fu Sichan nodded in agreement.

The Fu family had brought the most advanced medical team from abroad and flew them to Bei City on a private plane.

Before Mu Qianqian was wheeled into the operating room, she anxiously clutched Fu Sichan’s sleeve, her voice trembling like a frightened animal, “Sir Fu, I’m scared…”

Everyone present was stunned by her audacity.

Fu Sichan had a cleanliness obsession and disliked women coming close. Countless models and celebrities had tried to seduce him in the past, but even if they stood naked in front of him, they were ruthlessly thrown out.

Those who were not honest ended up being blacklisted.

Who was this young girl, daring enough to grab Fu Sichan’s sleeve?

Everyone thought Fu Sichan would surely fling her away without mercy, but to their surprise, he neither pulled away her hand nor scolded her harshly.

The usually decisive and terse heir of the Fu family was unexpectedly comforting her, saying, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here.”

The sun must have risen in the west!

Mr. Fu actually comforted someone, and it was a woman.

Everyone wondered, was this really their Mr. Fu?

The doctor wheeled Mu Qianqian into the operating room, and a nurse came out. “Mr. Fu, we need Miss Mu’s family member to sign the consent form.”

“I’ll do it,” Fu Sichan said firmly.

“But you’re not her direct relative, so legally you cannot sign on her behalf.”

Fu Sichan gave the nurse a cold glare that made her shiver and not dare to question further.

She returned to the operating room and learned from the supervisor that Mr. Fu was indeed a direct relative of Miss Mu.

“They don’t share the same surname. What kind of relative are they?”

The supervisor was evasive. “That’s not something you need to know. Just focus on preparing for the surgery.”

The surgery lasted four hours.

When Mu Qianqian was wheeled out of the operating room, her eyes were covered with a white bandage. Her small face, barely larger than a palm, was almost completely covered by the bandage, leaving only her delicate nose and sharp chin visible.

It seemed she had been asleep for a long time. Upon waking, the world before her was no longer dark, but instead illuminated with faint light.

Although the light was filtered through the bandage, she could still sense its presence, casting a soft glow into her vision.

“I can see!” Mu Qianqian said joyfully.

Fu Sichan’s voice came from above her, “The bandage cannot be removed yet.”

Mu Qianqian then realized that Sir Fu was also in her room.

“Sir, I didn’t cry at all during the surgery. Am I very brave?”

Fu Sichan’s lips curved into a smile. “Yes, you are. So, I want to give you a gift.”
