Chapter 64: Wanted to Bully Her
The corn cob that Miss Lu Xiaoxi had eaten all the way was finally finished.
When she threw it away, she did not forget to lick her lips; otherwise, it would be sticky.
Upon arriving at the classroom, it just so happened that class was about to start.
No matter which school it was, the majority of students who liked to sit in the back row occupied most of the seats, while Li Mu and Lu Xiaoxi found a spot in the middle.
In the computer room, wanting to study, the location was not very important; as long as they followed the class PPT and paid attention to the teacher’s lecture, it did not matter where they sat.
Li Mu helped Lu Xiaoxi plug in the power and entered her password before it was his turn.
“You must have been possessed,” Lu Xiaoxi felt that Li Mu was unusually gentle, which made her a bit uncomfortable.
“If I were really possessed, the first thing I would do is eat you.”
“Why?”
“I love eating pork.”
“Don’t act crazy here…”
That familiar taste was back; the familiar Li Mu had returned.
They sat by the wall, with not many people around, and spoke in hushed tones, not disturbing others.
During class, the classroom was sometimes quiet and sometimes noisy.
Lu Xiaoxi was listening very seriously, but she was a bit clumsy with the computer; she needed to highlight key points on the PPT, and not knowing how to operate it, she cast a pitiful glance at Li Mu.
Li Mu was also listening to the class and noticed the weak gaze from the small girl. He shifted his body towards her, turned her computer to face him, and taught her how to operate it.
After much effort, she finally learned how to make notes and type on the PPT, but she encountered another problem.
Her typing speed was too slow!
University was different from middle school; handwritten notes were not suitable for university, especially in a digital media major that required computer operation.
She had not used a computer much, and it took her half a minute just to type the name of a TV show, so naturally, her note-taking speed could not keep up.
“Li Mu, are you listening carefully?” Lu Xiaoxi lowered her head and tugged at his clothes, speaking in a voice only the two of them could hear.
“Mm.”
“Take notes; I can’t keep up with typing. You take notes, and I’ll copy yours when I get back.”
“We’re discussing some conceptual issues now; most of our exam content is practical, so there’s no need to take notes.”
“Really? But you just taught me.”
“You’ll have to learn it sooner or later,” Li Mu smiled.
He needed to find a time to give Lu Xiaoxi a crash course on basic computer operations; this major would require learning professional software later on, with various professional terms emerging one after another. If she was not familiar with computers by then, studying would be very difficult.
Time quietly passed.
He had listened to half of the class.
In the second half of the class, he was dozing off.
Last night, he had too many worries and could not sleep at all; the accumulated drowsiness was now bursting forth, and he wanted to sleep, which he could not resist.
He wanted to lay his head on the desk to sleep, but every time he was about to doze off, Lu Xiaoxi would quietly poke him.
“Not listening to class?”
“Sleepy, just a little nap.”
“If I were you, I would listen to class first, then go back to sleep in the afternoon. How can you sleep comfortably here?” Lu Xiaoxi mumbled.
“You have a point,” Li Mu took a deep breath, straightened his back, and with a series of smooth actions, he felt much more awake.
“Let me see your glasses; I haven’t tried them yet.”
“What do you want to try them for?” Lu Xiaoxi took out her glasses case from her small bag and opened it for him.
The small girl’s glasses were relatively small, with large lenses, and when Li Mu put them on, he felt a bit tight around his ears.
Lu Xiaoxi’s degree of nearsightedness had not yet reached a level that affected her daily life, and her glasses were not very strong either. Nevertheless, everything still looked a bit blurry to Li Mu.
“I know why you don’t wear glasses all the time,” Li Mu returned the glasses to her.
“The first time you wear glasses, it’s like this; you get used to it after wearing them for a while,” Lu Xiaoxi covered her mouth and giggled, “You looked like a penguin just now; it was so silly.”
“Little pig, don’t talk; listen to the class.”
“?” How did it come to Li Mu reminding her to pay attention in class?
After a class ended.
Li Mu had listened to the class but was also about to fall asleep.
He was so sleepy in the classroom, but once he stepped out, he didn’t know how it happened, but he was no longer sleepy.
Perhaps this was the norm for most students nowadays.
“What are we having for lunch?” Lu Xiaoxi looked up at him.
“Having pork.”
“Eat you?” Lu Xiaoxi blurted out.
Suddenly realizing that this sentence had a double meaning, she turned her head and quietly blushed.
How could such words come out of her mouth?
“You are the little pig.”
“You are also a pig.”
“You’ve learned to be bad; how can you give others nicknames?” Li Mu poked her head with his finger.
“You still have the nerve to say that; when you were little, you called me Little Pig Lu because you saw how much I ate. How long has it been? Let me count; it started in kindergarten!”
“Uh, heh heh.”
“Heh you, let’s have lunch; you treat me.”
Lu Xiaoxi’s little proud look was incredibly cute.
Li Mu wanted to pat her head and mess up her hair like in those anime shows.
He felt a bit like bullying her.
Li Mu knew that he had developed some indescribable feelings for Lu Xiaoxi.
Clearly, two months ago, they were still neighbors who could not stand each other.
Although they still bickered now, they were at least talking every day.
He liked the current life.
His and Lu Xiaoxi’s bickering only proved that their relationship was better than anyone else’s.
It was just an unspoken understanding.
“What are you daydreaming about?” Lu Xiaoxi waved her hand in front of him.
This guy was talking and suddenly ignored her; was he plotting something bad again?
The small girl quietly put her hands in her pockets, not giving him any chance.
“What were we talking about just now?” Li Mu’s messy thoughts were interrupted, and he came back to his senses.
“You just said you would treat me to a big meal.”
“Really?”
“Mm mm!” Lu Xiaoxi nodded vigorously.
“Do you think I’m stupid? I canβt forget a conversation from just half a minute ago,” Li Mu poked her glasses frame.
“I don’t care; anyway, you have to treat me to something to eat.” Lu Xiaoxi pouted and put away her glasses.
Li Mu nodded.
Lu Xiaoxi was now no different from a spoiled child.
He was completely taken in by this.
