Chapter 444: A Threesome Needs…
Ye Wenxin moved closer to Fairy Fengya, catching a faint whiff of smoke. Despite having just eaten rabbit meat, the fragrance on Fairy Fengya’s body was far richer than the scent of the rabbit meat itself. Ye Wenxin held her in place, intending to kiss those lips she had not touched in a long time.
Fairy Fengya frowned slightly and turned her head away, as if unwilling to continue doing this with Ye Wenxin.
Perhaps Fairy Fengya had finally developed human-like awareness, and realized that Ye Wenxin’s actions had long crossed the line. Or maybe, she had already formed this kind of new relationship with someone else.
Ye Wenxin stood in place awkwardly, and ended up obediently withdrawing her hand, joking: “Looks like Great-Grandma stepped in just in time.”
Fairy Fengya stared at her, but then said, “I need to rinse my mouth.”
The sudden shift in tone pulled Ye Wenxin’s heart from hell back into heaven. She showed a delighted expression but quickly realized she probably looked too happy, so she added, “Then go ahead.”
Fairy Fengya took out an exquisite bottle from her bag of holding, and Ye Wenxin felt a pang in her heart upon seeing it. Although she wasn’t the one who had given it to Fairy Fengya, she knew the value of the water inside.
It was true amrita1, with the power to purify all things. It was a resource that even the Southern Dipper Temple regarded as rare and precious. As Fairy Fengya drank the water, a sweet fragrance seemed to waft from her body.
Once finished, Fairy Fengya unhurriedly put the bottle away. A hesitant moment later, she stretched out her arms a little. As if to make up for the awkwardness she had caused by rejecting Ye Wenxin earlier, Fairy Fengya was showing a hint of initiative this time.
Ye Wenxin hesitated briefly, but seeing Fairy Fengya take the lead, she leaned in.
Near the still burning fire, Ye Wenxin felt herself being ignited as soon as she touched Fairy Fengya. Fairy Fengya accepted it indifferently, her eyes filled with a calmness that words could not describe, as if she were merely fulfilling a mission and passively enduring Ye Wenxin’s advances.
Perhaps she was doing it for her Tribulation of Emotions, or she found it unnecessary to resist. Regardless of the reason, Fairy Fengya didn’t harbor any special feelings for Ye Wenxin.
Ye Wenxin suddenly had a wild idea. She wanted to use the peach blossom chains to bind Fairy Fengya. With the world’s number one female lead at her side, Ye Wenxin could avoid several millennia of effort.
As these dark thoughts formed in her mind, the peach blossom chains surged aggressively, only for the golden phoenix to shatter them into peach blossoms. Clearly, Ye Wenxin’s luck was no match for Fairy Fengya’s.
Ye Wenxin sighed inwardly, and then felt Fairy Fengya’s tongue finally beginning to move. It both surprised and frightened her. She abruptly broke the kiss, and asked, “You’re not doing this kind of thing with Long Qing’er every day now, are you?”
Ye Wenxin felt that Fairy Fengya’s movements were becoming a bit more skilled. She worried that someone might be competing with her for Fairy Fengya’s resources.
Fairy Fengya shook her head in confusion. “Only with you.”
This answer put Ye Wenxin in high spirits, and she smiled. “Is it because I’m special?”
Fairy Fengya shook her head. “No.”
She was as straightforward as ever. Ye Wenxin was annoyed but continued to press, “Then what’s the reason?”
Fairy Fengya replied without hesitation, “You can help me through the Tribulation of Emotions.”
There were countless times Ye Wenxin wanted to pry open Fairy Fengya’s mind, to see if she was actually made of stone. Her bluntness had reached a point of exasperation for Ye Wenxin.
Seeing that Fairy Fengya was being so compliant, Ye Wenxin’s mind started turning with ideas, and she said, “Then let’s move on to the next step.”
She was full of boundless interest in the next possible development. However, Fairy Fengya seemed to have done something, and in the blink of an eye, she had already distanced herself, saying calmly, “Great-Grandmother said no.”
Ye Wenxin had mixed feelings. If it weren’t for Great-Grandma’s presence, Ye Wenxin might have been able to completely deceive Fairy Fengya. But it was precisely because of Great-Grandma that Fairy Fengya was not so easily tricked, and this gave Ye Wenxin a new idea.
If she could continue to sow discord and create a rift between Fairy Fengya and Great-Grandma, might Fairy Fengya then be less under Great-Grandma’s control, and more susceptible to her own manipulation?
With this new idea forming in her mind, Ye Wenxin smiled nonchalantly and continued roasting the rabbit meat…
As night fell, the two finally returned. Ye Wenxin found herself subjected to another round of Jin Xiaoqin’s loving discipline, as she was punished to transcribe books. Ye Wenxin felt miserable, thinking that Jin Xiaoqin was truly the epitome of impartiality. Despite the affair going on between them, she could still impose punishment on Ye Wenxin without blinking an eye.
Meanwhile, Long Qing’er was also lamenting about her master, Fairy Fengya.
Fairy Fengya maintained a meditative state, only offering brief responses. She didn’t seem to be taking in any of Long Qing’er’s words, though she would occasionally cast a few glances in Ye Wenxin’s direction.
It was unclear whether Ye Wenxin’s luck had led her to become the key to helping Fairy Fengya overcome her tribulation, which might explain Fairy Fengya’s tolerance for her audacity. Without this connection, given Ye Wenxin’s behavior from the beginning until now, Fairy Fengya would have killed her thousands of times over.
A little dread rose at the thought, distracting Ye Wenxin as she was transcribing the Azure Wings Sect’s rules. Fortunately, Jin Xiaoqin was scheduled for a patrol later that night, and didn’t keep supervising Ye Wenxin. Jin Xiaoqin gave her repeated warnings before leaving, and Gu Xiangsi, who had been waiting at the side, immediately rushed over to help Ye Wenxin finish transcribing the rest of the sect rules.
“Oh, and one more thing…” Jin Xiaoqin, seemingly remembering something, re-entered the room, only to find Gu Xiangsi had transformed into a blur of light as she raced back into the nearby chair. The person who had just rushed to Ye Wenxin’s side seemed like a mere illusion.
“Master, is there anything else?” Gu Xiangsi displayed a docile expression that made Ye Wenxin smile. However, knowing Jin Xiaoqin’s usual behavior, Ye Wenxin didn’t dare to be too carefree, lest her fingers end up crippled on some quiet, late night.
“Wenxin, you should sleep in my quarters tonight.” Jin Xiaoqin heavily hinted at Ye Wenxin, leaving Ye Wenxin speechless. She finally understood what Ghost Mother might have been thinking while she was torturing her.
Ye Wenxin now found herself in a similar struggle under Jin Xiaoqin, who was in her sexual peak. Although Jin Xiaoqin’s tone was quite normal, it seemed as if she was saying, ‘When I come back from my patrol later tonight, we’ll continue our battle.’
“Thank you for your kind offer, Master, but I’ll just squeeze in with Senior Sister Xiangsi.” Ye Wenxin resisted with every fibre of her being.
Jin Xiaoqin appeared slightly displeased but raised an eyebrow and said, “Your senior sister is sharing a bed with Miss Cuihua. It might be too cramped for three people.”
