Chapter 14 Concealer

Su Yu was stunned for a moment, quickly took out her phone, and lowered her head to check her neck.

Damn it, she forgot to bring the concealer.

Su Yu covered her neck, “Yao Jie, do you have a cushion or foundation with you?”

She didn’t bring hers.

“Yes, I’ll go get it for you,” Chu Yao left the front desk and went to the office to get the cushion for Su Yu.

Fortunately, the other colleagues had not yet woken up from their lunch break, or it would have been embarrassing if they saw it.

Su Yu was in the bathroom, covering the blemish on her neck in front of the mirror, reflecting the kiss marks on her neck.

The kiss marks on her neck were not very deep but quite conspicuous.

Su Yu applied several layers of cushion to barely cover the kiss marks on her neck.

Coincidentally, Chu Yao came in to use the restroom. Su Yu glanced at Chu Yao through the mirror and sighed, “Yao Jie, this cushion doesn’t conceal well. I had to apply several layers to cover it up.”

Su Yu put back her cushion, placed it on the sink, and prepared to wash her hands.

Chu Yao pulled up her skirt and sat down, her voice coming from the restroom, “I don’t have any flaws on my face, why do I need concealer? By the way, have you started dating? When did it happen?”

“Do you believe me if I say I was bitten by a mosquito?” Su Yu replied while drying her hands.

Chu Yao opened the restroom door, walked out, and only spoke after turning on the tap, “I don’t believe it. Mosquitoes aren’t that powerful to make you look so disheveled from just one bite.” Chu Yao finished washing her hands, approached Su Yu’s neck, and suddenly added, “My husband kisses me the same way.”

Su Yu instinctively took a step back, avoiding Chu Yao’s gaze.

Chu Yao didn’t mind and jokingly said to Su Yu, “We’re all adults here, and I’m experienced. I understand, you don’t need to be shy, I won’t tell anyone.”

Since Chu Yao put it that way, Su Yu couldn’t deny it. She returned the cushion to Chu Yao, “It’s just the beginning, maybe I was too enthusiastic.”

She didn’t tell Chu Yao about her relationship with Shen Yan, after all, they were just friends with benefits at this point.

Chu Yao tactfully didn’t continue the topic, “Didn’t you say Mr. Chen was coming to review the model rooms today?”

As they talked, they walked towards the front desk.

Whenever Mr. Chen was mentioned, Su Yu couldn’t help but roll her eyes, feeling helpless, “I can’t believe him. He drank, looked at the rooms twice and still didn’t understand. Today will be the third time.”

As Su Yu finished speaking, she saw Mr. Chen, who was drunk yesterday, entering the sales office with another woman.

The woman looked to be around forty, dressed elegantly, with exquisite makeup on her face, and her hair tied low, exuding a special charm.

Su Yu’s first reaction was that this woman was probably Mr. Chen’s lover.

“Yao Jie, he’s here, I won’t talk to you for now,” Su Yu whispered to Chu Yao, quickly putting on a professional smile and approaching Mr. Chen, “Mr. Chen, didn’t you say you were coming at three-thirty? It’s not even three yet, why are you here early?”

Mr. Chen: “My wife wanted to come early to see. We have to fly back to the northern city earlier this afternoon.”

With one sentence, Mr. Chen revealed the identity of the woman next to him.

Su Yu thought to herself, this woman is his wife? She didn’t look like it at all.

Su Yu’s gaze fell on Mr. Chen’s wife. The woman looked dignified and elegant, quite beautiful, with well-maintained skin. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say she was in her thirties.

After quickly assessing Mr. Chen’s wife, Su Yu smiled and said, “Mr. Chen, your wife is really beautiful. You’re lucky.”

Upon hearing this, Mr. Chen’s wife showed a gentle smile, “Thank you.”

Mr. Chen also smiled satisfactorily, “My wife wants a unit with the same layout as the one I saw yesterday, but on the opposite side.”

Su Yu didn’t expect Mr. Chen to come and buy another unit today, feeling pleasantly surprised.

Another sale.

Su Yu turned her attention to Mr. Chen’s wife and praised her, “Mrs. Chen, you have a unique taste. This layout is our best-selling one. Would you like to go directly to see the model room, or should I explain it to you first?”

Mrs. Chen shook her head, “No need for explanations. I’ve already understood the location. Just take me to see the model room. We have to catch a flight later.”

“Sure.”

After viewing the entire model room, Mrs. Chen was very satisfied.

It was Mr. Chen who behaved exceptionally well today, following all of Mrs. Chen’s arrangements.

He was completely different from the man who had flirted with her after drinking yesterday.

Su Yu silently criticized in her heart, men are so fickle, acting serious in front of their wives but behaving like rogues behind their backs with other women.

Everything went smoothly with the house viewing today. After seeing off Mr. and Mrs. Chen, Su Yu returned to the front desk with the paperwork and started entering data on the computer.

After taking a sip of water, Chu Yao approached, “Another sale?”

“Yes, I’ve been lucky today,” Su Yu replied with a smile.

Chu Yao glanced at Su Yu’s paperwork and couldn’t help but envy, “Impressive, you’ve closed another big deal. You’re the sales champion, no doubt.” Chu Yao put down her paperwork and continued, “I remember you’ve closed about ten units this month, right?”

“It’s twelve now. I can’t sell many more units. There are hardly any left,” Su Yu said as she carefully checked the data.

Chu Yao patted her on the shoulder, “That’s great. Some of them have only sold four or five units in a month, some not even three. Keep up the good work.”

“Alright, Yao Jie, I need to check the data.”

Su Yu focused on her work, and Chu Yao didn’t disturb her further, turning to chat with other colleagues.

As the end of the workday approached, Su Yu finished organizing the recent data into a spreadsheet. She stretched and stood up, “Xiao Zhao, where’s Yao Jie?”

Xiao Zhao happened to pass by her, heard Su Yu’s question, stopped, turned around, and replied, “She seemed to have gone to the construction site just now. I saw her with a hat.”

Su Yu nodded, “That’s fine.”

With that, she began to tidy up her desk.

They left work early today as Chu Yao had something to do.

At a traffic light, Su Yu lightly pressed the accelerator, and the car smoothly came to a stop.

As soon as she parked, her phone rang at the right time.

Su Yu glanced at the caller ID, hesitated for a few seconds, then swiped to answer the call.

Su Yu coldly asked, “What do you want?”
