“Sis, are you okay?” Su Jinhang’s clean voice came through, “I don’t have class this afternoon, can I come see you?”

There was a clear sense of urgency in the boy’s voice.

He had just seen the video and immediately called Su Yu.

“I’m fine, you don’t need to come see me. I’ll go see you tonight, I’ll take you out to eat.” Su Yu said.

Su Jinhang asked, “So I wait for you at school?”

Su Yu: “Yeah, at the school gate, wait for me at six.”

Su Jinhang: “Okay.”

Su Yu ended her chat with Su Jinhang, got up, took off her makeup from the morning, and casually tied her hair into a bun. Without makeup, her face looked pure and elegant.

After eating takeout, she sat and watched a drama for a while. At five o’clock, she got up, tidied up a bit, and went out to school to find Su Jinhang.

Su Jinhang had been admitted to a university in Haicheng for high school. He was now a sophomore, majoring in computer science. He was also a brilliant student.

When Su Yu reached the entrance of Haicheng University, Su Jinhang just happened to be walking out with his classmates, laughing and talking. He was looking towards her.

He ran over.

Looking at the sunny boy in front of her, wearing a white undershirt and black loose straight-leg pants, Su Yu’s lips curved into a smile. He was growing taller and taller.

She reached out and touched Su Jinhang’s head, “Did you grow taller again?”

“Of course, I’m 6’1″ now.”

Su Jinhang raised his arm and gestured at his height, saying seriously.

He was twenty years old this year, five years younger than Su Yu.

Su Yu laughed, “Yes, yes, you can definitely grow to 6’3″.”

The siblings chatted and laughed as they got into the car and went to a restaurant near Haicheng University.

While waiting for the food, Su Yu asked, “Have you been attending classes properly lately? You wouldn’t be using class time to make extra money again, would you?”

Su Jinhang pursed his lips, lowered his eyes, and reached for the tea to drink, “No, I’ve been attending classes properly.”

Su Jinhang looked up, “Sis, I’m an adult now, don’t give me any more money. You’ve always wanted to buy an apartment, save your money. I’m capable of supporting myself.”

Hearing Su Jinhang’s words, a warm current surged through Su Yu’s heart.

She had mentioned this to Su Jinhang casually before, and he still remembered, it seemed that she hadn’t loved him in vain.

“You’re still in school…”

Su Jinhang interrupted Su Yu, “And don’t send money to Mom either. You send it to her, it’s all like throwing money into the sea. It’s good that she doesn’t have money, it can help her quit her mahjong addiction.”

“Gu Bei, look at that couple outside, they’re pretty good-looking.” Jiang Chuan looked at the couple coming out of a clothing store through the transparent glass of the restaurant.

Gu Bei followed Jiang Chuan’s gaze, his handsome eyebrows raised, “It looks like they’re brother and sister?”

Jiang Chuan chuckled, “Maybe they’re in a brother-sister relationship. By the way, that girl is not bad either.”

Gu Bei took a closer look and nodded in agreement, “Nice legs.”

“More than nice, they’re long.”

After a while, Gu Bei and Jiang Chuan’s conversation became more and more vulgar, more and more outrageous.

Su Yu sent Su Jinhang back to school. Before leaving, Su Yu reminded him again, “Remember what I said, don’t waste class time making extra money outside, if you need money, tell your sister.”

Su Jinhang nodded obediently, “Got it, drive carefully on the way back.”

Su Yu waved with a smile and drove away.

Su Jinhang watched her car disappear around the corner before turning around with his things and entering the school.

The elevator door opened. As soon as Su Yu stepped out of the elevator, she saw a few short, fat men standing at her door.

They were the same men from the New World Center last night.

The sound of the elevator door opening caught the attention of the few men.

“Dog Brother, that bitch is back!” One of the men with a tattoo suddenly yelled.

A flash of panic crossed Su Yu’s face. She quickly retreated back into the elevator and quickly pressed the button for the first floor. The elevator door closed, blocking the men outside.

Seeing the elevator door close, the men cursed and shouted obscenities.

They quickly ran to the stairwell and chased after her.

Inside the elevator, Su Yu’s heart was pounding wildly.

Her mind raced. Weren’t these men taken away by the police last night? How did they end up at her door today?

Not daring to think too much, Su Yu quickly made a WeChat voice call to Shen Yan.

At this critical moment, Shen Yan didn’t answer.

For some reason, the person she instinctively called was him.

Those men were supposed to be arrested by the police, but now they were released. Su Yu was already beginning to distrust the police.

“Ding!”

The elevator reached the first floor. Su Yu immediately rushed out. She turned her head and saw the men running down the stairs as well.

It was too late for her to get to the car. The security guard at the entrance was an old man. If she went to him for help, she might implicate the old man. Su Yu had no choice but to grit her teeth and run outside the apartment building. There was a small night market to the left. She thought that if she ran to a crowded place, she would be fine.

Running on the dimly lit road outside the apartment building, Su Yu ran while looking back, scared. The men behind her didn’t stop, they were still relentlessly chasing after her.

They were also cursing and yelling all sorts of nasty things, “You stinking bitch, don’t let me catch you, or I’ll kill you!”

Logically speaking, the pace of men and women is different, but the men were fat and not tall, while Su Yu had long legs and was quite fast. The men were quite strenuous in their chase.

When Su Yu was about 200 meters away from the night market, Shen Yan’s WeChat voice call came back.

Su Yu quickly answered, before Shen Yan could speak, Su Yu took the initiative, “Shen Yan, come save me!”
