The Immortal Lord is Pregnant with the Demon Lord’s Offspring
ILPDLO Chapter 10

Chu Hanjin pushed the bowl away. “I’m done eating.”

Yue Lin lazily asked, “Is there something you want to ask?”

Chu Hanjin sat there, wanting to ask a million questions, but he couldn’t bring himself to speak.

Should he ask, “Did we ever have a real relationship?” Or, “Is the person in my dreams you?” Or maybe, “Why did you come here looking for me? What’s your real purpose?”

Chu Hanjin had no interest in romance, keeping a distance from lust, and even slightly feeling disdain toward it, finding it dirty and unsightly. Because of this, he wouldn’t give Yue Lin any kind of response.

Yet, based on Yue Lin’s behavior over the past few days, it seemed like he was trying to rekindle their relationship and continue being a couple.

Chu Hanjin furrowed his brows slightly, feeling somewhat conflicted.

He couldn’t imagine what state he was in during his period of amnesia to make Yue Lin cling to him like this. Based on the dreams, the two of them were very in sync in bed, overly affectionate, and seemed to experience a lot of pleasure.

All the things they did—things that went against purity and were indecent—present-day Chu Hanjin couldn’t even fathom. How could he have been tangled up in bed with another man, completely exhausted and out of control?

The more he thought about it, the more Chu Hanjin’s delicate brows furrowed, his voice turning cold again. “When you met me, was I in a state of amnesia?”

Yue Lin replied, “Of course.”

Chu Hanjin couldn’t suppress his anger. “Don’t you think that’s taking advantage of someone?”

Taking advantage of his amnesia, tricking him into bed—what a shameless act!

If he had been fully aware, such a thing would never have happened.

Yue Lin nodded slightly, understanding what Chu Hanjin was struggling with. His previously amicable face darkened, and his gaze deepened. “At the time, you were completely willing. I never forced you, not even a little. And even if there was any coercion, it was you who deliberately enticed me, making it impossible for me to resist.”

“…”

Willing?

Deliberately enticed?

Anyone else hearing this would probably burst out laughing, because these words had absolutely nothing to do with the cold and detached, emotionless Chu Hanjin.

Chu Hanjin curled his lips slightly, as if he’d just heard a ridiculous joke. “I was willing? I deliberately enticed you?”

Yue Lin knew exactly what he was trying to do—cut ties and act as if nothing had happened.

His smile carried a hint of displeasure. “Believe it or not, it’s the truth.”

He took a sip of tea, speaking casually, “Would you like me to recount for you how our first time in bed happened?”

The room fell silent.

A faint blush spread from behind Chu Hanjin’s ears to his neck. He slammed his palm on the tea table and angrily shouted, “Shameless!”

“How is that shameless?” Yue Lin’s smile was cold and teasing. “You, Lord Yue Zhao, may have forgotten the past and now see me as a stranger. But in my eyes, you’re still that gentle and loving little Buddha, the wife I married and swore my vows with. You think I’m shameless, but to me, us sharing intimacy is just the most ordinary thing in the world. Why is it that I can say it, but you can’t bear to hear it?”

Chu Hanjin spoke slowly and forcefully, “How… could… that… be… ordinary?”

The things said in the dark under the covers—could that be ordinary?

Chu Hanjin was so furious his eyelids reddened, struggling to find words. He turned his head, refusing to look at him.

Yue Lin sneered, “You’re even getting angry in the exact same way as before.”

“……..”

Chu Hanjin looked directly at him.

Yue Lin said, “You’re probably thinking, back when you had amnesia, was your brain damaged? How could you have ended up in bed with someone as shameless as me?”

Chu Hanjin’s chest rose and fell with agitation, his eyes widening slightly. The icy aura around him seemed to be on the verge of bursting into flames.

Yue Lin raised his tea cup toward him as if in a toast, speaking in a relaxed tone, “But in bed, what you liked most was precisely my shamelessness.”

“…”

Chu Hanjin was so angry that he almost saw black spots before his eyes, his lips slightly stinging from biting them, and the fury in his eyes was barely held back. He said, “Only you remember what happened back then, so only you can describe it. Who knows what the truth really was?”

Yue Lin narrowed his eyes at him, dusting off his wrist. “So, you’re dead set on believing that I deceived you, and that you didn’t truly love me?”

Chu Hanjin couldn’t fully guarantee that, but there was one thing he was certain of: “Whether I liked you back then or not, that’s in the past. Considering my current self, I am a cultivator, someone who avoids love and emotions. So, I won’t continue to like you.”

He genuinely didn’t understand what it meant to love someone. With a distant gaze, he looked at Yue Lin and added, “I wish you the best in finding a new partner soon.”

Yue Lin’s fingers clenched around the tea cup, crushing it into powder. He laughed coldly, staring at him. “Lord Yue Zhao, you’re really good at this, aren’t you? In your eyes, loving someone is so easy. Not loving someone is also so easy.”

Chu Hanjin half-closed his eyes. “I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”

Love? Affection?

He had never learned it, never felt it.

And he didn’t want to learn, didn’t want to feel it.

And he certainly didn’t want to do such dirty things in bed with a man.

Yue Lin stood up, walking a couple of circles around him before stopping next to him, leaning in close enough to catch the scent of sandalwood from his hair. “Love is between two people, Lord Yue Zhao. You want to sever our ties completely, but I don’t. I still want to be your husband, to share the bed with you, to be intimate with you, to be in love with you. Don’t you think you’re being a bit cruel, deciding unilaterally to separate?”

Chu Hanjin’s fingers, which rested in front of him, trembled slightly. He opened his eyes and looked at Yue Lin again.

His poor Lord Yue Zhao, someone who didn’t even know what love was, was now being dragged into an argument over romantic cause and effect with a shameless person. No wonder he couldn’t win the argument.

Yue Lin’s eyelashes lowered, softening the displeasure in his tone. “I think the best solution is for you to recover your memories of the time we spent together, and then decide whether or not you love me.”

His voice was low as his long fingers twirled a lock of Chu Hanjin’s hair. “If you remember who I am but still don’t love me, then I’ll willingly leave.”

“…”

At this point, what he said seemed quite reasonable.

Chu Hanjin’s eyes were filled with confusion as he stared at him.

Yue Lin sat down comfortably. “I’ll stay here and wait until you regain your memory.”

Chu Hanjin asked, “What if I never regain it?”

Yue Lin chuckled. “Isn’t there a chance that even before you regain your memory, you’ll fall in love with me again?”

“…” Chu Hanjin had thought this plan was reasonable, but after this sentence, his trust in Yue Lin dropped slightly.

Lowering his eyelashes, he thought for a moment and said, “I agree, but there need to be three conditions.”

Yue Lin raised an eyebrow. “Hmm?”

Chu Hanjin lightly bit his teeth and glared at him. “We were once husband and wife, but now we’re not. We should interact as friends.”

Yue Lin closed his eyes briefly. “Anything else?”

Chu Hanjin gritted his teeth, giving him another glare. “You are not allowed to tell anyone about this.”

Yue Lin leaned lazily against the table, finding it somewhat amusing as he nodded. “I won’t tell.”

A short silence followed.

Chu Hanjin couldn’t think of anything else, but his demeanor remained tense as he muttered, “I’ll add more conditions if necessary.”

Yue Lin nodded. “Alright.”

Just then, the sound of footsteps came from outside the door, and someone called out, “Ah Chu, are you there?”

Chu Hanjin stood up. “Shishu?”

Standing at the door was a middle-aged man, dressed in wide robes with an immortal air, Qing Yangzi. He said, “I heard from your senior brother that you were also injured, so I brought some medicine. Make sure to apply it quickly.”

Chu Hanjin blocked the doorway and accepted the porcelain bottle. “Thank you, Shishu.”

Qing Yangzi asked a few brief questions about the events at the Celestial Burial Pit before waving his sleeve and leaving.

Yue Lin emerged from behind the screen. “You’re injured?”

Chu Hanjin glanced at him, unwilling to respond, and after a moment, finally said, “I was injured from using my spiritual energy to fight against him. It’s just a minor injury.”

Yue Lin hadn’t noticed earlier. He walked over, reaching for Chu Hanjin’s wrist to inspect it.

Chu Hanjin brushed his hand away. “I don’t need your concern.”

Yue Lin didn’t relent. “As friends, showing a little concern isn’t too much, is it?”

“……”

Chu Hanjin was silent for a moment, then turned and walked toward the inner room. “I’m going to take a bath. If there’s nothing else, you should go.”

Yue Lin asked, “What kind of bath?”

Chu Hanjin’s spiritual energy was unstable. Ever since he emerged from seclusion, he needed to soak in the spiritual spring every few days. After giving a brief explanation, Yue Lin suddenly said, “Actually, after my trip to the Celestial Burial Pit, my spiritual energy is also unstable. I wonder if I could join you?”

Chu Hanjin was about to coldly reply, “What do you think?” when he noticed Yue Lin’s pale face, as if he were truly feeling unwell.

To be honest, in the entire Far Mountain Sect, Chu Hanjin had never met someone as unruly and audacious as Yue Lin. No one else would dare make such requests. Only Yue Lin would repeatedly push his limits.

But Chu Hanjin was fair-minded. He stood still for a moment, his face stern. “In that case, why don’t you go first?”

Yue Lin chuckled. “Actually, I don’t really want a bath. I just want to apply the medicine for you. Seeing you unwell, I can’t help but feel concerned.”

This statement was completely different from the shameless, face-reddening words he had spoken earlier.

Chu Hanjin lowered his lashes. “It’s improper to be undressed in front of others. It’s considered disrespectful.”

Yue Lin gently rested his hand on Chu Hanjin’s shoulder, guiding him toward the inner room. “You may not remember me right now, but I’m not exactly a stranger either. Besides, I’m only helping you apply the medicine. Hasn’t anyone else done this for you before?”

“……” Under his urging, Chu Hanjin had no choice but to turn around, feeling a bit dazed as Yue Lin gently pushed him into the warm spring water.

Since everything had already been clarified, Chu Hanjin looked at Yue Lin, then began undressing.

He removed his outer robe, folding it neatly and hanging it on a nearby wooden rack. As he loosened his inner robe, he realized Yue Lin was staring at him intently.

That gaze wasn’t something Chu Hanjin was familiar with, but it seemed to have appeared many times in his dreams. The familiar heat from it made Chu Hanjin instinctively say, “Please, control yourself.”

Yue Lin walked over to him, fingers hooking around his robe. “Lord Yue Zhao, regardless of how things are now, we did share a real relationship. You’ve forgotten everything, but I haven’t. You can remain pure of thought, but I can’t. Asking me to have no thoughts at all might be asking too much, don’t you think?”

Chu Hanjin gritted his teeth. “Then get out.”

“Relax, I’m just thinking about it. I won’t actually do anything to you.”

Yue Lin gently slipped the robe off Chu Hanjin’s shoulder, revealing smooth, porcelain-like skin. His bones were delicate and his skin was white and flawless, his long, black hair cascading down his back, reaching his narrow waist.

Yue Lin’s tone took on a teasing lilt. “Do you know why I used to call you a Buddha?”

Every inch of Chu Hanjin’s skin that was touched by Yue Lin’s gaze felt like it was burning. He turned his head and glared at him.

Yue Lin’s voice was low, almost lazy. “Because, Lord Yue Zhao, your skin is as flawless as jade. From head to toe, from your fingertips to your toes, there’s not a single part of you that isn’t smooth and delicate, like a Buddha carved from the purest stone.”

He gently slipped the rest of the robe off.

“Am I right, Lord Yue Zhao?”
