Chapter 11 Is that Ji Jiangye’s pheromone???
Shen Xingyan sat obediently in the restaurant, probably guessing that the dishes in front of him were definitely made by his mother. Looking at the soup in front of him, he immediately praised, “This soup looks good.”
“The other dishes look very delicious!” He said as his gaze moved to a simple plate of tomato scrambled eggs on the table, but it was pitch black.
His face suddenly became a bit awkward, “Um, Mom, did you accidentally put too much soy sauce today?”
Shen’s mother saw through it all, walked quickly to Shen Xingyan’s side, and quickly patted his hand.
“This was made by your sister herself!”
Shen Xingyan suddenly felt like he was sitting on pins and needles.
Flattery backfired.
“Come, Xingxing, try it.” Shen’s mother picked up some tomato scrambled eggs and put them in his bowl.
Shen Xingyan held Shen’s mother’s hand under the table, Shen’s mother ruthlessly smiled and pulled her hand away, sitting back in her own seat.
Shen Xingyan looked at the tomato scrambled eggs in his bowl, slightly swallowed, and could also clearly feel Shen Xin’s gaze on him without moving away.
To eat, maybe won’t kill.
But not eating will definitely lead to death.
He took a deep breath, quickly scooped the egg and rice into his mouth, his expression colorful, with a hint of hope in Shen Xin’s eyes.
“How is it?”
Shen Xingyan pulled out the chair, quickly walked towards the nearest restroom on the first floor.
After spitting out everything in his mouth, he slowly raised his head, looking at his somewhat disheveled self in the mirror.
Mom has a little motherly love.
But not much.
When he walked out, the plate of tomato scrambled eggs on the dining table had already been removed. Shen Xingyan secretly breathed a sigh of relief, finished his meal, and took the opportunity while Shen Xin was on the phone to sneak back to his room.
He picked up his phone and unsurprisingly saw a message from Ji Jiangye.
【Thank me? Wait for me at school】
【I refused】
He actually refused? Shen Xingyan was somewhat surprised but also felt it was only natural.
After all, even the young master’s pursuit had failed!
Ji Jiangye lay on the bed, his back tense, his hands clenched into fists, his ink-black eyes filled with uncontrollable emotions.
After a moment, he finally returned to normal. A small opening was made in the dim room.
“Inject it.”
The boy’s voice was extremely hoarse.
The moment the small opening was made, that strong and malicious pheromone surged out, and the alpha standing outside quickly retreated to a distance, leaving only the beta and the old man standing in place.
The doctor, who was ready with the suppressant, stood beside, but first looked at the old man standing in front.
“Sir, this suppressant was just developed not long ago. Do you really want the young master to use it?” The doctor seemed quite doubtful and hesitated to approach with the suppressant in his hand.
“What nonsense?” Ji Jiangye leaned against the door, his face dark, exuding a strong murderous aura. He reached out his hand through the small opening.
The old man looked at the scratches of various sizes on his arm, gritted his teeth, “Listen to him.”
After the suppressant was administered, the strong pheromone gradually became thinner. Ji Jiangye lay on the large bed, his body curled up in pain, his nails, barely a few millimeters long, almost deeply embedded in his palm.
Finally lost consciousness.
The next day, Shen Xingyan, who had come to the classroom to check on things, couldn’t help but mutter when he scanned the classroom and didn’t see Ji Jiangye.
“What’s going on, no response to messages, not showing up, could he really be dead outside?”
Chen Rui sat in his seat, the things he was holding were sneakily hidden behind him. When he looked up, he saw Shen Xingyan looking deeply troubled, with dark circles under his eyes hanging down to his nose.
He couldn’t help but sigh, “Shen Xingyan, did you go steal something last night?”
Shen Xingyan wouldn’t admit that he had waited for Ji Jiangye’s message and hadn’t slept. It would be embarrassing to say it out loud.
He pulled out his chair and sat down directly, his eyes sharp as he looked at the spot where Chen Rui was hiding something.
“What are you hiding, you little rascal?”
Chen Rui instinctively moved the thing towards himself, with a bit of a “there’s no need to be suspicious” vibe.
“No, nothing.”
Shen Xingyan raised an eyebrow, letting out a long “Oh” sound, attracting the attention of the scattered people in the class.
“Shush, shush, shush!” Chen Rui quickly grabbed Shen Xingyan’s hand, looking at him with a pleading expression.
“Shen Xingyan, you’re my brother, my real brother!! Don’t ‘oh’ me.”
Shen Xingyan snorted lightly, “Go on, what’s so secretive about it?”
Chen Rui’s cheeks flushed slightly, and he scratched his face awkwardly, “Last night when I went back, I ran into someone who played with Li Yi, and I almost couldn’t get home. Just happened to meet someone who was off work, and they saved me.”
“What?!” Shen Xingyan frowned tightly, his voice raised sharply.
“Why didn’t you send me a message, are you okay?”
“That’s not the point, keep listening to me.” Chen Rui quickly interrupted him.
“The point is, that person is the brother of the person I like!”
“Really, how could there be such a coincidence in the world? It just so happened that he said he was on the way home and sent me home. When I got to the school gate, I found out that the younger sister he was picking up was that junior!”
Chen Rui became more and more excited, “I took the opportunity to get his brother’s contact information. I was planning to thank his brother with this, and I could also talk to the junior.”
“Maybe it’s fate.” A smug smile spread across his delicate face.
But compared to that, Li Yi’s repeated harassment annoyed Shen Xingyan more. He narrowed his eyes and snorted coldly.
“I also ran into Li Yi yesterday.”
Chen Rui immediately stopped his enthusiastic chatter, “Why is he still lingering around?”
“It seems like we need to find a time to deal with him once and for all, make him afraid to come near Jinda again.” Shen Xingyan stroked his chin, a glint in his black eyes.
“Alright, I’m going to take a nap first, you can do whatever you want later.”
Chen Rui nodded, his eyes flickered around the classroom, and he said casually, “But Shen Xingyan, Ji Jiangye didn’t even come to school.”
Shen Xingyan, who was lying on the table, paused for a moment and didn’t speak.
Chen Rui didn’t think his attitude was strange, after all, this was Shen Xingyan’s usual attitude towards Ji Jiangye.
He looked at the timetable he had saved on his phone and found that the second class in the morning was PE. He was so happy that he mumbled softly.
“I’ll go find the junior after PE.”
“PE, PE.”
But Shen Xingyan, who was lying on the table, was a little upset. He took out his phone from his pocket, opened QQ, and still couldn’t see a new message pop up.
Just then, Chen Rui saw the person sitting not far from Shen Xingyan pack up his bag and walk out. Curious, he asked, “Why are you leaving? You just got here?”
The person had a wry smile on his face, “I don’t know why, but my heat cycle came early. Maybe it’s because of the pheromone I smelled last time.”
Chen Rui was a beta and didn’t understand much about pheromones. He hadn’t even paid attention in physiology class. He could only nod.
“I’m really curious about what those pheromones actually smell like.”
Shen Xingyan thought back to the pleasant smell on Ji Jiangye, and belatedly, his expression froze.
No, no, could it be that the smell he smelled before was Ji Jiangye’s pheromone???
