Deep Emotional Seduction Chapter 7

Chapter 7

A few girls laughed ambiguously: “It’s still early, and you’re already heading upstairs to a room? You can’t wait, huh?”

The girl in the short skirt blushed from their teasing: “So annoying!”

Her voice was soft and tender, sweet enough that even Lin Yuxi thought it sounded pleasant.

Zhou Yanjing removed the cigarette from his lips. His hands were well-cared-for, with slender, strong wrists. His fingers were clean and elegant, like fine jade.

He tapped the half-burnt cigarette against the dark gray crystal ashtray, the ash falling in. He chuckled briefly, a low sound from his throat.

Carefree and unbothered.

“I’m not paralyzed, I don’t need help to sleep.”

Yu Jiaxiao laughed, her temper rising again: “Paralyzed would be better!”

Lin Yuxi, seemingly ignoring Zhou Yanjing’s flirtatious banter with the woman, quietly peeled pistachios for her: “Don’t curse him just yet. If he becomes paralyzed, I’ll have to push his wheelchair.”

Yu Jiaxiao thought for a moment, then laughed: “Alright, how about just paralyzing his upper body then!”

“Upper body paralysis? What does that even mean, like cerebral palsy?”

Yu Jiaxiao snickered, “A walking prick.”

Lin Yuxi shoved a nut into her mouth, “Just shut up already.”

Song Yunfan came over with two bottles of wine for them. Lin Yuxi glanced at him and said, “Thank you.”

Song Yunfan explained quietly, “There are a bunch of guys downstairs. We didn’t call you up earlier because we didn’t want you and your friend to feel uncomfortable.”

Lin Yuxi’s clear, bright eyes looked at him, and she smiled: “I understand.”

With pretty women around, if they drank too much and wanted to relax, there were rooms upstairs at the bar.

Her being there, of course, was inconvenient.

Her gaze was calm and composed, as if she saw through everything, making Song Yunfan feel uneasy, as though he had nowhere to hide.

Just then, the girl in the short skirt moved closer to Zhou Yanjing, her round chest nearly pressing against his arm:

“Second Young Master, I have a concert next week. Will you have time to come?”

Turns out she was a little pop star.

Lin Yuxi thought, no wonder her voice was so pleasant.

“Ugh!” Yu Jiaxiao exaggeratedly gagged beside Lin Yuxi, “I’m gonna puke.”

Normally, Lin Yuxi did everything slowly. In school, she was always the last one to finish the 800-meter run and never passed the sit-up tests. But now, she reacted quickly, dodging to the side, even lifting both feet off the ground.

“Don’t puke on me.”

Zhou Yanjing’s casual, smiling voice sounded teasing: “I’m allergic to music.”

The little pop star pouted: “But if you listen to my singing, it might cure you.”

Yu Jiaxiao couldn’t hold it in anymore: “What do you think you are, an ultrasound machine? Sound waves can heal people now? If you’re so amazing, why not donate your voice to a hospital?”

The little pop star glanced at her, as if frightened, and leaned closer to Zhou Yanjing: “Second Young Master, who is she?”

Yu Jiaxiao was about to curse more, but Lin Yuxi whispered, “Don’t cause trouble, Xiaoxiao. If things get out of hand, I might not be able to protect you.”

Yu Jiaxiao immediately backed down.

It wasn’t that she was afraid, but she felt bad for her best friend.

No one else knew what kind of life Lin Yuxi had been living these past few years, but she did.

If things escalated and Zhou Yanjing didn’t side with Lin Yuxi, how humiliating would that be for her in front of all these people?

Lin Yuxi held her back, then casually raised her eyes to look at the little pop star.

“I have time. Do you have tickets?”

The little pop star looked at her for a few seconds, then smiled sweetly: “Of course! Sister, add my assistant on WeChat later, and I’ll have them send you the tickets.”

“Thanks. But that’s not necessary.” Lin Yuxi casually pointed at Zhou Yanjing with her long, slender finger.

“You can just ask him to send it to me.”

The little pop star froze for a moment.

Zhou Yanjing lazily lifted his eyelids, glancing at Lin Yuxi across the table without giving a clear response.

The little pop star pouted at him: “But I don’t have Second Young Master’s WeChat. What should I do?”

Zhou Yanjing, looking relaxed, threw the question to Lin Yuxi: “What do we do? Ask her.”

Even in front of his wife, he flirted with other women without a trace of guilt. He didn’t even bother with appearances, reclining calmly in his chair.

You’re asking me what to do with your flirtations? Might as well make a big deal of it.

Lin Yuxi remained as calm as ever, speaking gently like a good sister to the little pop star: “It’s fine, just add me, and I’ll send it to you.”

The men around them were practically holding in laughter. Really? You’re going to give your husband’s WeChat to another woman? How generous of you!

The little pop star was completely bewildered.

What’s going on?

Earlier, she had quietly sized up Lin Yuxi. This legal wife didn’t seem to hold much status. Zhou Yanjing clearly didn’t take her seriously.

And Lin Yuxi seemed used to it, calmly sitting there, peeling pistachios.

She wasn’t dressed up, wearing a plain blue sweater and a simple skirt. She didn’t stand out at all, but in truth, her features were elegant and beautiful, with a classic beauty.

Who cares what’s going on? Not adding the WeChat would be foolish.

She immediately smiled sweetly at Lin Yuxi: “Thank you, Sister!”

Lin Yuxi smiled gently in return: “No problem. you deserve it.”

Zhou Yanjing smirked mockingly, his gaze sliding away from Lin Yuxi’s composed face as he lazily drawled, “Thank her too soon.”

The little pop star was still confused when she saw him pull out his phone. Her heart jumped with excitement.

If she could add him directly, who needed a middleman?

She happily pulled out her phone, eagerly opening the scan function, ready for Zhou Yanjing to show his QR code.

But instead of going to the add friends screen, Zhou Yanjing opened his contacts list, glancing at Lin Yuxi out of the corner of his eye.

“You reminded me, I forgot to delete you, didn’t I?”

Lin Yuxi: ”

He really was in the mood to delete her, scrolling through his list. “Which one’s your ID?”

The people around them fell silent, unsure what was going on with this couple today, not daring to interrupt.

One was flirting with another woman in front of his wife.

The other was sitting there, pretending not to notice.

One was about to give her husband’s WeChat to another woman.

The other was about to delete his wife in front of everyone, not even knowing which one was her.

Plastic is more durable than their marriage.

Lin Yuxi threw the pistachio shells into the bowl: “You can take your time looking.”

The little pop star took the chance to ask for Zhou Yanjing’s WeChat again, but he seemed to have lost interest, unable to find Lin Yuxi’s contact, and looked a bit bored.

“You want to add my WeChat?”

The little pop star nodded obediently.

Yu Jiaxiao, watching these two scumbags flirt in front of Lin Yuxi, was about to explode, but Lin Yuxi held her down before she could act out. She jumped up.

Zhou Yanjing, resting one arm on the back of the couch, lazily twirled his phone between his fingers, his voice indifferent and cold.

“And why would I add you?”

The little pop star:

Yu Jiaxiao sank back into her seat.

Damn, let’s hope Zhou Yanjing’s mouth gets paralyzed instead.
