I’m Not Familiar With Him!
I’m Not Familiar With Him! [Extra 2.2]

The dormitory manager noticed her and then looked at the handsome boy waiting.

He Ye wasn’t sure if the manager remembered them, but she didn’t care and walked out.

She noticed that Lu Jin had gotten a bit darker since last week. He wore a black T-shirt and had trendy short hair.

He Ye asked: “…Did you wash your hair? Or… did you sweat during the trip?”

Lu Jin smiled, holding her hand as they walked: “Let’s go to the hotel first, and then I’ll see you after I shower.”

Questions filled He Ye’s mind. “What time did you arrive?”

“Packed in the morning and caught the 6:45 flight after military training.”

“Another leave? What’s the excuse this time?”

“I’ll be at school at 10 a.m. with the 7 a.m. flight tomorrow. I’m close with the instructor, so I can say I’m taking my grandma to the hospital. He’ll agree.”

He Ye was surprised: “…”

She stopped, looking at Lu Jin with complicated feelings. The flight was at 7 a.m., so he would have to wake up around 5 a.m. for the airport. It was already 10:30 p.m., and he had another day of high-intensity military training ahead.

He Ye felt regret: “If I hadn’t been so harsh on you, would you have come?”

Lu Jin replied: “Maybe, but I probably would have. When the thought of missing you is painful, it’s better to struggle through it.”

He Ye didn’t understand; she had never felt that way until Lu Jin.

He hugged her and suggested: “Since we’re here, how about a walk by the lake?”

He remembered there were a few artificial lakes on campus.

He Ye looked down at his legs and said sarcastically: “What’s there to walk for? You’ve been in military training all day, and you have to train again tomorrow. Aren’t you tired?”

Lu Jin said: “There’s a place to sit by the lake.”

He couldn’t kiss her in the dorm; too many people were around.

He Ye didn’t move.

Lu Jin pulled her into his arms. He didn’t kiss her but just held her.

She leaned on his shoulder, smelling his shower gel and feeling his warmth through their clothes.

He Ye had thought Lu Jin would take the whole day off tomorrow, so she didn’t plan on going to the hotel with him.

But? He had to return at 5 a.m. tomorrow.

She couldn’t bear to see her boyfriend go through all that trouble just to spend a little time with her. They had only been around campus for a little over an hour.

“I’ll go back to the dorm. You wait here.”

She pushed him away and turned to leave.

Lu Jin didn’t know what she was up to and didn’t ask.

He Ye climbed the stairs to the dorm.

Wang Ran and Guo Leyan looked over as she entered.

Under their gaze, He Ye took out her ID card from the drawer, explaining with a red face, “He didn’t take leave. He has to catch the 7 a.m. flight at 5 a.m. tomorrow.”

Guo Leyan teased: “Is this the power of love?”

Wang Ran added: “No, this is He Ye’s ultimate attraction to Lu Jin.”

He Ye: “…”

She quickly left again.

Outside the dorm, Lu Jin didn’t notice anything odd about her. He asked: “What did you get?”

The darkness of night hid He Ye’s embarrassment well. She took out her ID card.

Lu Jin understood and held her hand tightly: “I really want to, but I don’t want you to force yourself just because you’re kind.”

He Ye replied: “…I just want to be with you for a while. Don’t overthink it. If you have other plans, just walk around campus. I’ll be back at the dorm by midnight.”

Lu Jin said quickly: “I know what you mean. I think you just want to spend the night at the hotel, nothing else.”

For a good girl like her, staying out all night right after college started would be too much.

Lu Jin didn’t want to force her.

He didn’t even change into his military uniform, just to catch the earliest flight and spend one more hour with her before the dorm closed.

If he wanted, he could have taken the 8 a.m. train and waited until the dorm closed to pressure her.

He Ye shook her head. She didn’t feel pressured tonight.

She had her limits.

She wouldn’t agree to anything she felt uncomfortable with. Even if Lu Jin had to catch a flight at 3 a.m., she wouldn’t give in.

From the dorm to the school gate, Lu Jin checked with He Ye multiple times, and only called a taxi when he was sure she had thought it through.

While waiting for the car, He Ye asked, “Which hotel did you book?”

There’s a convenient hotel within walking distance of the school that He Ye has visited twice.

Lu Jin replied, “It’s about four or five kilometers away. It takes about ten minutes by taxi. It’s not far.”

He Ye wondered, “Why not choose a hotel nearby?”

Lu Jin looked at her and said, “I’m not planning to invite you over tonight, but I want to be ready in case you want to join me.”

He Ye asked, “…Is there a difference?”

Lu Jin squeezed her hand and said, “I’ve seen too many short relationships and one-night stands in small hotels near universities. I’m not that kind of person with you.”

He took his relationship with He Ye seriously.

If he has money, he prefers to take her to a nice hotel.

He would rather manage his money than take her to places where boys often take girls for casual encounters.

For tonight, if Lu Jin has special plans, he’ll look for a room similar to their last stay. If not, he wants somewhere close to her school, making it easy for them to meet and for her to return home in the morning.

He Ye was silent for a moment.

She didn’t have any specific expectations for their relationship and hadn’t thought much about love.

When the car arrived, the smooth ride took only ten minutes to reach the hotel.

Standing in front of the hotel, He Ye thought of two words: house price!

Lu Jin could tell what she was thinking and ruffled her hair, saying, “First, I have money now. Second, I’ll keep getting scholarships. Third, when I graduate, I’ll be even richer.”

He Ye responded, “…You’re really impressive.”

Lu Jin thought, “My girlfriend is too naive. She has no idea how intense it is to say this in such a moment.”

A minute later, they were at the front desk to check in for He Ye.

Feeling uneasy, she leaned against Lu Jin’s chest while they stood.

Once they got the room key and left the front desk, He Ye felt more relaxed.

Lu Jin held her hand the whole time. Since no one else was in the elevator, he whispered in her ear, “You look like the good girl I kidnapped.”

He Ye’s ears turned red at his words.

They arrived at their guest room, a luxurious king-size bedroom in a five-star hotel, clean and bright.

While Lu Jin got her slippers, He Ye noticed a pair of camouflage shoes for military training in the cabinet.

Surprised, she asked, “Did you come here in camouflage clothes?”

Lu Jin replied, “Yeah, or I’d have to take the next flight and wash my clothes at the hotel.”

He Ye asked, “Won’t people look at you on the plane?”

Lu Jin straightened up and said, “I’m not as shameless as you.”

He Ye was speechless.

Lu Jin went to wash his hands while He Ye explored the room. When she moved toward the entrance, Lu Jin came out.

The bright lighting made his already sharp features look even more striking after getting tanned.

He Ye looked down, feeling shy under his gaze.

Lu Jin walked over and hugged her.

He Ye felt nervous and said, “Turn off the light.”

Lu Jin replied, “No, I can’t get enough of this.”

So, He Ye closed her eyes.

She felt her boyfriend’s breath as he looked at her.

He lifted her chin and stared for so long that her neck started to ache. Finally, he spoke again, “Don’t you want to? Look at me.”

He Ye’s eyelashes fluttered.

Lu Jin touched her lips and said, “So, you really don’t miss me.”

He Ye was at a loss for words.

Lu Jin took her hand and guided it from his forehead to his neck.

When her fingers brushed against his Adam’s apple, He Ye instinctively pulled back.

Lu Jin released her hand and gently touched her cheek and ears, saying, “He Ye, I miss you too.”

He Ye whispered, “…I thought about it.”

Her voice was barely audible.

Lu Jin asked, “How do you prove it?”

He Ye bit her lip.

Lu Jin continued, “Kiss me, like I kiss you.”

He Ye found it hard to do.

Lu Jin turned off the lights, led her to the bed, and sat down, positioning her between his legs.

Lu Jin looked up, wrapped his arm around her neck, and pulled her closer: “He Ye, kiss me.”

His hands were strong, causing He Ye to lean forward and hold onto his shoulders for support.

It was clear he really wanted her, so He Ye reluctantly gave him a light kiss on the forehead.

Lu Jin prompted, “Kiss my cheek too.”

The darkness gave He Ye more courage, and she kissed his cheek.

Lu Jin pointed to his lips.

He Ye warned, “This is the last one. You can’t ask for more.”

Lu Jin nodded.

He Ye tilted her head, then leaned in to kiss his lips.

After the kiss, she tried to pull away, but his hand suddenly grabbed the back of her head.

He Ye gasped in surprise as he eagerly kissed her.

This kiss felt like the one from a week ago.

Military training had improved Lu Jin’s physique and made his kisses longer.

He Ye’s neck ached, and she pushed against his shoulder in protest.

Lu Jin held her tight and they fell onto the bed.

He Ye stiffened.

Lu Jin pulled the blanket over her waist and leaned in to ask, “Are you feeling relieved now?”

He Ye secretly pulled the blanket up to cover her neck.

Lu Jin’s voice was husky as he said, “We’ve taken this position, and we won’t give up an inch.”

He Ye: “…”

He was just wearing a camouflage uniform for two weeks. Do you really think he is a soldier?
