With dreams of forming contracts with stunning, powerful creatures, attending the prestigious Beast Taming University, competing in national battle tournaments, and becoming the world champion, she embarks on an epic adventure with her contract partners.

As fate would have it, Mu Huiyue rises to the top, standing on the world’s greatest battle stage. On the eve of her final showdown, she glimpses a poster of herself with her contract beasts:

On her left stands a headless knight wrapped in dark mist, on her right, a one-eyed grim reaper gripping a massive scythe, and behind her, a ghostly white wolf howls beneath the moon. In the center stands Mu Huiyue, dressed in black, her eyes deeper and darker than the night.

Mu Huiyue: “…This isn’t exactly how I imagined things?”
