“If that’s the case, it would make sense.”

But it still felt strange. Feng Min didn’t think it was that simple.

He had to leave for something urgent and wouldn’t be able to return for a few days. Feng Min was a little anxious.

As soon as the external collaboration was finalized, he rushed back without even having dinner, flying back in a hurry.

Instead of going home first, he went to see Chi Yan.

He controlled the urge and continued watching quietly.

Before long, Chi Yan walked to the maternity section, stopping in front of the formula aisle. A sales assistant approached with a smile, asking Chi Yan how old his baby was and which formula he wanted to choose.

“Not born yet, a little over six months,” Chi Yan replied.

“How about this one? Imported, with a full nutritional profile, comparable to breast milk.”

“This one?” Chi Yan picked up a can of formula with English labeling and started to read it. He could understand a bit of English, but in reality, he was the type to buy what others recommended.

“Are there any other options?”

“This one is also good, it’s our best-seller.” The sales assistant recommended another brand, one that Chi Yan recognized as being quite reputable in the country.

The baby would be born soon, and he’d be on his own. He had to get everything ready in advance.

Chi Yan looked down at the formula, unaware that a man with an extremely dark expression was slowly approaching him from behind.
