The Sweetest Poison: Innocence with Deadly Consequences Chapter 11

Chapter 11 The Timid Home Tutor of the Profligate Evil Young Master

No one has ever given her a gift… What could it be… Why give it to her…

Pei Yao kissed Luo Yan on the cheek, “Little tutor, look—”

As if performing a magic trick, he pulled out a bunch of fiery red and vibrant roses from behind, nestled in the middle of the clustered roses was a silver crystal box, faintly revealing a colorful light inside.

Luo Yan opened the box and found a very beautiful wristwatch inside. The outer ring was set with sparkling diamonds, while the dial, intricately carved with clusters of blue and pink flowers, shone dazzlingly as time passed.

Looking at the watch, Luo Yan felt very uneasy.

Pei Yao saw through her thoughts and directly said, “Don’t worry about the price. Just tell me if you think it looks good, if you like it, speak your mind honestly, don’t lie to me.”

“I know, little baby Luo Yan never lies.” Pei Yao pinched Luo Yan’s nose, “The noses of lying children will grow longer, you know.”

Luo Yan looked at Pei Yao steadily and finally whispered, “It’s beautiful…”

“Do you like it, baby?”

“I like it…”

Pei Yao revealed a genuine smile.

He took the watch out of the box and gently put it on Luo Yan’s wrist.

“It looks really good, suits you well. Your man has a good eye.”

Pei Yao patted Luo Yan’s head and made such a comment.

Luo Yan, wearing a pink and purple bubble dress and a watch that would bloom, looked like a little princess stepping out of a fairy garden.

Pei Yao couldn’t bear to take his eyes off the person in front of him.

Feeling embarrassed by Pei Yao’s gaze, Luo Yan lowered her eyes, still feeling that the gift Pei Yao gave her was too precious.

Pei Yao hugged her tightly, rubbing her head, murmuring, “I’m happy as long as you like me. Don’t keep thinking about whether it’s expensive or not. I can afford it. As long as you like it, as long as you’re happy, this thing is worth it—after all, your man’s affection for you is priceless… Ahem.”

Pei Yao subconsciously swallowed the last sentence—after all, his ears were turning a bit red.

This day passed like a dream. On the way back home with Pei Yao, Luo Yan secretly glanced at Pei Yao’s profile as he focused on driving, asking herself, “Do you like it, are you happy, is it worth it?”

Alas, she didn’t know the answer deep down.

As the car drove into the underground parking lot of Pei’s house, Luo Yan felt a bit sentimental. The day passed by so quickly.

She carefully counted the number of flowers blooming on the dial of her watch, “One, two, three…”

“Pei Yao, are there eight flowers blooming on it?” Luo Yan excitedly said to Pei Yao, “It’s eight o’clock, this is so fun!”

“Is it fun, baby?” Pei Yao, however, didn’t rush to get out of the car. He leaned on the steering wheel, looking very lazy, but his eyes were extremely aggressive as he looked at Luo Yan.

Luo Yan, as if scorched by Pei Yao’s intense gaze, hurriedly turned her head to unfasten the car door buckle—the door was locked.

“Pei Yao?” Luo Yan asked in confusion, “Why did you lock the car?”

Pei Yao flicked the car key with his little finger, licked his lower jaw with his tongue, revealing a suggestive smile.

Half of his face was hidden in the shadow cast by the car’s interior lighting, as if contemplating something.

“Baby,” after a while, the sound of fabric rubbing came, and Luo Yan heard Pei Yao let out a sexy sigh.

“Baby, can you make me happy today too?”

Pei Yao turned to face Luo Yan, and through the gap between Pei Yao’s elbow…

“Pei Yao!” Luo Yan’s face instantly turned as red as an apple.

No one could have expected that Pei Yao would start doing such things in the narrow car space.

Luo Yan shyly covered her face, as if by doing so she could ignore this absurd scene, but Pei Yao’s breath, so close, and the masculine scent unique to Pei Yao, left her brain in chaos.

“Little tutor…” Pei Yao’s voice was like a wandering sea breeze, cool and moist. His empty right hand tentatively reached over, sliding over her skirt, and held her bewildered hand.

Pei Yao’s hand was also warm, slightly sweaty in the palm.

“Pei Yao, why are you still so perverted.”

He took out a bottle of wine from the back seat of the car, bit open the bottle cap with his teeth, swallowed a few pills with the wine, and teased Luo Yan, “Taking a few pills makes me less perverted, baby.”

“Mmm…” Luo Yan wanted to remind Pei Yao that he shouldn’t swallow pills with wine, as it’s bad for the stomach. But at the thought of Pei Yao taking the pills again, Luo Yan’s face turned red in an instant.

Pei Yao covered his head and took a few sips of wine. His Adam’s apple rolled, and a few drops of transparent liquid splashed on his honey-colored chest, wetting the dark fabric with dark watermarks.

Wildness and ** seemed to melt in those few drops of wine, evaporating with the rise in body temperature, spreading an ambiguous and decadent fragrance on Pei Yao’s handsome body.

Pei Yao tilted his head and smiled at Luo Yan, “Coming?”

It was as if the intoxicating fragrance had bewitched her. Luo Yan’s mind went blank, only to be painted over with a vibrant, dazzling array of colors. Her eyes were hazy, as though she was offering herself up in sacrifice.

“Why should I bow my head? Do I want to make Pei Yao happy?” Luo Yan wondered.

No one had ever wished for Luo Yan’s happiness, except for her mother and Pei Yao. Because of that, she also wanted Pei Yao to be happy.

“Pei Yao, if I do this, will it make you happy?” Luo Yan blinked slowly, softly asking him.

“Hold on, little tutor.”

Pei Yao suppressed his impulses, turning to reach for the roses in the backseat—their delicate blooms now had a new purpose.

He pulled out a single rose, holding the dark green stem between his teeth, then slowly tore off the soft, moist petals one by one.

With a rose between his teeth, Pei Yao leaned in close to kiss Luo Yan’s face. “Now, it won’t taste bitter~”

The rose petals were crushed between their entangled bodies, their sweet, delicate juices spreading between their lips. Luo Yan’s fair chin was smeared with the crumbled petals, resembling melted red candle wax.

“Baby, Luo Yan… I…”

Luo Yan’s initiative tonight made Pei Yao’s heart race uncontrollably. Words tumbled out without thought as he listened to the faint moans he coaxed from her with his kisses, sweetness welling up in his chest, searching for release.

“I love you,” Pei Yao heard himself say.

He loosened his hold on Luo Yan, gazing at her flushed face like she was his most cherished treasure.

Pei Yao hooked his hand around Luo Yan’s, kicked open the car door, and hurriedly ran around to her side. He opened the door and lifted her out in a princess carry. Luo Yan’s legs, clad in white stockings, gently swayed in the crook of Pei Yao’s arm.

Luo Yan leaned against Pei Yao’s chest, listening to his rapid heartbeat. Dizzy and light-headed, she vaguely sensed something was about to happen, but too many unexpected things had already taken place tonight. Maybe it was the influence of alcohol, but she had used up all the courage she’d accumulated over the years.

Was she happy, joyful, or was it worth it? In her mind, roses bloomed one by one, weaving into a blood-red mist. Lost in it, she wandered, hesitated, and reached the end, where she saw Pei Yao’s burning eyes.

Pei Yao shifted, using one hand to hold Luo Yan by the waist, hoisting her onto his shoulder.

The underground parking lot was dimly lit, with only the faint glow of Pei Yao’s sports car casting a weak light.

Even so, Pei Yao’s eyes remained startlingly bright in the darkness. He knelt on one knee, like a dragon guarding his princess.

Luo Yan looked at Pei Yao docilely, her innocent, sorrowful face stained with rose-red juices, a beauty so bewitching it took one’s breath away.

Gently kissing her cheek, his cool lips brushed her brows. “Are you afraid?”

“If I kiss you, if I claim you, will you be scared?”

Luo Yan, thoroughly enjoying the kisses, heard Pei Yao’s questions. She nodded at first, then remembered something and shook her head.

“Pei Yao, will you always be gentle with me?”

“Baby, you can’t expect a fully functional man to always stay gentle in moments like these.”

Pei Yao caressed her ear. “But, baby, I won’t let you get hurt in the slightest.”

He pointed to his shoulder, near his neck. “If I make you uncomfortable, just bite me here.”

“I wouldn’t bite you…” Luo Yan pouted slightly. “I’m not a puppy…”

Pei Yao chuckled, imagining Luo Yan with puppy ears, wagging her tail furiously like a little windmill the moment she saw him.

Tsk, what a shame, Pei Yao thought. Maybe next time, he could arrange for a few outfits—something like a little bunny, or a kitten.

In the end, Luo Yan rested her head on Pei Yao’s shoulder as they looked up at the ceiling of the underground parking lot together.

“Look, there are stars,” Luo Yan pointed to the dark ceiling, spouting nonsense.

Pei Yao pulled her closer into his arms, planting a soft kiss on her.

“Silly girl, that’s because you’re dizzy from your hubby~”
