The Bad
Bad Chapter 1

I’m a delinquent.

When I was eighteen, I forced Fang Nian to kiss me, and his older brother caught us.
Fang Heng cornered me in an alley, grabbed my hair, and asked, “Where do you want to kiss? I’ll kiss you instead.”
I excitedly unzipped my pants and said, “Here!”

1

Sorry, I didn’t give in after being beaten.

I licked the blood off my lips and tugged at my pants’ waist, not caring about Fang Heng’s dark expression in the slightest.
“Why aren’t you moving? Weren’t you going to kiss me?”
I raised my head, fearlessly provoking him: “Get on your knees and kiss me.”

Fang Heng laughed in anger. He punched me again, this time in the stomach. The guy sure didn’t hold back.
I Bent over in pain, I still refused to back down, full of rage.
“What’s the point of asking if you’re not going to kiss? If you won’t, I’ll go find Fang Nian and let him kiss me instead.”
I knew what Fang Heng feared the most—me bullying his precious little brother.

He’s a doting older brother, and in his eyes, Fang Nian is a little angel.
As for me, I’m just a trash in his eyes. He’s terrified I’ll taint Fang Nian by even touching him.

Fang Heng pulled out a box cutter, and the cold blade slowly slid down my abdomen.

I swallowed hard.
Why does this guy carry something like that around with him?

Fang Heng lowered his eyes, his gaze unclear behind his glasses, anger simmering beneath the surface.
“Say it again. Who do you want to kiss? And where?”

I straightened up immediately, not daring to move an inch.
I was scared that if he slipped up, I’d be cut off for good.

The cold blade tapped against my hip bone, sending a shiver through me. I nearly wet myself in fear.
Trying to stay calm, I croaked out, “Fang… Fang Heng, put the knife down.”
“I promise, I won’t go after Fang Nian anymore.”

Fang Heng didn’t respond, just stared at me coldly and said, “Kiss me.”

What?
I didn’t move.
The box cutter gleamed menacingly, threatening me.

Fang Heng repeated without emotion, “Kiss me.”

I cursed under my breath. Fine, I’ll kiss him.
Fang Heng is good-looking anyway, so it’s no loss to me.

As soon as I touched his lips, he grabbed my neck and shoved me away, saying, “Not there.”
His cold gaze drifted downward as he smirked slightly and whispered, “Get on your knees.”

I widened my eyes in shock.
He wants me to…

I clenched my fists, thinking of a way to run.
But Fang Heng seemed to see right through me.
“If you try to run, within a hundred meters, I’ll catch you and cut off that disobedient thing of yours.”

He placed his hand on my head and pressed me down.
His strength wasn’t overwhelming, but it left no room for resistance.

“If you bite me, I’ll knock out all of your teeth.”

I knelt at his feet, gritting my teeth in frustration but utterly helpless.
Fang Heng had beaten me so badly earlier that my whole body hurt—I couldn’t even think of running.

The box cutter tapped my face, and Fang Heng’s voice came down from above: “Yan Ze, open your mouth.”

I closed my eyes in near despair.

Fang Heng didn’t treat me like a person. His actions were violent and cruel.

When it was over, he grabbed my face, rubbing my swollen lips and asking, “How does it feel to be forced?”
This was his revenge for Fang Nian.

My throat hurt, and my voice was hoarse: “Why don’t you try it yourself?”

Fang Heng chuckled.
Up close, I could see his eyes through the lenses—beautiful in shape, but so dark that they seemed bottomless, drowning anyone who looked into them.

“With a mouth as soft as yours, you should say sweeter things.”

He pulled out a tissue, wiped his hands, and threw the used tissue on me like I was something filthy.
“Don’t tell Fang Nian about today.”
“I’ll be watching you, Yan Ze.”

Fang Heng left.

I was left in a heap in the corner, like a pile of trash.
Rain started to fall.
I could smell the garbage around me, and I probably smelled just like it.

Shivering, I pulled out a crumpled cigarette, but after trying for ages, I couldn’t get it to light.
I threw the lighter down in frustration and cursed.

Limping, I made my way home.
From a distance, I saw someone standing neatly at the end of the alley—a figure in a blue and white school uniform, with black-rimmed glasses.
It was Fang Nian, looking as proper and innocent as ever.

When he heard my footsteps, he turned to look at me, pausing before running over with a worried expression.
“Ah Ze, what happened to you? Did you get into a fight again?”

I pushed him away. “None of your business.”

Fang Nian bit his lip, then rummaged in his pocket for a while before pulling out a handful of money.
Nervously, he held it out to me, looking at me earnestly: “Take it.”

I couldn’t tell how much it was—some loose bills, some coins.
I took the money and told Fang Nian, “Get lost. Don’t come looking for me again.”

Fang Nian didn’t move, speaking urgently: “Is it not enough? I’ll go home and get more. Tomorrow I’ll—”

I cut him off with a sneer, raising my eyes to look at him.
“Fang Nian, I’m done with you.”

Fang Nian’s eyes turned red as he reached out to grab my hand timidly.
“Are you mad because that day I refused to kiss you? I wasn’t ready yet. I’ve never done anything like that before…”
Softly, he added, “Ah Ze, please don’t be angry, okay?”

He seemed to come to a decision, holding onto my shoulders and slowly leaning in, his eyelashes trembling as he prepared to kiss me.

I coldly watched his anxious yet determined face, then took a step back and pushed him away.
“I’m not mad.” I pocketed the money and said indifferently, “I never liked you in the first place. I only played along because you’re pretty and your family’s rich.”

I was telling the truth.

Fang Nian’s family was wealthy. He was good at school, good-looking, and had a timid personality.
Guys like me—delinquents—loved to bully people like him.
He had money, and it felt satisfying to push him around.

After we ended up in the same class, I bullied Fang Nian a lot, extorting protection money from him regularly.
He was too scared to tell his family, even when threatened.

Then people started telling me how good-looking Fang Nian was, saying he was like a little wife, and that I should just claim him. I’d get money every day that way.
I took their advice and forced Fang Nian to date me.
He didn’t dare refuse.
He asked timidly, “If I date you, will you stop beating me up?”

I found him adorable and smiled, saying, “Yeah, I won’t hit you anymore. I’ll take good care of you.”

Fang Nian believed me. He really did act like a little wife, giving me all his money. If he didn’t have any, he’d save up just to hand it over.
He’d say, “Ah Ze, I’ve given you all my money. Can you stop getting into fights now?”

Being a delinquent was a group thing. Someone would tease, “Wow, the little wife sure is sweet. Let’s see you give her a kiss and see how it tastes.”

Translator’s Note: You may be wondering why is the title like that? The original title is just “Bad” but I added a “The” in it because Shanghai Fantasy website do not put the story in recent upload if there was only a one name title on it that’s why I added a “The” in it. Hope you don’t mind.
