The Villain’s Family Favorite Little Sweetheart Chapter 204: Yuanyuan is a Good Girl

Wen Zifei felt something fly into his mouth, his face turning pale as he spat furiously, eventually ejecting a large black mosquito.

Realizing it was a mosquito, he became nauseous, stumbling to the nearest trash can and vomiting everything he had just eaten, including the stolen cookies and his own.

With his face as white as a sheet, Wen Zifei hunched over the trash can, retching as if the world were ending. Meanwhile, the other kids, oblivious to his plight, couldn’t stop laughing as they remembered what had just happened.

Gu Beiyan laughed so hard that he couldn’t stay seated, and even the normally cold-faced Chu Qi was fighting to keep her lips from twitching into a smile.

Yuanyuan, still clueless about what had happened, blinked through the tears in her eyes. She hadn’t seen anything because she had been crying too hard.

It wasn’t until she heard the laughter that Yuanyuan wiped away her tears and followed their gazes to see Wen Zifei hunched over, vomiting into the trash can.

“What’s going on?” Yuanyuan asked, her tear-streaked face filled with confusion as she tilted her head.

Gu Beiyan was laughing so hard he was almost gasping for air. He patted Yuanyuan’s shoulder and wheezed, “Haha, Yuanyuan, you did it! That was amazing!”

His uncontrollable laughter nearly caused him to fall off his chair. The other kids weren’t much better, all shaking with laughter.

Yuanyuan turned to Chu Qi, the only one who seemed to be holding it together. “Qi Qi, what’s going on? Why is everyone laughing?”

Barely containing her own giggles, Chu Qi replied, “You didn’t see? When you were crying, you blew a mosquito right into Wen Zifei’s mouth.”

Yuanyuan’s eyes widened in disbelief as she slowly shook her head.

“He ended up eating it!” Chu Qi added, her shoulders trembling as she tried to hold back her laughter.

Just then, Wen Zifei finally lifted his head from the trash can and yelled furiously, “I didn’t eat it! I did not eat a mosquito!!”

But it was too late. The other kids had already run outside, chanting, “Wen Zifei ate a mosquito! Wen Zifei ate a mosquito!” Their voices echoed, spreading the “news” far and wide.

Wen Zifei, his face red with embarrassment, wiped his mouth and pointed a shaking finger at Yuanyuan. “You just wait!”

With that, he stormed off in a huff, leaving behind a whirlwind of humiliation.

Yuanyuan, still biting her finger in confusion, asked, “Why does he want me to wait? Does he want to eat more mosquitoes?”

Gu Beiyan collapsed into another fit of laughter, clutching his stomach. “Yuanyuan, you’re so bad!”

Yuanyuan frantically waved her hands. “Yuanyuan is a good girl!”

Chu Qi, watching Yuanyuan’s innocent expression, could tell she had no ill intentions. Her mind was just too pure, so simple that she might not even realize when she was being bullied.

After another fun activity class, it was finally time for lunch—a moment Yuanyuan had been eagerly waiting for.

Each child received a personalized meal tray, and they lined up to choose their food. Being a prestigious kindergarten, the variety of food was astounding, and Yuanyuan’s eyes lit up with excitement.

“Wow, so much yummy food! It smells so good!” Yuanyuan exclaimed, bouncing in place with her tray. “I want this, and this, and that too!”

Seeing how cute she was, the lunch lady couldn’t resist giving her a bit more, smiling warmly as she said, “Eat more so you can grow up tall and strong.”

Yuanyuan wasn’t too concerned about growing taller—her mind was fully occupied with getting all the delicious food into her warm, happy belly as soon as possible.

With her tray full, she turned around, only to feel something trip her from behind. In an instant, her sense of balance vanished, and the joyous expression on her face was replaced with pure panic.
