Chapter 97: Nice to the Touch
Three years ago, Fei Li’s hurtful actions were scenes that Luo Sang still dared not forget.
Especially when he thought about all that Fei Li had done for him, Luo Sang’s heart was filled with guilt, deepening his resentment toward Hu Yin.
But ultimately, it was his own carelessness that had led him to fall for Hu Yin’s tricks.
Every time he thought of these things, Luo Sang felt a mix of emotions.
Seemingly sensing Luo Sang’s thoughts, Fei Li leaned closer and whispered mischievously in his ear, “If you feel sorry for me, how about a little compensation in flesh?”
Hearing this, Luo Sang felt a tightness in his throat, and his breathing quickened.
“Am I not enough for you?”
“No.” Fei Li shook his head. “What I mean is…” Fei Li’s voice trailed off, becoming softer, and the warm breath he exhaled brushed against Luo Sang’s ear, making his heart flutter.
Realizing Fei Li’s intention, Luo Sang didn’t think twice before rejecting him. “You little rascal, you probably don’t have the ability to pin me down.”
As soon as he said this, Luo Sang mischievously pinched Fei Li’s firm backside.
Hmm, the touch is nice!
Recently, his body seemed somewhat different than before, becoming more alluring.
Could it be that he’s carrying their little one?
He had heard that when someone was pregnant, their body would indeed undergo some changes.
Luo Sang couldn’t help but scrutinize Fei Li from head to toe. “Fei Li, have you been feeling unwell lately?”
“No!” He blinked his dark eyes.
Was feeling sore all over from Luo Sang’s roughness considered unwell?
Getting no satisfactory answer only made Luo Sang feel a twinge of disappointment.
While the two were teasing each other, the Tiger orc sneaked away to rush back and inform Hu Yin.
Inside, Hu Yin was talking with Qian Shi when the Tiger orc burst in, flustered.
“Lord Hu Yin, it’s bad!” The Tiger orc panted heavily, unable to catch his breath.
Hu Yin frowned, his expression darkening. “What happened?”
“Luo Sang and that human have returned, they’re already in the tribe.”
“What?” Qian Shi reacted first.
Last time, they had planned to take advantage of Luo Sang and Fei Li being alone outside to kill them.
Who would have thought that [1]“their attempt to steal a chicken would lead to a loss of rice” is a Chinese idiom (偷鸡不成蚀把米), which means that someone tried to gain a small advantage or benefit (like … Continue readingtheir attempt to steal a chicken would lead to a loss of rice, and they nearly died on the way?
This time, the two had delivered themselves right to their door, and they wouldn’t let them go no matter what.
Hu Yin glanced at Qian Shi, “This is your chance to shine, if you can’t get rid of them this time, you should know the consequences.”
Since Luo Sang escaped from the Tiger Tribe three years ago, his hatred for them had grown tremendously.
Having such a strong opponent like Luo Sang made Hu Yin’s situation extremely difficult.
“Don’t worry! This time, I will ensure they don’t return.”
“May I ask who you plan to ensure won’t return?”
Before Hu Yin could respond to Qian Shi, a familiar voice came from the doorway.
The three people in the room turned to look, and Hu Yin was frozen in place.
The long-haired man was the same one he had seen in the mermaid tribe, why was he here?
Seeing the strange look in Hu Yin’s eyes, Fei Li smiled. “Don’t recognize me?”
“You’re Fei Li?” Hu Yin asked cautiously.
“Yes, thanks to you, I’ve become what I am now. Don’t you think I’m more handsome?”
Despite Fei Li speaking with a smile, it made Hu Yin feel very depressed.
This human had become so powerful?
Seeing Hu Yin silent, Fei Li turned to Qian Shi. “Hey, old friend, I didn’t expect you to still have the face to hang around the Tiger Tribe. Good thing, I won’t have to search all over for you to settle accounts, let’s settle both old and new grudges today!”
“Don’t be too arrogant. Do you think this is just any place? This is the Tiger Tribe, not somewhere you can come and go as you please.”
Fei Li gave Qian Shi a thumbs-up. “You’re right, this is indeed the Tiger Tribe, but whether I want to stay or leave, you really can’t stop me.”
Luo Sang coldly glared at Hu Yin and Qian Shi, it was time to settle the scores from three years ago.
Qian Shi, embarrassed by the confrontation, bared his teeth at Fei Li, his hands hanging at his sides subtly revealing sharp claws.
“No need for you to take action, I’ll handle it.” Luo Sang shielded Fei Li behind him.
“Alright!”
Fei Li was more than happy to leave these two losers to Luo Sang.
Seeing Luo Sang speak, Hu Yin’s expression changed. “Luo Sang, for the past three years, you’ve seen the Tiger Tribe as a thorn in your side, are you really trying to wipe out the Tiger Tribe today without a second thought?” Luo Sang looked at Hu Yin with eyes full of disdain.
If it weren’t for Hu Yin, how could he have harmed Fei Li, and why had he been separated from Fei Li for so long?
At the root of it all, Hu Yin was the real culprit.
“Luo Sang, can’t you see my sincere feelings for you?”
“Sincere feelings? Save your sincerity for someone else! I can’t handle it.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Luo Sang kicked at Qian Shi, who had been sneaking closer.
Unexpectedly, while dealing with Hu Yin, Luo Sang discovered Qian Shi and sent him tumbling to the ground.
“Fool.” Hu Yin coldly glanced at the fallen Qian Shi.
At this moment, the Tiger Tribe orcs arrived, surrounding Hu Yin’s house tightly, intending to ensure that Luo Sang and Fei Li would not return.
Hu Yin sat on a stone bench, smiling as he looked at Luo Sang with a triumphant gaze. “You’d better pray that you still have the luck you had last time!”
Last time?
Fei Li suddenly realized, “It seems that the trap outside the cave last time was indeed dug by you.”
“You’re not too stupid after all.” Given the situation, Hu Yin had no intention of hiding anything.
With a cold smile curling at the corners of his mouth, Fei Li looked at Luo Sang’s tall figure. “It seems they want to court death, we might as well help them out.”
“I’ll just follow your lead.” Luo Sang turned around, gazing at him gently.
At this critical moment, Hu Yin decided not to sit back and wait for death. He exchanged a glance with the orcs outside.
The Tiger Tribe orcs took a combat stance, preparing to charge into the house.
Fei Li glanced back at the Tiger Tribe orcs outside, waved his long arm, and set up a barrier at the entrance.
In an instant, the inside and outside of the house became two different worlds.
“What did you do?” Hu Yin felt somewhat afraid about Fei Li’s abilities.
With a smile, Fei Li casually replied, “Of course, I’m just accumulating some good karma for you and to avoid harming the innocent.”
No one else should bear the consequences of Hu Yin’s mistakes!
Upon hearing this, Hu Yin’s face turned extremely grim.
Qian Shi had risen silently at some point, standing behind Hu Yin without a word.
At this moment, only the two orcs were left in the room, fully aware that they were no match for Fei Li and Luo Sang.
Qian Shi covered his pained chest and stopped struggling futilely. “What do you want? If you’re going to kill us, just do it, I won’t even frown.”
After all, he was once the leader of the Lion Tribe, and faced with death, Qian Shi had gained some [2]“Backbone” refers to strength of character, determination, or courage, especially in difficult situations. Seeing that Qian Shi had no intention of fighting back, Hu Yin yelled, “Qian Shi, you useless piece of trash, are you really going to give up like this?”
“Quiet down,” Fei Li said, raising a hand to seal Hu Yin’s mouth with spiritual energy.
Hu Yin couldn’t speak and could only stare anxiously.
The small room finally fell silent, and Luo Sang showed his claws, preparing to move toward the two.
“Wait, we can’t just let them off easy.”
Luo Sang turned to Fei Li, “What do you want to do?”
Fei Li didn’t speak, but a sly smile curled at the corners of his mouth.
The two brought Hu Yin and Qian Shi to the embankment of the rice fields.
Both Hu Yin and Qian Shi were utterly confused.
“What are you bringing us here for?” Hu Yin glanced at the already dried-up rice plants.
“To water my field.”
Water the field?
Hu Yin and Qian Shi frowned, completely unable to understand his words.
Luo Sang, on the side, smirked and casually found a stone to sit on, quietly watching Fei Li torment the two orcs.
Pointing at the cracked field, Fei Li continued, “There’s a small river over there, you need to fill the field with water to revive my rice.”
Hu Yin and Qian Shi turned to look at the small river and then back at the rice paddy.
Is he crazy?
With the field in such a state of dryness, when would they ever be able to fill it with water?
“What are you still dawdling for? Get to work.”
As he finished speaking, Fei Li kicked the two orcs, urging them to take action.
As leaders, Hu Yin and Qian Shi were unwilling to do such menial labor and stood still without moving.
“What’s wrong? Are you unwilling?”
Hu Yin replied, “If you’re going to kill us, just do it, don’t think you can make us your slaves.”
In primitive tribes, slaves are the lowest of the low, and they would never willingly degrade themselves to become slaves.
“Killing you?” Fei Li shook his head. “If I kill you, who’s going to water the field for me?”
After saying that, Fei Li no longer had the patience to waste words with them.
He used his spiritual energy to accurately hit the pressure points of the two orcs, rendering them unable to move.
Then he took out a herb from his pocket, tore off a few leaves, and stuffed them directly into the mouths of the two orcs.
After the herbs were swallowed, he struck their pressure points again.
“Cough, cough—” After a few sudden coughs, Hu Yin and Qian Shi glared at him fiercely.
“What did you make us eat?” Hu Yin looked as if he wanted to devour him.
Fei Li smiled, “Something that will make you obedient.”
After saying that, he playfully snapped his fingers, and it was as if Hu Yin and Qian Shi’s bodies were controlled, making them involuntarily start working.
Watching the two orcs begin to water the field, Fei Li walked over to Luo Sang and sat beside him, satisfied.
Luo Sang withdrew his gaze from the two orcs. “What did you give them?”
“This is some wild grass I collected from the place where the spiritual spring disappeared. I didn’t know what effect it would have, I didn’t expect it to come in handy.”
“Wild grass?” Can wild grass really make them act like this?
Noticing Luo Sang’s confusion, Fei Li chuckled, “Actually, I just guessed that these wild grasses would absorb the spiritual energy from the spring. Now it seems my guess was correct, that spiritual energy is currently controlling their bodies.”
Luo Sang glanced again at the busy, watering orcs, remaining silent.
Fei Li pulled Luo Sang up. “Let’s go! We’ll leave this to them.”
As the two returned to the tribe, Mao Li came out to greet them, accompanied by the other tribe members.
Everyone stood neatly on either side, showing joyful expressions as they looked at the two.
“Lord Luo Sang, Lord Fei Li, you’re finally back!”
Fei Li responded with a smile to the crowd, “Don’t just stand here, it’s hot and you must be hungry.”
