Mutual Crush
Mutual Crush Chapter 8

“Not at all, I’m very healthy. I just had a physical exam last month, and I can show you the report.”

I didn’t want to hear him ramble on any longer, so I stood on my tiptoes and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into my embrace.

“Then focus.”

My kiss landed on his lips, sealing the words he hadn’t spoken.

He quickly reacted and took the initiative.

His tongue boldly explored my mouth.

His kissing skills were quite average, wasting the gift of a good tongue.

As I thought about this, I suddenly wanted to teach him. After all, this was about my future happiness and enjoyment.

I gently guided him, leading him from shallow to deep, kissing slowly.

He gradually started to gain experience, each kiss touching on the feelings I liked but never fully satisfying me.

The pleasure of being a teacher turned into annoyance.

Teaching a disciple, the one who suffers is the master.

I didn’t want to be manipulated by him, so I tugged at the collar of his T-shirt and led him to the bed.

He thoughtfully supported the back of my head with his hand as he climbed onto me.

I didn’t stop my hands either; while kissing, I started to untie the drawstring of his gray sweatpants.

His pants slid down to his ankles.

In the chaotic moments between kisses, I caught a glimpse of pink Patrick Star underwear.

“You look good in pink.”

I complimented him as he kissed my lower abdomen.

“But you look even better without it.”

He said this while gently biting the edge of my SpongeBob underwear, tugging it down softly.

When my mom knocked on the door, I was so sleepy I could barely open my eyes.

When I reached out to feel beside me, I realized there was no one there.

“Mom.”

I mumbled toward the door. “After tossing and turning all night, I can’t get up.”

My mom’s voice was muffled outside the door.

I helplessly covered my face with my hands.

Good soundproofing isn’t always a good thing.

I opened the door and saw my mom already dressed up and looking exquisite.

“My son-in-law is making breakfast~”

She looked at me with a teasing tone.

“If you’re late, there won’t be any~”

After saying that, she turned and went downstairs.

Lin Yu-fei was making breakfast…

I pictured him shirtless, tying an apron around himself.

Suddenly, I was wide awake.

My mom and I stood side by side at the kitchen door.

Watching Lin Yu-fei busy in the kitchen, looking vibrant and lively.

“His figure is really good.”

My mom sighed.

“Your boyfriend has a good figure too.”

I wrapped my arm around my mom’s shoulder.

“I saw him the other day; he doesn’t seem much older than me.”

When my mom noticed my gaze on Lin Yu-fei wasn’t innocent, I, of course, could also tell that the guy was looking at my mom with an inappropriate gaze!

“You must be mistaken.”

My mom turned to look at me.

“He’s in his thirties.”

I was shocked and looked at her, seeing her radiating happiness, clearly enjoying the warmth of a good relationship.

“Congratulations! A man in his thirties can still be this disciplined; he must be a tough character.”

I gave her a thumbs up in approval.

“Breakfast is ready.”

Lin Yu-fei turned around, and when he saw my mom, his face flushed red again.

“Ah, good morning, Auntie.”

He carried a plate, lowered his head, quickly placed the breakfast on the dining table, and then turned to sneak back into the kitchen.

“Wait a minute.”

My mom called out to him as he passed by us.

“Change what you call me.”

She walked to the living room and took out a red envelope.

“From now on, call me Mom.”

Let alone Lin Yu-fei, I was also taken aback.

“What are you doing?”

I nudged my mom’s arm, looking at Lin Yu-fei, who was frozen in place.

“We’ve only been together for a few days.”

I reached out to snatch the red envelope from her hand.

But I didn’t notice that Lin Yu-fei’s expression darkened when I spoke.

“What are you talking about?”

My mom turned to me.

“You didn’t think seriously about this?”

She turned her back to Lin Yu-fei, indicating with her eyes. I understood her hint and quickly explained.

“I’m obviously serious! What I mean is, it’s only been a few days, and you want him to call you Mom without asking if he’s willing.”

My mom turned to look at Lin Yu-fei.

“Xiao Fei, do you want to?”

Lin Yu-fei looked at me and gently spoke.

“If Jiang Yun doesn’t want to, then forget it.”

This time, I noticed his eyes darkened again as he spoke.

My mom faced Lin Yu-fei.

“You don’t need to worry about him; I’m asking you if you want to.”

Lin Yu-fei raised his head, courageously meeting my mom’s eyes for the first time.

“If Jiang Yun is willing, then I’m willing.”

My mom seemed dissatisfied with this answer and repeated herself.

“I asked if you wanted to.”

Lin Yu-fei turned his head to look at me, but my mom stepped in front of him.

His hands, hanging at his sides, clenched tightly, as if he had made a certain determination.

“I want to.”

I peeked out from behind my mom to see Lin Yu-fei.

His eyes were red, making me feel particularly heartbroken.

I knew that Lin Yu-fei’s mother had abandoned him when he was young, and he had no memories of a mother figure.

But witnessing him face this scar brought me pain, like a knife cutting through my heart.

I understood that my mom wanted to love him, to give him a family, and help him heal the wounds in his heart.

However, the memories were still too painful.

“Hubby.”

I rushed over to hug him, letting him rest his head on my chest.

“From now on, this is your home; we will never be apart.”

“Mm.”

Lin Yu-fei’s voice was choked, sounding wronged like a child.

“Mom, Mama.”

He lifted his teary eyes to look at my mom.

“Ah.”

My mom happily hugged both of us.

“This is great; painless and I get to be a mom.”

She laughed happily.

And after checking the balance in my card, I was smiling even more than her.

After changing how we addressed each other, Lin Yu-fei’s stays at my home noticeably increased.

He slowly became more comfortable around my mom.

My mom really liked his visits; the meals he prepared were tastier than what the family chef made, offering a different homely flavor.

I also liked his visits because he was even better than the food.

Before the school year started, Lin Yu-fei suggested going to Qi Jinlin’s house to play, saying that the sea near their place was cleaner than ours.

“Just in time for you guys to return to school together; I support it.”

My mom said as she picked up a piece of braised pork and sent it to her mouth.
