Traveling to Ancient Times: Bringing Billions of Supplies to Raise the Villain’s Cub Chapter 1: Transmigrated as the Cannon Fodder Female Supporting Character in a Novel

“Help… Don’t kill me!”

The night was as dark as ink.

Under the blood moon, a woman covered in blood was desperately running through the forest.

“Roar!”

A beastly roar filled with murderous intent echoed from behind her.

It sounded like death itself was chasing her, and the woman was so terrified that her legs gave out, causing her to trip and fall.

“Don’t come closer! I don’t want to die! You can’t kill me…”

She screamed, crawling forward, but her legs were already tightly entangled by thick black vines.

In despair, she looked back.

A terrifying black dragon, with its gaping jaws, loomed dangerously close.

The next second, her limbs were mercilessly torn apart, blood and flesh flying in all directions. The dragon’s hateful eyes reflected the splattered blood.

“Ahhh!!”

Her heart-wrenching screams echoed through the forest for what seemed like an eternity.

Hu Jiaojiao woke up from her dream in a cold sweat, terrified.

It was too horrifying—she had dreamt that she had become a cannon fodder supporting character in the beast world novel she had recently read, and was ripped apart by the villain.

The dream felt incredibly real—the despair, the fear, and even the excruciating pain of having her limbs torn apart. It all felt like she had truly experienced it.

Hu Jiaojiao could hardly tell what was real and what was a dream.

“Hu Jiaojiao, how shameless can you be? You actually used a mandrake fruit on Ying Yuan. Disgusting!”

“Ying Yuan is in love with Mian’er. Even if you throw yourself at him, he’d never look at a female like you. Just leave already. Stop embarrassing yourself.”

A voice filled with anger and disdain came from behind her.

Hu Jiaojiao turned around to see a burly woman pointing at her, her face twisted in disgust as she yelled.

The woman had short brown hair, an ordinary face, and was dressed like a savage, with large, tanned muscles exposed, as though she could crush Hu Jiaojiao’s head with a single punch.

“Uh, are you… talking to me?” Hu Jiaojiao asked, bewildered, pointing to herself.

The name Ying Yuan sounded familiar.

She glanced around. It was just her and this strange woman. The surroundings were unfamiliar—dense foliage, a wooden hut nearby, and strange sounds coming from within, though she had no time to investigate that.

“My name is Hu Jiaojiao, but I don’t understand what you’re talking about. You must have mistaken me for someone else,” Hu Jiaojiao explained politely before asking the most pressing question on her mind.

“Could you tell me, where am I?”

“Hu Jiaojiao! Stop pretending. Yingyuan is already mating with Mian’er. A shameless creature like you only deserves to mate with that worthless Long Mo. Trash like you and him, are a perfect match!”

Hu Jing, had seen through Hu Jiaojiao’s antics before and thought this was just another of her tricks. Her face was full of scorn and disdain.

Long… Long Mo?

Isn’t that the villain from the beast world novel?! A powerful dragon beastman who, after turning evil, became one of the strongest characters in the book!

Could it be… she had transmigrated into the novel?

Hu Jiaojiao was hit with the realization like a bolt of lightning. Stumbling forward, she urgently asked, “How do you know my name is Hu Jiaojiao? Is it ‘Hu’ as in ‘fox’ or ‘Hu’ as in the surname?”

When reading the novel, she had joked about how her name sounded exactly like the supporting character’s, so she remembered the plot involving her quite clearly.

In the story, the character Hu Jiaojiao had been spoiled rotten, selfish, and willful. She was obsessed with the male lead, Ying Yuan, even resorting to dirty tricks to win his favor.

But he was the male lead, and she was nothing but cannon fodder!

In a fit of anger, the female lead, Lu Mian’er, threw Hu Jiaojiao onto the big villain’s bed. As a result, she ended up sleeping with the villain and even gave birth to a litter of cubs. Filled with resentment, Hu Jiaojiao took out her frustrations on the cubs, abusing them daily, which led to the entire tribe—except for her parents and brother—despising her.

Just thinking about the scenes from her dream becoming reality made Hu Jiaojiao shudder. She had read the later parts of the book, where Hu Jiaojiao was torn limb from limb by the big villain but didn’t die. She was saved by the cubs, but not out of love; they saved her only to torture her day and night, making her life a living hell—wishing for death but unable to die. She was by far the most tragic character in the book!

“Crazy woman, get lost!” Hu Jing sneered at her like she was looking at a lunatic, rudely shoving Hu Jiaojiao aside. “You must’ve knocked your brain loose.”

“Ah…”

Before Hu Jiaojiao could react, she was pushed to the ground. The sharp stones on the ground left numerous small cuts on her arms, and a wave of dizziness hit her. She instinctively touched the back of her head, where the pain was throbbing, and brought her hand in front of her eyes.

Blood! When had she been injured?

Suddenly, a female voice came from behind, “Hu Jing, forget it. Let her be.”

Hu Jiaojiao, despite the pain, looked up at the speaker.

The woman’s appearance was as gentle as her voice. Her delicate face was flushed as though covered in thick blush, and there were teeth marks on her swollen lips. Her petite body was wrapped in yellow animal skin, with exposed skin marked with ambiguous bruises and love bites.

“Mian’er, have you finished mating with Ying Yuan?”

Hearing her voice, Hu Jing happily ran over with large strides.

“Mmm,” Lu Mian’er nodded shyly.

Relieved by her answer, Hu Jing turned to glare at Hu Jiaojiao. “Did you hear that? Ying Yuan is Mian’er’s mate now. Get lost.”

As she listened to their conversation and remembered the intimate sounds she had overheard earlier, Hu Jiaojiao finally understood.

She had transmigrated into the moment when the male and female leads were mating.

The original Hu Jiaojiao had despised the villain. Even though she had given birth to his cubs, she still longed for Ying Yuan. She had somehow found a Mandrake fruit with aphrodisiac properties and tricked Ying Yuan into eating it, hoping to force the situation. But Lu Mian’er caught her in the act and pushed her, causing the original Hu Jiaojiao to hit her head and pass out.

Lu Mian’er then conveniently helped Ying Yuan solve his “problem.”

The original character was truly a pitiful cannon fodder… too tragic.

As Hu Jiaojiao recalled the ambiguous marks on Lu Mian’er’s body, she couldn’t help but click her tongue. No wonder Ying Yuan was the male lead—he was wild!

Wait!

Now that she had become Hu Jiaojiao, wasn’t the tragedy her fate?

Hu Jiaojiao, no—Fox Jiao Jiao—stood there in shock. She didn’t want to be torn apart by the villain!

On the verge of tears, she scrambled up from the ground.

Hu Jing, on guard, watched her every move, thinking she might cause another scene.

“Um… I just have one question. I’ll leave as soon as you answer it,” Hu Jiaojiao raised her hand timidly, sensing the hostility in Hu Jing’s gaze. “Could you please tell me where my home is?”

Hu Jiaojiao remembered that one of the main reasons the villain turned evil was because the original character despised him and abandoned both him and the cubs, running away. The first thing the villain did after turning dark was kill her in a fit of rage.

But if the villain didn’t turn evil, wouldn’t she be able to avoid that tragic fate?

She needed to rush home and win over the villain and the cubs.

But she only knew the story, not the original character’s memories, so she had no idea where here home was!

Feeling mocked, Hu Jing’s veins bulged in anger. Unable to take it anymore, she raised her fist and roared, “Hu Jiaojiao! Enough with the act, get lost already!”

“I’m leaving, I’m leaving!”

Terrified, Hu Jiaojiao clutched her head and ran as fast as she could…
