Chapter 12 Good Girl, Tempting to Bully.
On the other side, Qin Mo dropped Jiang Wansheng off at Fuhua University and then returned to “Guangcheng.”
In the private room on the third floor, Pei Que sat with his legs open on the central leather sofa, a playful smile playing at the corner of his mouth.
“Qin Mo, in a fit of anger for a beauty, smashing three bottles of Remy Martin, what a heroic deed.”
Qin Mo chuckled, “You seem idle, still have time to watch the show.”
“Even if I’m busy, I can’t miss my brother’s courtship process.” Pei Que’s peach blossom eyes narrowed slightly, “You used to be so disdainful, like a block of ice, I thought you would end up lonely and old.”
Qin Mo leaned on his elbows, legs crossed, casually swaying his glass.
Pei Que moved closer to Qin Mo, one arm resting on his shoulder, subtly glancing down, “Brother, those things you haven’t used in twenty-six years, don’t let them age, keep them fresh by using them often.”
Qin Mo chuckled, “Stay away from me, you’re too flirtatious.”
Pei Que moved away with a smile, lazily leaning back on the sofa, exuding a rogue and unrestrained vibe, “Tsk, the old virgin can’t stand our spring-like atmosphere.”
Pei Que had been dating a female college student abroad for almost a year, a fact known to both Qin Mo and Chen Yu.
Qin Mo gave him a side glance and sneered, “Beast.”
At his words, Pei Que raised an eyebrow, accepting it with satisfaction, “Likewise.”
Qin Mo ignored Pei Que, took out his phone, and found no new friend requests.
He squinted for a while, then poured the amber liquid from his glass into his mouth, his smooth throat moving up and down.
The cold white neck tightened, exuding a seductive aura.
Heartless.
Forget about her when he gets back.
Pei Que looked at Qin Mo’s frustrated expression, feeling inexplicably pleased.
This guy had never waited for anyone’s message in his life.
Whoever the heavens spared, he was damn happy.
He casually opened his girlfriend’s WeChat, then casually played the voice message she had just sent.
“Are you taking the plane tomorrow? I’ll come pick you up.”
The girl’s voice was loose and charming, with a teasing tone, not inferior to Pei Que.
Qin Mo’s gaze shifted over, and Pei Que smirked smugly.
He replied, “No need, babe, just wait for me at home.”
Qin Mo admitted, this guy disgusted him.
“You’re proud of being a kept man.”
Pei Que’s girlfriend was studying abroad, and he spent the whole year finding opportunities to go abroad. When she was unhappy, he would go to great lengths to please her, spending quite a bit of money.
“I’ll take that as jealousy on your part.”
Qin Mo sneered and looked at his phone again.
He lazily scrolled up and down a few times, and finally, a friend request arrived.
He hesitated for a moment, then his sharp white fingers tapped on the phone.
After accepting, he opened her profile.
Her profile picture was a cute hand-drawn cartoon cat, and her name was “Sheng Shengwan,” composed of the last two characters of her name, with a poetic touch, paired with the silly little cat, it was somewhat comical.
Qin Mo leaned back, one elbow on the armrest, lazily supporting his head, looking intently.
However, Jiang Wansheng’s Moments were visible for three days, with not much content.
He went back and found no messages on the chat interface.
Qin Mo sighed lightly and had to compromise, taking the initiative to send a message.
The girl’s reply was as obedient as ever.
Since she was about to sleep, he didn’t plan to disturb her further.
Unexpectedly, she sent a few more messages, along with a silly cat emoji with a heart.
Qin Mo’s cold and aloof eyes fell on this emoji, and for a moment, a slight smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Good girl.
A bit tempting to bully.
——
During this time, Jiang Wansheng had been thinking of sending some snacks to Qin Mo, but this week had been a bit busy, and she hadn’t had a large chunk of time available. Finally, she made it to the weekend.
On Friday, Jiang Wansheng sent a WeChat message to Senior Ling Nan, asking when she could use the baking house over the weekend.
Ling Nan quickly replied: [Anytime is fine. The photos of you making cookies here last time attracted many new members. I was wondering how to thank you. Whenever you need it, I’ll open the door for you.]
Jiang Wansheng: [Senior, wait for me, I’ll go confirm the time.]
After confirming that she could borrow the baking house, Jiang Wansheng went to ask Qin Mo.
Jiang Wansheng: [Uncle Mo, are you free this weekend?]
Half an hour later, Qin Mo replied: [Yes.]
Jiang Wansheng: [Can I make some snacks for you? Are you free tomorrow at 3 p.m.?]
Qin Mo: [You coming to deliver?]
Jiang Wansheng: [Weizhao happens to be returning to Chongfei Garden tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. She said she can help bring it over.]
She had a group discussion tomorrow afternoon and couldn’t make it, so Qin Weizhao was on the way.
Qin Mo: [I’m busy, won’t be back to Chongfei Garden tomorrow.]
After some thought, Jiang Wansheng asked again: [What about after 5 p.m.?]
If she were to deliver, she would have to wait until after the group discussion ended.
Qin Mo replied quickly: [That works. Do you still remember the address of Luqiu Mingdu?]
Jiang Wansheng had stayed with him overnight before and still remembered the exact location.
Jiang Wansheng: [I remember.]
Jiang Wansheng: [I’ll bring it over at that time.]
Qin Mo: [Okay.]
Jiang Wansheng confirmed the time with Ling Nan, who readily agreed.
…
On Saturday morning at 8 a.m., Jiang Wansheng went to the baking house. Making Chinese pastries was a bit challenging, and she only finished near noon.
In the end, she made four types of flower pastries: peach blossom pastry, pear blossom pastry, chrysanthemum pastry, and plum blossom pastry. Two of each kind, with edible color dots on top of each petal, delicate and beautiful.
She placed them in a wooden snack box, ready to deliver in the afternoon.
…
At 4:30 p.m., Jiang Wansheng hurriedly finished the group discussion, grabbed the wooden box, and took a taxi to Luqiu Mingdu.
Located in the downtown area, Luqiu Mingdu was a high-end residential area with lush greenery, moderate building spacing, and a focus on privacy.
Relying on memory, she found Building 6, took the elevator straight to the top floor.
As the elevator arrived, she walked to the door.
Raising her hand, she knocked on the door.
With both hands holding the handle of the wooden box, she waited for someone to come and open the door.
Hearing the doorbell, Qin Mo got up and walked to the door.
Through the indoor screen, the girl stood gracefully at the door.
Today, she was wearing a white V-neck shirt dress, with fluffy black hair, fair skin, soft and beautiful features, standing quietly exuding a sense of ethereal beauty.
His heart softened, and a hint of warmth crept into his cold eyes.
Jiang Wansheng stood at the door, unaware of the man’s gaze at the moment.
Every time she faced Qin Mo, she felt restrained, but thinking of the last time, her nervousness would ease a bit.
After all, Uncle Mo was a very good person.
The dark gray door made a sound, opening from inside.
A tall figure entered her view.
She was a bit stunned.
A damp mist carrying a hint of cold wood fragrance hit her face. He had obviously just taken a shower, with his black hair still damp, and his cold white skin wrapped in a pure black home outfit, the extreme contrast of black and white exuded a highly aggressive desire.
He looked at her with half-lowered eyes, his pupils pitch black and deep.
She felt her cheeks heat up inexplicably and quickly averted her gaze.
“Uncle Mo.” She raised the box in her hand a bit, “These are the flower pastries I made this morning.”
Qin Mo didn’t take it, gazing at her, and softly said, “Not coming in?”
