Chapter 17 He saw the future from her eyes.
Qin Mo looked at the disheveled woman in his arms, her black hair damp, and her clothes mostly wet.
There was a forced smile on the corner of her mouth, clearly a soft and pleasant smile, but he felt uncomfortable and annoyed.
“Come with me.”
Jiang Wansheng wanted to refuse, “It’s okay, Fuhua University is not far ahead, I’ll just go to the dormitory to tidy up later.”
Qin Mo suppressed the anger in his heart, but his voice was still cold, “Jiang Wansheng, I have a bad temper.”
Jiang Wansheng suddenly came to his senses. During this period of time together, she seemed to have almost forgotten that this person was the Third Young Master of the Qin Family in Jingcheng, with a notoriously bad temper that no one dared to provoke.
Seeing Jiang Wansheng’s appearance, Qin Mo knew that this little girl had very little courage, and scaring her a bit would make her obedient, “So, don’t stand here, I’ll take you back to Chongfei Garden.”
He predicted what Jiang Wansheng would say and directly said, “It must trouble me.”
“…” Jiang Wansheng wisely kept quiet and let him pull her away.
When sitting in the car, Jiang Wansheng’s body was all wet, and she felt a bit uncomfortable sitting on the expensive seat underneath her.
The car was warm inside, but Qin Mo’s aura was really low.
She dared not look directly at him, so she simply turned her head to look outside.
Qin Mo’s voice suddenly sounded, “Were you kicked out?”
Jiang Wansheng awkwardly turned her head, “Yes.”
“Just being kicked out shouldn’t make you look so lost and disheartened.” He hit the nail on the head, “What else happened?”
Jiang Wansheng was silent for two seconds, then spoke with a hint of self-disgust, “My mother called, just to tell me… she doesn’t welcome me.”
There was a moment of silence in the car.
“Jiang Wansheng, your birth and existence are not at fault. Since they chose to bring you into this world, they should be prepared to raise and love you, but obviously your parents did not.”
“You are just a sacrifice under their failed marriage and immature thinking, you are not at fault.”
“Don’t pay for people who don’t cherish you with your emotions and energy, understand?”
“You will receive a lot of love because you deserve it and are worthy of it.”
– You are not at fault.
– You are worthy and deserving.
Such precious words.
Jiang Wansheng’s voice sounded weary, “Uncle, I understand. It’s just that I need time.”
Qin Mo’s dark eyes were profound, feeling stifled in his heart, “But you can do it.”
She looked at him, and in the deep pool-like eyes, there seemed to be profound meaning, as if every leak and gap in her heart was filled with a warm force.
She was acutely aware that they came from Qin Mo.
Her heart suddenly beat violently.
Before she could say anything, Qin Mo suddenly chuckled, changing the subject, “Wasn’t this house arranged for you by that senior you had dinner with today? Why, not reliable?”
Jiang Wansheng’s attention was diverted, and she subconsciously retorted, “It’s not the senior’s fault, it’s his roommate’s previous house, but unexpectedly the landlord changed his mind at the last minute, I’m just a bit unlucky.”
Qin Mo’s face became even colder.
Huh.
Still defending him.
“Serves you right.”
“…”
“In the future, you will live in Chongfei Garden, conveniently with your suitcase.”
Jiang Wansheng was surprised, “But…”
“No buts, don’t you remember you owe me two requests? This is the first one.”
Jiang Wansheng never expected Qin Mo to use the requests in this way.
But,
“This is the first one?” She was a bit puzzled, “What about last time…”
“Dim sum?”
Jiang Wansheng nodded obediently, “Yes.”
Qin Mo looked straight into her eyes with his black eyes, a smirk on his lips, “When did I say that was a request?”
“?”
“Didn’t you offer to make it for me voluntarily?”
“!”
Jiang Wansheng hesitated to speak.
Qin Mo looked at the girl’s angry yet silent expression, a smile gradually spreading in his eyes, “Jiang Sweetie, don’t secretly curse me in your heart.”
This time, Jiang Wansheng couldn’t hold back, “Don’t call me Jiang Sweetie.”
Qin Mo raised his lips, looking at the girl’s slightly furrowed brow and watery clear eyes, which were now filled with accusation. He spoke lightly, “Oh.” Paused for a moment, “Jiang, Sweetie, Sweetie.”
His tone dragged lazily and long, with a teasing undertone.
She couldn’t catch her breath, turned her head, not wanting to pay attention to him.
She didn’t know before that the usually cold Third Young Master of the Qin family had a deliberate taste for provocation.
The car window reflected the girl’s slightly wrinkled delicate face, and Qin Mo calmly stared at her.
Lin Tang looked at the two through the rearview mirror.
He sighed inwardly.
No respect for the elderly, no respect at all.
Suddenly, a gaze with a hidden sharpness swept over, he quickly retracted his gaze, focusing on driving without looking away.
Driving makes me happy, I love driving.
…
The car slowly entered Chongfei Garden.
Qin Weizhao was a night owl, and the lights in the villa were still on.
Uncle didn’t know why he left with a sour face, although she didn’t know the reason, she was happy to be at ease.
She could do as she pleased in the spacious living room without being constrained by anyone.
Who knew that today’s happiness would be so short-lived.
Suddenly, the sound of fingerprint unlocking came from the door.
Qin Weizhao sighed inwardly: Why did this person come and go without giving anyone time to react?
Just as he was about to sit up properly, he saw Uncle leading her best friend in.
Qin Weizhao’s eyes widened.
Hastily approaching, “Wansheng? Why are you here?”
Upon closer inspection, Jiang Wansheng’s clothes were mostly wet.
“You got caught in the rain?”
Qin Mo stood behind Jiang Wansheng, “Take her to shower and change clothes.”
“She will live in Chongfei Garden from now on until your school starts.”
Jiang Wansheng opened her mouth, and Qin Mo spoke again, “No need to pay.”
“This is a request.”
Jiang Wansheng suddenly wanted to laugh, she understood that he was using his own way to dismantle her defenses and shackles.
With a smile in the corner of her eye, she said, “Got it, I’ll keep my word.”
Qin Mo gave her a meaningful look, his lips lightly curved, “Alright, go take a shower.”
Qin Weizhao looked puzzled as he watched the interaction between the two, feeling inexplicably superfluous.
After they finished talking, she took Jiang Wansheng upstairs, still excitedly chatting with her along the way.
As they walked up the stairs together, Jiang Wansheng, as if sensing something, stopped and turned back.
The man was still standing in his original position, his deep gaze fixed on her.
As soon as she turned her head, her gaze met his directly.
Their eyes met from a distance, the man’s gaze deep and dark.
In an instant, her heart felt like it was struck by something strong, a powerful tremor rushing through her.
At that moment, she distinctly heard the sound of her own heartbeat.
Her heart pounded.
Qin Mo hadn’t expected her to suddenly turn back, but in that instant when she turned her head, he saw the future in her eyes.
