The Bridal Crystal Shoes
Fu Rong sat beside Chi Yao, dressed in a white wedding gown that matched Chi Yao’s groom’s suit. However, Fu Rong’s outfit was a larger, more masculine version.
Despite the beautiful dress, Fu Rong didn’t come across as delicate or feminine, which made Chi Yao laugh out loud when he first saw him.
Chi Yao was the groom, and Fu Rong was the bride. Originally, Fu Rong had planned to pick up Chi Yao in the wedding car, but Chi Yao had to remind him that Fu Rong was the one getting married to him, so it was Chi Yao’s job to come pick him up.
Chi Yao had a group of groomsmen with him, including Xue Zhongming, who all wore groomsman suits as they accompanied Chi Yao to pick up Fu Rong. When they saw Fu Rong in a white wedding dress, one of them almost choked in surprise but, knowing the importance of the day, held back their laughter with all their might.
But the groom, Chi Yao, couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing as he walked in. Meanwhile, Fu Rong sat on the bed with some friends around him. Any of the bridesmaids present would’ve looked more traditionally “bridal” than the muscular Fu Rong in his dress.
When the bridesmaids arrived earlier and saw Fu Rong in the wedding gown, they thought they were seeing things. Waiting quietly beside him, they didn’t dare speak for fear they might burst out laughing, but a few sneaked photos of Fu Rong from behind, careful not to capture his face.
Fu Rong sat on the bed, waiting for Chi Yao, thinking this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Only for Chi Yao would Fu Rong go to this length.
Chi Yao walked into the room. Although they didn’t plan on any wedding pranks, Chi Yao wasn’t interested, and Fu Rong would never allow anyone to joke with him. Wearing a bridal gown was already his last limit; any more pranks, and not only would Fu Rong refuse, but Chi Yao worried that Fu Rong might throw a punch and have someone bleeding at their wedding.

They decided to skip the wedding pranks, but finding the bride’s shoes was still necessary.
Fu Rong sat there barefoot, wearing custom-made white bridal shoes, size 40, to match his wedding gown. Chi Yao began searching for his bride’s “crystal shoes,” but first, he walked up to Fu Rong and lifted his chin. Fu Rong’s brow twitched; if Chi Yao were the one wearing the dress, Fu Rong imagined he’d look incredibly beautiful and captivating. The thought stirred a possessive streak in him; he was glad he was the one in the gown and that only he could see Chi Yao’s charming side.
Fu Rong sat with a poised look, hands on his skirt, gazing up at Chi Yao. The others waited outside the room, avoiding crowding in, but a few took out their phones to capture the scene. Fu Rong shot a glare at one of them, but they shrugged, knowing Chi Yao didn’t mind.
“You look amazing today,” Chi Yao told his beautiful bride.
Do you even believe that yourself?
Fu Rong stared at Chi Yao, grabbing his waist, leaning in for a kiss, but Chi Yao pressed him back gently by the shoulders.
“I still need to find your crystal shoes; otherwise, I can’t take you with me,” Chi Yao whispered warmly by Fu Rong’s ear.
Fu Rong tightened his grip, half tempted to push Chi Yao onto the bed and kiss him firmly. But he relaxed, reminding himself that this was their wedding day. After today, Chi Yao would be his — or rather, he would be Chi Yao’s.
“Where’s the baby?” Fu Rong asked.
“In the car downstairs, being watched by a guard.” Chi Yao had brought back the same bodyguard to ensure their child stayed safe amid the wedding crowd.
Fu Rong nodded, satisfied. Chi Yao then began searching the room for his bride’s shoes, but after a thorough search, he couldn’t find them.
The other guests joined in, pulling out drawers and even lifting the bed frame a bit. Sitting on the bed, Fu Rong nearly tipped over before steadying himself again.
After almost half an hour, Chi Yao still hadn’t found the shoes — not a good omen. Finally, he turned to Fu Rong, scanning him from head to toe. Fu Rong’s wedding dress was tight at the top but flared out massively below. Chi Yao suddenly took a long stride forward and ended up straddling Fu Rong on the bed.
“Ohhh…” Gasps erupted around the room as Xue Zhongming switched his phone to video mode, capturing every second of the moment.
Chi Yao leaned down and kissed Fu Rong, who raised his hands, but Chi Yao pinned them above his head. Fu Rong’s gaze softened, and though he was pinned down, he surrendered to the kiss, letting Chi Yao have his way.
Everyone around them cheered, with some even shouting, “Lift the skirt!”
Lift the skirt? To reveal the bride’s muscles?
Chi Yao chuckled inwardly and withdrew from Fu Rong. He traced his finger over Fu Rong’s lips, and he could see the spark of desire in Fu Rong’s eyes, feeling the intensity between them.
“Hold on — now’s not the time,” Chi Yao teased. He had stoked the fire only to ask Fu Rong to hold back.
Fu Rong grabbed Chi Yao’s hand, showing him how much self-control he was exerting. “Where are the shoes?” Chi Yao asked directly.
Fu Rong only offered a small smile, leaving it to Chi Yao to find them. Already having a hunch, Chi Yao leaned in again, this time reaching under Fu Rong’s skirt, slowly feeling his way up.
The scene was a bit risqué; the bridesmaids averted their eyes, yet couldn’t resist sneaking glances. Xue Zhongming and the others were too stunned to speak and focused on taking more photos, though they knew these shots couldn’t be shared, not wanting to offend either groom.
“Got it!” Chi Yao finally pulled out both shoes, each hand holding one of the white crystal-embellished bridal shoes.
Chi Yao crouched in front of Fu Rong, taking his foot and slipping the shoe on. Standing up, he lifted Fu Rong’s chin again, sealing it with a tender kiss.
“Alright, let’s go.” Chi Yao took Fu Rong’s hand, helping him up.
Despite the wedding dress, Fu Rong stood taller than Chi Yao. Chi Yao’s figure was tall and slender, and Fu Rong’s was lean yet muscular. Standing side by side, they made quite the picture.
Now that Chi Yao had collected his bride, it was time to head to the wedding venue.
They descended the stairs with their friends, and the wedding car awaited outside. Onlookers watched with curiosity, noting that the muscular “bride” seemed even more imposing than the “groom.” Realizing the “bride” had short hair and a well-built frame, bystanders blinked in surprise.
Can It Really Be Like This?
Once they were seated in the car, Chi Yao and Fu Rong shared a ride together. Their baby, noticing both fathers, recognized Chi Yao immediately, but the other one seemed strange, dressed in an unusual outfit. The baby tilted his little face up, but upon getting closer to Fu Rong, he got scared, feeling like he was looking at a scary monster. His small mouth quivered, and tears welled up in his eyes.
Just as he was about to burst into tears, Fu Rong quickly reached out to hold his tiny hand.
“Baby, it’s me, it’s Daddy,” Fu Rong said with a gentle smile, and as soon as the familiar voice reached him, the baby blinked his big eyes.
Chi Yao laughed again, unable to hold back his laughter.
Fu Rong shot him a glance, and Chi Yao tried to restrain himself a little, though his face still shone with a wide smile.
Narrowing his eyes, Fu Rong glared at Chi Yao for a moment before pulling the baby into his arms. The baby reached out and touched Fu Rong’s face, sensing the familiar warmth of his daddy.
“Daddy!” he called out happily, though a hint of tears still shimmered in his eyes.
Fu Rong kissed the baby’s little hand.
The baby then tugged on Fu Rong’s wedding gown, pulling hard enough to tear a small piece. Chi Yao quickly moved over and scooped the baby up.
“No more pulling — this is Daddy’s bride. If you tear his outfit, Daddy will be very upset!” After spending a moment cuddling with the baby, Chi Yao and Fu Rong got back into the car, leaving the baby safely buckled into his car seat in the back.
The car procession, consisting of luxury cars each valued in the six-figure range, set off toward the hotel. Onlookers and drivers on the road gave way, understanding the high stakes if an accidental scratch occurred.
At the hotel, guests waited with a buzz of curiosity. It was a unique wedding, with two grooms. Many wondered if they would both be in traditional tuxedos, as they had never attended a wedding like this.
Both men were strikingly handsome, but especially Fu Rong, who was a heartthrob to many. Over the years, many had tried to pursue him, yet Fu Rong seemed uninterested in anyone. Though he might smile at someone, anyone with a keen eye could see his smile was often cool and detached, lacking any warmth or genuine emotion.
Some guests crowded by the windows, while others went outside to the hotel entrance. This hotel, owned by Fu Rong, was closed for other business today, reserved solely for this celebration.
As the wedding procession rolled up to the hotel entrance, everyone craned their necks, eager to catch a glimpse of the couple.
Chi Yao was the first to step out, dressed in a pure white tuxedo. Turning back to hold the door, it was clear Fu Rong was inside.
When Fu Rong finally stepped out, gasps filled the air, uncontrollable expressions of surprise.
A tall… man in a wedding dress emerged from the car.
