The wedding had a host, but Fu Rong barely listened to anything they said, his eyes and attention focused solely on Chi Yao. He thought to himself that he was finally marrying him.
A year ago, if anyone had told Fu Rong he would love this man, or even fall in love, he would have thought they were dreaming.
But now, he knew for sure that Chi Yao and their baby were the most important people in his life—even more important than himself.
Chi Yao turned around and called for the wedding rings—new rings with a different meaning than before.
After placing the rings on each other’s fingers, Chi Yao embraced Fu Rong, and they kissed in front of everyone’s gaze.
This kiss was different from before. It signified that from this day on, they weren’t just two unrelated people; they were partners.
Although there were no marriage documents or legal guarantees, true love didn’t need the law to define it.
Their hearts were enough to guarantee their commitment.
Chi Yao looked at Fu Rong and, for the first time, said, “Fu Rong, I love you.”
Fu Rong hesitated for a moment before smiling, “I love you too, Chi Yao.”
The guests applauded and congratulated them on their union.
Some single people in the crowd, men and women alike, were so moved by their sincere love that even those who hadn’t believed in love before suddenly felt the desire to find someone and experience a love that lasts forever.
They served tea to their parents and family members, and Fu Rong’s parents each gave Chi Yao a large gift. Now that things had come to this, it was settled; even if others might talk, they knew better than to do so to their faces.
Fu Rong’s mother had a feeling about Chi Yao’s role in raising the child. Although she hadn’t confirmed it, she knew he must have sacrificed a lot. With motherly empathy, she told her son that he must treat Chi Yao well—otherwise, he’d have to face her wrath.
Fu Rong laughed, noting that even though his mother hadn’t liked Chi Yao much at first, she was now completely on his side.
“You won’t need to do anything, Mom; Chi Yao can stand up for himself,” Fu Rong said with a grin. Chi Yao wasn’t one to let himself be wronged.
With everyone’s blessings, the wedding concluded, and they sat down to eat. The Baby had been watching his two dads get married the whole time, even if he didn’t fully understand what it meant. Seeing his dads so happy made him happy too, staying wide awake without a nap.
During the meal, the Baby sat between his two dads. Someone brought over a baby chair, and he joined in, eating alongside everyone.
The baby, now almost a year old, already had several teeth and could eat on his own. But rather than eating, he seemed more interested in playing with his food, scattering rice around.
Fu Rong pulled Baby closer, helping him eat. Their tablemates noticed how naturally Fu Rong had taken on the role of a nurturing father, marveling at how love had changed him.
Shen Zhong, who had appeared earlier, left after the wedding ceremony, watching from the back of the crowd. He didn’t stay for the meal, instead sending a red envelope through someone else. Chi Yao handed it to Fu Rong, briefly explaining that he had been delayed earlier because of Shen Zhong.
Fu Rong didn’t press for details; knowing Shen Zhong had left, he trusted that Chi Yao had handled it.
He had an impression of Shen Zhong as a strong-willed man, particularly protective of his younger brother, whose mental state had suffered due to Chi Yao. Yet Shen Zhong had never acted out or done anything extreme.
Fu Rong had a theory, and with a smile and shake of his head, he opened the red envelope to find a check with a generous amount. It seemed Shen Zhong did, in his own way, wish them well.
Fu Rong set the red envelope aside, planning to save it for the Baby.
After the meal, some guests with obligations left, while others stayed to continue celebrating.
Chi Yao didn’t stay to socialize. He, the Baby, and their newly joined family returned home.
Back at their house, they were left alone to enjoy their time together.
Night fell quickly. Chi Yao had just finished showering and stood by the window in his sleepwear when Fu Rong approached him from behind, still damp from his own shower. The warmth radiating from him wrapped around Chi Yao as he embraced him, leaning down to press a gentle kiss on Chi Yao’s cheek.
“Sometimes I Really Feel Like This is a Dream,” Fu Rong Said
“It’s too happy; this happiness feels so perfect that it gives me a sense of unreality,” Fu Rong said. He even felt that maybe if he took a nap, everything would disappear.
Everything he had now—Chi Yao and the baby.
“Please don’t leave me,” Fu Rong’s voice was pleading.
Chi Yao turned around, wrapping his arms around Fu Rong’s shoulders, his eyes filled with warmth and a smile. “I won’t leave you.”
Neither he nor the baby would.
In this life, Chi Yao felt he was incredibly fortunate. How many people get a second chance? He hadn’t done many good things in his previous life, yet fate had given him another opportunity.
He was grateful for the fate that had brought him to this moment.
He truly appreciated it.
The lights were on in the room as the two embraced and kissed.
Chi Yao closed his eyes, savoring this quiet kiss after their wedding.
Was today their honeymoon?
Though they had already been intimate before, today felt especially different.
After a while, Fu Rong suddenly released Chi Yao.
Chi Yao blinked in confusion, his eyes tinged with a delicate blush, as he watched Fu Rong leave the bedroom.
‘What’s going on? He’s actually leaving?’ Chi Yao thought, stunned for a moment.
A few minutes later, Fu Rong returned, this time wearing a wedding dress.
It was the same dress he had worn during the ceremony, which he had brought home.
Chi Yao leaned against the window, looking perplexed.
Fu Rong walked over, his hands gripping Chi Yao’s body as he leaned closer, whispering in his ear, “Can you guess what I thought when I first put this outfit on?”
“What did you think?” Chi Yao wondered. Did he perhaps have a newfound love for women’s clothing?
“I thought about wearing it and then sleeping with you.”
Fu Rong slowly backed away, his eyes filled with an intense desire as he gazed at Chi Yao. At that moment, Chi Yao felt paralyzed, completely enveloped by Fu Rong’s gaze.
“I said I want to wear this outfit and sleep with you,” Fu Rong repeated.
This time Chi Yao understood clearly. He slowly lowered his eyes, looking at the voluminous train of Fu Rong’s wedding dress.
Strangely, Chi Yao felt a spark of desire ignite within him.
“Okay,” he replied with a smile, tilting his chin up in a playful challenge.
In an instant, Fu Rong swept Chi Yao off his feet, and they tumbled onto the large red wedding quilt.
The quilt was adorned with vibrant symbols of good fortune, and Fu Rong began to slowly remove Chi Yao’s sleepwear.
Chi Yao’s body lay exposed on the quilt, without a trace of cover, completely revealed to Fu Rong’s gaze.
Fu Rong’s eyes lingered on Chi Yao’s beautiful and enticing skin, feeling a deep thirst and hunger. He pressed against Chi Yao, seeking to quench his desire.
Chi Yao felt the fabric of Fu Rong’s wedding dress brushing against him, swaying gently. He glanced at the ceiling, aware that he was also swaying.
Chi Yao let out a soft laugh, but it was cut short by a kiss from Fu Rong.
As Chi Yao reached out, he could hear tearing sounds. He had ripped a good portion of Fu Rong’s wedding dress.
Tears began to form in Chi Yao’s eyes—not from sadness, but from happiness and joy.
Fu Rong wore the wedding dress until Chi Yao fell asleep. Only then did he remove the dress and change back into his sleepwear, which had become stained with their essence.
However, those stains were something Fu Rong cherished.
After tidying up a bit, he walked to the window and opened it slightly. Looking out at the dark night sky, he turned off the light and crawled back into bed beside Chi Yao, who seemed to be half-asleep, leaning closer to Fu Rong.
Fu Rong held Chi Yao tightly; from now on, they were truly a family.
The next morning, when Chi Yao woke up and saw Fu Rong still asleep, he felt a playful urge. He pinched Fu Rong’s nose, and when Fu Rong struggled to breathe, he opened his eyes to find Chi Yao grinning at him, which made him pull Chi Yao into his embrace.
Then, with a gentle slide, Fu Rong’s thick and long member went inside Chi Yao’s hot and warm rear.
The housekeeper had prepared breakfast and knocked on the door, but when no one answered, she turned to leave.
Inside the room, Chi Yao covered his mouth, tears welling up in his eyes as he stared at Fu Rong.
However, Fu Rong’s movements caused Chi Yao to lose his voice and gasp with his broken moans.
After some playful and steamy interactions, when they finally left the room and went downstairs, The baby was already awake and had been playing for a while.
Initially, The Baby wanted to go find his dads, but the nanny stopped him, saying they had stayed up late the night before and were still sleeping, so he shouldn’t disturb them.
Chi Yan was now capable of understanding quite a bit; he sniffled and continued playing in the living room.
Upon hearing footsteps, the Baby stood up and staggered over, directly launching himself into Chi Yao’s arms.
Chi Yao wasn’t steady and stumbled slightly, but Fu Rong caught both him and the Baby from behind.
Fu Rong lifted Chi Yao, placing him on the sofa, and then turned to see the Baby wobbling over. He squatted down and lifted him high into the air.
“Waaah!” Chi Yan squealed joyfully, flailing his arms and legs in excitement.
Chi Yao kicked Fu Rong’s calf, reminding him to be careful.
Fu Rong set the Baby down onto his lap and spent some time bonding with him.
Breakfast was warming up, and the couple went over to eat.
After getting married, Fu Rong planned to go on a honeymoon trip for half a month. He had already taken care of everything at work, and any remaining tasks could be handled during their travels without causing issues.
He had made plans for their destination in advance, and all Chi Yao and their son had to do was follow along.
Chi Yao was aware of the travel plans, and he indeed hadn’t had a proper outing in a long time.
This time, they brought the baby; the three of them were a family.
