Wearing the thong didn’t have much use.
He felt down and disheartened.
He didn’t want to see his roommate and the mixed-race handsome guy in their passionate moments.
So, he made an excuse, left the bar and found a convenience store.
He bought himself a cup of instant noodles.
Sitting on a tall stool at the store, he slurped down the noodles.
While eating, he wiped his mouth and blankly stared at the people coming and going on the street.
Couples walked by, one after another.
It was really lonely and cold.
His roommate, that jerk, was living such a rich life.
Why did he have to make him a single dog?!

After finishing the noodles, he silently gnawed on a Snickers bar.
Chocolate covered his mouth as he chewed.
While zoning out and watching couples show off their affection, someone suddenly gave the back of his head a hard rub.
Surprised, he covered his head and turned around.
It was his roommate who was panting and looked clearly angry: “Where the hell have you been?”
“Uh?”
“I thought you were…”
“What… what’s wrong?”
“Forget it, it’s nothing!”
His roommate stuffed his hands into his pockets and turned to walk away.
This small gesture showed that he was angry.
Although he was still a bit dazed, the young handsome guy quickly reacted and jumped up to follow his roommate.
“Where are you going?” He tugged at his roommate’s hoodie.
“Going back!”
“Uh, are you not going to…?”
“Shut up.”
“Oh.”
“…”
“That mixed-race guy…”
His roommate frowned and turned to look at him, extending his hand.
The young handsome guy nervously flinched back, thinking his roommate was finally going to hit him.
But he only reached out to rub his hand over the young handsome guy’s mouth. “You’ve got chocolate all over.”
The young handsome guy covered his mouth and mumbled, “You could have just told me, no need to resort to that.”

Hearing this, his roommate snatched the Snickers bar from his hand.
Looking at the small piece left, he scoffed and stuffed it into his own mouth. “You come out hunting for love but hide away eating chocolate? You’ll end up like a little snail that can’t get married.”
The young handsome guy silently wiped his mouth. “I’m just replenishing my energy to keep fighting.”
Once they got in the car, his roommate lit a cigarette, taking a drag as he started the engine.
Even the way he drove was cool and smooth.
The young handsome guy propped his chin and admired the scene.
He noticed that his roommate had just eaten his Snickers bar, and he had a bit of chocolate on the corner of his mouth as well.
He couldn’t help but chuckle as he reached out to wipe it away. “You’re calling me out, but you’re no better.”
But when he lowered his hand, he realized his roommate’s expression was a bit off.
He seemed a little flustered and even a bit shy.
His roommate awkwardly called out, “I know, I just didn’t have time to wipe it.”
The handsome guy glanced at his roommate’s earlobe, which had turned a shade of pink.
Suddenly, he was completely charmed.

The young handsome guy was an honest boy and hadn’t been in love for so long.
He really couldn’t hold back.
In a moment of impulse, he confessed his feelings.
Now he regretted it immensely.
He curled up in his blanket, watching his roommate’s sleeping face, peaceful and content.
He silently reached out his hand, wishing he could pinch his roommate’s cheek.
“Not replying to my texts, acting dead in response to my confession, and still daring to sleep beside me.”
His hand hovered in the air for a long time, but in the end, he let it drop.
After all, he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

The next morning, the young handsome guy was bustling around the kitchen, making breakfast.
His roommate stumbled in with messy hair, barely able to open his eyes, and felt his way to the kitchen.
The young handsome guy added the sliced ginger into the porridge.
As he turned around, he opened the fridge, took out some milk, and thoughtfully tore the opening before handing it to his roommate, who was still fumbling around on the fridge door.
His roommate gulped down half the milk, finally coming back to life.
He pried his eyes open just enough to say, “Someone stole my phone. Can you come with me to buy a new one today?”
The young handsome guy was tasting the porridge for saltiness when he heard the word “phone.” He was so startled that the spoon in his hand clattered loudly into the pot.
Hot porridge splashed all over him.
His roommate, wide-eyed with shock, quickly rushed over to pull the young handsome guy away from the stove.
Seeing the dazed expression on his face which had turned red from the splashes, his roommate couldn’t help but exclaim, “Damn!”
