Speaking with Facts
Ye Mo led her team to District 4, but the situation here was completely different from District 3. In District 3, the garbage planet had shifted on its own, which is how Ye Mo noticed something was off. However, in District 4, there was no such change with the planets.
Upon arriving, Ye Mo didn’t immediately start the rescue efforts. Mo Mo was considering setting up an array in District 4, while Ye Mo was pondering whether they could perform another large planetary shift like they did in District 3.
Unlike the people in District 3, the residents of District 4 weren’t acting as badly. In fact, some of them even started offering suggestions.
“Since there’s no shifting planet in District 4, should we try a different approach?”
“Try a different approach? It’s easy to talk about, but difficult to execute.”
“Can we use those small spheres like planets? I noticed that the ones in General Mo’s hands looked quite powerful!”
“Yeah, I also think those small spheres are incredible. The light they emit is so dazzling; they could easily be used as suns.”
“Stop dreaming. The sun has been far from us for a very long time.”
“Speaking of which, other than District 1, how long has it been since the other districts have seen sunlight?”
“If we had the sun, we wouldn’t need artificial oxygen anymore.”
“Well!”
“To be honest, I feel like the artificial sun doesn’t give off as good light as that small sphere.”
“Have you ever experienced it?”
“Of course, I have! I’m from the garbage planet in District 3. I got to feel the sun’s closest proximity—it was truly warm!”
“I also felt that warm light. I believe it really was sunlight.”
“The artificial sun we see every day—that’s sunlight too!”
“If it’s not generating oxygen, how can you call it sunlight?”
“Are there any plants? Without plants, how can photosynthesis take place?”
“Be grateful for artificial oxygen. We’ve survived until now, haven’t we?” By this point in the interstellar era, the human body had evolved, and oxygen was no longer as essential as it once was.
Even so, every planet in the galaxy had numerous devices to generate oxygen, and many of these relied heavily on sunlight. Artificial sunlight played a crucial role in that regard.
Solar energy was also a major power source. Even artificial sunlight could generate solar power.
At this moment, Ye Mo was busy studying how to balance the planets in District 4 when trouble began brewing in District 3, instigated by the wife of the District 3 star lord.
“What’s going on? Speaking of artificial suns, why don’t we have one in District 3?” When the star lord’s wife asked this, she clearly wasn’t thinking straight. When the general of District 3 detonated two planets, the proximity of those planets to the artificial sun caused it to be destroyed as well.
“How could you not know why there’s no artificial sun?”
“What would I know? I only know that after the general’s wife intervened, we no longer had an artificial sun. Shouldn’t she compensate us for it?”
“Have some decency! Are you seriously trying to pin this on the general’s wife? The mess made by the District 3’s general has been cleaned up by her for quite some time. You ought to know when to stop.”
“Who’s saying this? Seems like someone using an anonymous account.”
“Haha, regular people can’t have anonymous accounts. I checked the ID—it’s the wife of the third main planet star lord.”
“I suspected it was her. Who else could speak with such passive aggression?”
“I’m from the garbage planet in District 3. On behalf of all residents, we sincerely thank the general’s wife for everything she’s done. We’re genuinely grateful. Our planet is now more liveable than ever.”
“Yeah, I also think the garbage planet is much more suitable for humans now. I no longer want to move to another planet.”
“You’d better get out of the garbage planet while you still can, or you’ll regret it!”
“Here she goes again—the star lord’s wife using her anonymous account. What does she mean by that?”
“What does she mean? Looks like she’s planning to target the general’s wife again!”
“Is she planning to lure them back to District 3 and launch a surprise attack? But what’s left in District 3 to attack with?”
Everyone thought this speculation was nonsense!
District 3 was just starting to recover and rebuild. They should be focused on reconstruction, not on causing more trouble.
Yet, Ye Mo received a warning from her butler, who had noticed the speculation. Some people were guessing that the wife of the star lord of the third main planet was planning to detonate another planet, with the target likely being the garbage planet. Otherwise, why would she warn people to leave before it was too late?
Ye Mo narrowed her eyes. Every planet in the galaxy had a detonation device, but such devices were only meant to be used as a last resort. However, with the recent actions of the District Three and Four generals, these devices became more of a threat to the galaxy.
Ye Mo discreetly sent several interstellar warriors back to District 3 with one mission: dismantle the detonation devices.
Frankly, both Ye Mo and Mo Mo, along with the other interstellar warriors participating in the rescue, were fed up with these detonation devices.
Ye Mo had already identified where the devices were located.
Once the warriors arrived, they went straight to the garbage planet and dismantled the device there. As for the other planets, Ye Mo doubted the star lord’s wife would be crazy enough to detonate them.
Ye Mo found it odd that the star lord’s wife even knew about the detonation devices in the first place. How could she have that information?
As Ye Mo furrowed her brow, the star lord’s wife switched to her main account and publicly challenged Ye Mo.
“Ye Mo, are you too scared to face me? I’m the wife of the star lord of the third main planet in District 3. You took away our artificial sun, and now you must give us a new one.” The star lord’s wife directly puts the blame on Ye Mo.
Without wasting any time, Ye Mo went public with the footage that revealed the truth. It showed the two generals from Districts 3 and 4 detonating the two planets, which also took out the artificial sun. This had absolutely nothing to do with Ye Mo.
“I’m speaking with facts. Not even a star lord’s wife can make baseless claims. Some things need to be addressed with evidence. Let me be clear: I’m done with District 3. After everything I’ve seen there, I’ve witnessed too much darkness. I don’t want to go through that again!” Ye Mo posted her statement publicly, making it clear that she had no intention of ever returning to District 3.
