Aunt Yu’s Current Boyfriend, Part 2

“I’m her current boyfriend, Jiu Yue. What, do you want to reason with me?” Jiu Yue said as he flexed his wrists. He had been itching to punch this guy ever since he saw him pestering Aunt Yu, but Aunt Yu signalled him with her eyes and didn’t let him intervene.

Fang Dawei, staring at this young and handsome guy, then at Aunt Yu, was baffled. When did she become so young and beautiful again? Wasn’t she the worn-out woman in his house, worn down by the years? How was she now in such great shape?

Fang Dawei, who had been standing close to Aunt Yu, instinctively took a few steps back. When did she become this radiant? She now looked like a goddess, far beyond his reach.

As Aunt Yu and Jiu Yue left hand in hand, regret swelled in Fang Dawei’s heart. What had he been thinking back then? How could he have lost such a good wife and ended up with his current, wicked one?

As it turns out, Fang Dawei was remarried now…

Lucky for him, Aunt Yu didn’t know this yet. If she did, she would surely have spat in his face. How dare he, married to another woman, still beg for reconciliation with her? Hmph, she’s much happier with her “young man,” thank you very much!

Though, in Aunt Yu’s eyes, Jiu Yue was just like a kid. Still, this “kid” truly cared for her and treated her with tenderness.

At this moment, a girl approached Fang Dawei. “Hey, Uncle Dawei, what’s wrong?”

“Zhang Yu’er? What are you doing here?”

“I’m just out for a stroll! But what happened to you?”

“Nothing much, just ran into my ex-wife,” Fang Dawei muttered, not really in the mood to talk. After all, his current wife was Zhang Yu’er’s aunt.

Zhang Yu’er’s eyes brightened immediately. “Oh, you mean Yu He’s aunt, right? I’m going to find her. I need to ask where Yu He took my brother.”

This Zhang Yu’er was none other than the sister of Zhang Yu Ming, Yu He’s former fiancé.

Zhang Yu Ming had been taken away from prison by Yu He, and the Zhang family had no idea where he was. They’d been searching for him this whole time.

Zhang Yu’er sprinted in the direction Fang Dawei had pointed, quickly catching up to Aunt Yu and Jiu Yue. However, when she saw Jiu Yue, she froze in place, completely stunned by his appearance.

“Get lost!” Jiu Yue barked fiercely, clearly disgusted by her gaze.

Terrified by his shout, Zhang Yu’er snapped out of her daze and finally noticed Aunt Yu. She had met Aunt Yu before, but now… how did she become so stunningly beautiful? Even more beautiful than her!

Jealousy flared in Zhang Yu’er’s eyes.

Recognizing Zhang Yu’er, Aunt Yu spoke coldly, “Move aside, you’re blocking our way.”

Zhang Yu’er snapped back to reality. “Aunt Yu, I wanted to ask, where did Yu He take my brother?”

Aunt Yu sneered. Although Zhang Yu Ming had jumped into space with a decoy robot, she still hadn’t forgiven him. If Mo Mo hadn’t used the decoy, Zhang Yu Ming would have dragged her niece directly into space!

Unforgivable. Absolutely unforgivable!

With a cold expression, Aunt Yu said, “Yu He has already left for District One. I don’t know the details.”

Though the incident of Zhang Yu Ming dragging someone into space had been covered up, many still knew about it. The news would spread eventually.

Aunt Yu, however, couldn’t care less. If the Zhang family wanted trouble, they should go find Yu He, not her.

Zhang Yu’er was stunned. To be honest, she hadn’t been keeping up with the news because she was too busy looking for a job. After all, her future depended on it.

But now, Aunt Yu had caught her attention. Even she, in her naïveté, knew Aunt Yu held a high status. If Aunt Yu helped her, wouldn’t her future be bright?

Before Zhang Yu’er could gather her thoughts, though, Aunt Yu and Jiu Yue had already disappeared.

They had noticed her calculating gaze and swiftly took off in their flying vehicle.

Jiu Yue asked, “Jia Jia, is that girl Zhang Yu Ming’s sister?”

“Yes,” Aunt Yu confirmed.

“How blind must Zhang Yu Ming be to choose Yu He over a general’s wife?” Jiu Yue scoffed, genuinely baffled. The two women didn’t even compare in looks—he was convinced Zhang Yu Ming had to be blind.

Aunt Yu burst into laughter at his comment. “You’re absolutely right, Zhang Yu Ming is blind. What should we do next?”

Jiu Yue’s eyes lit up instantly. “Jia Jia, let’s go get our marriage certificate!”

“Now?” Aunt Yu asked.

“Yes, and when we return to the Planet Elf, we’ll hold a wedding ceremony,” Jiu Yue said with a smile.

“Alright!” Aunt Yu agreed. She couldn’t care less about having a ceremony here in District Eight.

The two of them went to register their marriage. When Ye Mo received the news, she was utterly stunned. She hadn’t expected her aunt to be so serious. She had asked about Jiu Yue’s age before because her aunt often mentioned the “kid.” Jiu Yue was only 21 (I remember when Jiu Yue was introduced before, his age was written by the author as almost 30 years old but now I don’t know what’s wrong 😅), while Aunt Yu was already 35.

Yet, they had really ended up together.

Nevertheless, Ye Mo wholeheartedly blessed her aunt’s union. She even sent her aunt and new uncle a pair of rings—storage rings with a lot of space inside.

When Aunt Yu received the rings, she was thrilled. She knew her niece never sent anything less than the best. To her surprise, the rings had enough space to hold the equivalent of three football fields. Jiu Yue couldn’t put the ring down.

Jiu Yue had also prepared a pile of gifts for Ye Mo and her six children. As for General Mo… Jiu Yue didn’t dare prepare anything for him.

Aunt Yu, however, had prepared matching family outfits for all eight members of Ye Mo’s family. With how attractive they all were, stepping out in coordinated outfits would certainly turn heads.

When Aunt Yu’s gifts arrived, Ye Mo was overjoyed. She had been meaning to make family outfits herself but hadn’t gotten around to it. Now, her aunt had already sent them.

Ye Mo was quite at ease around her new uncle, but Jiu Yue couldn’t help feeling a little awkward. After all, Ye Mo was a general’s wife, and he had never imagined he’d one day become the general’s uncle-in-law. This matter caused a lot of trouble…

Upon their return to Planet Elf, the residents were shocked but not surprised. They had long sensed the chemistry between Jiu Yue and Aunt Yu but hadn’t expected Jiu Yue to have the guts to become the general’s uncle-in-law.

One by one, people clapped Jiu Yue on the shoulder, amazed at how this once ordinary soldier had managed to rise above them all.

Some couldn’t help but wonder why they hadn’t thought to pursue Aunt Yu themselves. If they had, would they also be the general’s uncle-in-law by now?

They sighed, feeling a tinge of regret. If only they had acted sooner. They had missed their opportunity to become the general’s uncle-in-law.
