Chapter 2 Initial Conflict
There was no way she could silence him. The original owner’s small body, if she really faced him, could be delivered as a dish in a minute.
Although she hadn’t seen the other person’s skills, anyone who dared to appear in this wild and remote place wouldn’t be an ordinary person.
She didn’t know how much the other person had seen.
Thinking of this hidden big bomb, Qin Ruo was extremely annoyed.
After leaving the forest, she went straight down the mountain.
On the way down the mountain, she saw the original owner’s scattered backpack and a fish spear in the grass by the roadside.
Qin Ruo bent down and picked them up.
After picking them up, she realized that this was the original owner’s instinctive reaction.
Qin Ruo was immediately speechless.
The information about the original owner she had received in the forest was not very pleasant.
The Qin family was a pit, a huge pit.
It was not an exaggeration to call it a bottomless pit.
She didn’t want to have any deep involvement with this family.
All Qin Ruo could think about now was how to return to her own world.
Although she was disgusted, she still put on the backpack, picked up the fish spear, and walked down the mountain.
After all, she was already here.
For the time being, she couldn’t leave.
When Qin Ruo reached the location of the pond at the foot of the mountain, a boy of about ten years old ran towards her, his eyes red and stumbling.
Seeing the terrible bloodstains on Qin Ruo’s face, tears immediately fell from his eyes.
He didn’t care, he cried and threw himself on Qin Ruo, his voice trembling slightly.
“Sister… Sister… Blood, blood, what happened to you?”
“Sister…”
“Shut up, you’re so noisy! Your tears and snot are all over me, get away.”
Qin Ruo glanced at the young boy with tears all over his face and coldly shouted impatiently.
This young boy in front of her was the original owner’s younger brother, Qin Zimu.
After breakfast today, Qin Zimu followed the original owner, Qin Qiuxi, into the mountains.
Qin Qiuxi’s main purpose was to fish in the pond at the foot of the mountain. After reaching the foot of the mountain, Qin Qiuxi went up the mountain first to check the traps for catching wild animals.
This led to Qin Ruo’s transmigration.
Qin Zimu was responsible for digging wild vegetables near the pond. They agreed to meet at the pond later.
He had dug up the wild vegetables and waited by the pond for a long time, but he didn’t see Qin Qiuxi.
Just when he was anxious, he heard a few wolf howls coming from Humpback Mountain.
Qin Zimu immediately rushed up the mountain, and he met Qin Ruo who was coming down the mountain.
“What are you standing there for? Are you going or not?” Qin Ruo hadn’t calmed down from her transmigration, and her mood was very bad.
A gust of wind blew, and Qin Ruo sneezed several times.
“Oh, oh, okay, okay.” Qin Zimu reacted and quickly let go of Qin Ruo.
Then, he hurriedly untied the gray and shabby thin outer garment on his body, wanting to put it on Qin Ruo.
“Put it on! Who wants your clothes, they’re dirty!”
Seeing Qin Zimu, who was originally wearing thin clothes, shiver with cold after taking off his outer garment, his face flushed red.
Qin Ruo frowned, her face full of annoyance.
Qin Ruo was indifferent by nature, and she felt particularly awkward about the concern of this suddenly appearing “brother”.
Qin Zimu looked at Qin Ruo’s cold eyes, as if he was used to it.
He smiled ingratiatingly at Qin Ruo and obediently put the clothes back on himself.
The original owner was quiet and didn’t like to talk. She preferred to be alone.
Qin Zimu had a stutter and wasn’t close to the original owner.
Over the years, Qin Zimu had gotten used to the original owner’s personality and hadn’t noticed that Qin Qiuxi had already been replaced by someone else.
“I’m not cold, you should take care of yourself first. Don’t cause me any trouble! Let’s go home.”
Qin Ruo, who had recovered some strength, looked at the awkward teenager standing aside and couldn’t bear it.
Although her words were still unpleasant, her tone was obviously not as cold as before.
Sister’s words, it seems like she’s caring about me?
“Okay, okay.” Qin Zimu, who had been dejected just now, instantly brightened up, his lips slightly curled, and his steps became lighter.
Qin Zimu carried the backpack filled with wild vegetables and silently followed behind Qin Ruo.
Qin Ruo didn’t go back immediately. She went to the edge of the pond, squatted down, and washed her face with the cold water.
She looked at the thin, unfamiliar reflection in the water, and her mood became agitated again.
Qin Zimu stood behind Qin Ruo and saw the blood seeping through the cloth on Qin Ruo’s head, and he panicked again.
“Sister, hurry, hurry, go back and find a doctor… find a doctor.”
Qin Zimu was so anxious that he stuttered even more.
He even forgot Qin Ruo’s attitude towards him earlier, grabbed Qin Ruo’s hand, and was about to rush down the mountain.
“It’s okay, I just bumped my head.” Qin Ruo casually waved her hand at Qin Zimu.
She sat down on the spot and directed Qin Zimu to pick the stone fern growing in the crevices of the rocks by the pond.
Stone fern is very similar to the large-leaf orchid. Crushing the leaves can stop bleeding.
Actually, for the Qin Ruo of the previous life, such an injury was a piece of cake.
She had plenty of good medicine in her space, but seeing the anxiety and worry in Qin Zimu’s eyes, Qin Ruo couldn’t bear to refuse him.
Besides, even if the bleeding stopped, it was necessary to pretend.
Qin Zimu had seen people in the village get injured and either go to the doctor or use charcoal dust to stop the bleeding.
This wild grass is everywhere, and he hadn’t heard of it being able to stop bleeding before.
But he still obediently picked the things Qin Ruo said, carefully putting them into the backpack.
Qin Zimu ran back and forth several times.
What a fool! Is he afraid that there isn’t enough medicine?
Looking at the boy with frostbite on his hands, holding a large bunch of stone fern in front of her, Qin Ruo felt complicated.
On the way back, Qin Ruo asked Qin Zimu to pick some other herbs.
Although Qin Zimu was puzzled, he didn’t dare to ask any questions and did as he was told.
About two quarters of an hour later, Qin Ruo and Qin Zimu returned to the Qin family in Changhe Village.
Qin Ruo stopped and stood outside the courtyard, looking around at the Qin family’s house.
In front of her were two low houses, surrounded by a bamboo fence that had collapsed halfway.
“Sister, it’s cold outside. Come in quickly.” Qin Zimu saw Qin Ruo standing still and hurriedly urged her.
Hearing the noise outside, a boy about fourteen or fifteen years old quickly walked out of the house.
The boy didn’t even look at Qin Ruo and Qin Zimu, and he started to rummage through the backpack behind Qin Zimu.
“Brother…” Qin Zimu called out to the person in front of him timidly.
“Where’s the fish? You’ve been out for half a day, and you’ve come back empty-handed?”
Seeing the empty backpack except for a bunch of wild vegetables and herbs, Qin Zian’s face immediately turned black.
He angrily grabbed the wild vegetables and herbs in the backpack and threw them all on the ground.
“Pick them up!” Qin Ruo looked coldly at Qin Zian, who was wearing a thick blue cotton robe, new cotton shoes, and a gloomy expression.
Remembering the past events in the original owner’s memory, her anger flared up.
The original owner was a hard-working little bun, she had no obligation to indulge this person.
