Lu Qingyun’s second aunt and Lin Xuxu were so scared that their faces turned pale, and they involuntarily took a few steps back.

With Lu Qingyun’s second aunt and Lin Xuxu gone, only Lu Qingyun and Ling Yao remained.

Lu Qingyun walked over and put his arms around Ling Yao, “Yaoyao, I will never let something like this happen again.”

Ling Yao leaned against Lu Qingyun’s broad chest, listening to his strong heartbeat, feeling a sense of peace.

She smiled and nodded. She believed in Lu Qingyun, and she believed that they could build a good marriage.
