Chapter 11: I’m a Clean Freak, I Hate Dirt
“Enough!” Father Luo’s face was cold and stern. “You come back home and create chaos. Regardless of what happened between Lu Yan and Xianxian, you’ve lost face for our Luo family. That’s your fault.”
Disappointment, once accumulated enough, would no longer feel like a cold heart.
That was probably how Luo Qianyun felt at this moment.
Meanwhile, Pei Xianxian received a call from her manager. After hanging up, she opened Weibo, and tears streamed down her face like they were free.
Then, she walked up to Luo Qianyun, “Qianyun, I know you hate me, hate me for coming back and taking your place as the eldest daughter of the Luo family. But you should also know that I love acting, and I got into university on my own merit, it has nothing to do with my parents. Why did you ruin my career…”
As Pei Xianxian spoke, Lu Yan and the others also opened Weibo and saw the trending topic about Pei Xianxian.
Song Yunjing’s Weibo post had directly exposed their affair to the public.
Pei Xianxian was right; when she was found by the Luo family, she was already a freshman in the acting department of A University. She did get into university on her own merit.
But getting into university was only the first step. How could she be filming in her sophomore year, be the lead in her junior year, and win awards right after graduation? None of it was unrelated to the Luo family.
To say that her career had nothing to do with the Luo family was simply a lie.
So hearing her words and seeing her tears, Luo Qianyun didn’t feel any sympathy. Of course, the others found it quite pitiful.
“Xianxian, don’t be afraid, your dad and I will handle this.” Mother Luo comforted Pei Xianxian, then turned to Luo Qianyun and ordered, “Quickly post a clarification on Weibo, saying that Xianxian has nothing to do with Lu Yan, and it’s all your jealousy, you’re deliberately smearing Xianxian.”
“Whether it’s smearing or not, everyone with eyes can see. Your explanation is even more watery than the water army, so watery that everyone knows it’s a lie.” Song Yunjing commented from the side.
Mother Luo’s face flushed red. She was indeed just looking for an excuse. Immediately, she looked at Song Yunjing coldly, “This is our Luo family’s business, Yunjing, don’t speak.”
Song Yunjing was about to retort, but Luo Qianyun pressed her hand, signaling her not to speak. Song Yunjing could only temporarily shut up.
“Mom, you care about Pei Xianxian’s reputation, but don’t you care about mine? If I really post a clarification on Weibo, wouldn’t that be slapping myself in the face? Then, will anyone believe what I say in the future?” Luo Qianyun’s voice was soft, her eyes carrying a faint coldness.
“You’re different from Xianxian.” Mother Luo said.
Luo Qianyun: “How are we different?”
Mother Luo thought for a moment, “Xianxian is an artist, she relies on her reputation to make a living. You’re just a doctor, people only look at your medical skills, who cares about your reputation?”
“That’s not necessarily true, if my reputation is ruined, at the very least, it means no promotion, and at worst, I’ll be the first to be fired.” Luo Qianyun said.
Father Luo impatiently said from the side, “If you just mind your own business, who would fire you without reason?”
“But I mind my own business, and someone still steals my boyfriend? I mind my own business, and someone still wants to kill me? I mind my own business, and you guys still make me take the blame for something I didn’t do?” Luo Qianyun said calmly.
She raised her eyes to look at them, “So, does it matter if I mind my own business?”
“In the end, isn’t it all because of the fact that we abandoned you in the wilderness?” Lu Yan frowned, annoyed, “Fine, we’ll apologize to you, okay?”
“Apologize to me, you’re really so wronged.” Luo Qianyun said.
“You know it’s good, it was a small matter, why did you have to make a big fuss about it? You’re making such a fuss, my parents won’t like it.” Lu Yan said.
Luo Qianyun snorted, “Those are your parents, it’s none of my business whether they like it or not. I forgot to tell you, we’ve broken up, don’t pester me anymore.”
Hearing Luo Qianyun’s words, Pei Xianxian’s eyes lit up, but she quickly suppressed her emotions, “Qianyun, if it’s because of me and A Yan… there’s really no need.”
“It doesn’t have much to do with you, mainly because I’m a clean freak, I hate dirt.” Luo Qianyun said.
“I haven’t even complained about how many people you’ve slept with these past few days, and you’re complaining about me?” Lu Yan said, walking towards Luo Qianyun.
As if sensing that Lu Yan’s approach wasn’t good, Luo Qi, who had been standing there for a long time, suddenly stood in front of Luo Qianyun, his hands on his hips, blocking Lu Yan, “You, what are you doing? If you dare hit Qianyun, I, I’ll hit you.”
Seeing Luo Qi waving his fists as if playing, Luo Qianyun’s heart, which had been cold, warmed a little, “Brother, he’s sick, stay away from him.”
“Luo Qianyun, you!” Lu Yan immediately flew into a rage.
“What’s what, what kind of good man cheats? You’re cheating and you still have the nerve to argue?” Luo Qianyun said with a mocking look.
At that moment, Lu Yan felt a surge of fire that overwhelmed his reason, “If you weren’t acting like a chaste woman all the time, would I have slept with her? I’m a normal man, what normal man can’t touch his girlfriend? You Luo Qianyun are so precious, right?”
“You’re still arguing about cheating?” Song Yunjing couldn’t take it anymore. She wasn’t someone with a good temper to begin with, at this moment, she was like a cheetah attacking, charging directly at Lu Yan.
Song Yunjing went up and slapped him, then beat him up in three moves.
As a best friend, Luo Qianyun knew very well that Song Yunjing had been practicing boxing since she was a child. Lu Yan, this punching bag, was only destined to be played with in her hands.
Pei Xianxian was also startled, she hadn’t expected Song Yunjing to hit people without hesitation, not caring about the image of a rich heiress.
But when she realized what was happening, she quickly shouted, “Stop it, stop it.”
But as soon as she got close, Song Yunjing seemed to accidentally punch her in the chest.
She had just padded it up a while ago, and now Pei Xianxian was in pain and cried.
When the bodyguards came over, Song Yunjing didn’t care, she swaggered and stood behind Luo Qianyun, “I haven’t practiced in a few days, my strength isn’t as good as before.”
She had beaten Lu Yan in front of the Luo family, and Father and Mother Luo’s faces were both ugly.
But Pei Xianxian was most concerned about her career.
Immediately, she grabbed Mother Luo’s hand, her voice filled with pain, “Mom, the Weibo post…”
Mother Luo also reacted, “Right, Weibo…”
“Delete your Weibo post first, then we’ll think about what to do.” Mother Luo looked at Luo Qianyun and said.
“Do I need to remind you that I was the one who posted it? What are you discussing with Qianyun?” Song Yunjing laughed.
Father Luo impatiently looked at Luo Qianyun, “Just say what you want, just think of our Luo family as raising a white-eyed wolf, don’t expect you to think about the Luo family anymore.”
Luo Qianyun’s heart sank a little, and she lost interest in continuing to argue with them, “It’s simple, apologize publicly. Pei Xianxian and Lu Yan almost killed me, a simple apology isn’t too much to ask, right?”
“We can apologize to you in person, there’s no need to make a fuss online, right? After all, this matter didn’t damage your reputation.” Pei Xianxian said.
“That won’t do, I’m just an ordinary doctor, but you’re a star with hundreds of thousands of fans. If you don’t apologize publicly and settle this matter, who knows when you’ll stab me in the back? You have so many fans, I’m so scared…”
