It’s summer again.

It has also been two months since Xu Lianqiao and Ning Yuan tied the knot.

“Brother Ning, let’s consummate our marriage tonight.”

Though they were in love and their relationship was legitimate, because of her fear, it had been a month, and they still weren’t a real couple.

Ning Yuan noticed that she was drunk and held her in his arms.

“Ah Qiao, are you sure? Aren’t you scared?” His voice was a bit hoarse, and he didn’t understand why.

Xu Lianqiao sniffed and comforted herself: “It doesn’t seem too bad.”

“I asked, and Brother Ning didn’t lie to me. He really wants this.”

Ning Yuan was angry at her. After all, she had thought he was lying.

“I don’t think Brother Ning lied to me.”

Xu Lianqiao quickly tried to fix her mistake, “Even if I’m afraid of Brother Ning, you still don’t understand. I made a mistake.”

Ning Yuan laughed in frustration, “Then Ah Qiao believes it now?”

Xu Lianqiao nodded seriously.

“Yes, I understand.” Then she whispered in Ning Yuan’s ear, “They say a girl will be happy if she does this.”

After saying it, she felt embarrassed but still couldn’t help laughing.

“They say a man shouldn’t be soft-hearted at this time, he should grit his teeth and get it done.”

She poked Ning Yuan with her finger in a playful way.

Could Ning Yuan resist?

He picked up Xu Lianqiao and walked to the bed, ignoring her protests.

Finally, a pool of spring water slowly rippled.

In the room, Xu Lianqiao’s soft whimpers echoed through the night.

One year after their marriage, Jingcheng sent Ning Yuan a five-year-old child to adopt.

He began calling her “mother.”

When the child turned fifteen, Ning Yuan thought it was about time, so he took Xu Lianqiao on a trip.

Though they said they were traveling, in reality, Xu Lianqiao was pregnant with their first child.

Ning Yuan also began planning for their future.

He decided to give the Zhenbei Palace to the child.

The child was a good boy, and Ning Yuan had some confidence in him.

However, Ning Yuan planned to retire, which meant no one would know that he and Ah Qiao had a child.

He had thought about it. In Jiji’s future, he, Ah Qiao, and their children would live a peaceful life somewhere.
