Trying to Run Away After Marriage? Outplayed by a Sweet Wife Chapter 50

Chapter 50

Jiang Muning, feeling troubled, came to the space. She originally wanted to relax, but she saw Jiang Heng sitting under the peach tree, arms crossed, thinking about something.

Time flowed quickly in the space, and in just three days, the peach blossoms on the tree had bloomed, a sea of pink as far as the eye could see.

Jiang Muning walked over and stood under the peach tree. A gentle breeze blew, and peach blossoms fell with the wind.

Jiang Muning spread out her palm and caught a petal.

“Oh my god, it’s so late, why are you here?” Jiang Heng turned his head and saw a white figure, he was really startled.

“I can’t sleep.” Jiang Muning tore off the petal, sat cross-legged, and sat on the grass.

Seeing her lack of enthusiasm, Jiang Heng became interested and teased: “The carefree little princess, even you can’t sleep, it’s not easy.”

Jiang Muning ignored his teasing, resting her chin on her hands, staring into the distance.

Seeing her unusual behavior, Jiang Heng finally got serious: “What’s wrong? Tell your brother.”

Jiang Muning hung her head: “We were curious about who Qin Muye’s white moonlight was, right? I have a lead.”

“Who?” Jiang Heng’s eyes lit up, he asked gossipingly.

“A man.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a curse erupted: “Damn! Doesn’t that mean you were tricked into marriage?”

Seeing his excited look, Jiang Muning nodded: “I guess so, I’m a beard wife.”

“The dignified captain, he actually did something like this.” Jiang Heng put his hands on his hips and said angrily.

“His partner is even a battalion commander.”

Jiang Heng’s world view shattered, the image of soldiers being tall and mighty in his heart crumbled.

“But it doesn’t seem right, Qin Muye is such a manly man, how could he…” Jiang Heng still couldn’t connect the domineering Qin Muye with someone who likes men.

“He’s also bi.”

Thinking about how she was quite satisfied with rolling in the sheets with him, Jiang Muning covered her face, wanting to find a hole to crawl into.

Seeing her appearance, Jiang Heng patted her shoulder sympathetically: “Poor kid, I told you, with your bad luck, you’d encounter a snow avalanche when climbing a snowy mountain, how could you meet such a high-quality man, it turns out you’re a beard wife.”

“…” Jiang Muning wanted to slap him.

Seeing her depressed look, Jiang Heng sat down beside her: “What do you want to do? Should we make a big deal out of it? We can’t take this lying down.”

Although he liked to bully Jiang Muning, as her only relative, he couldn’t just watch her be bullied.

Jiang Muning thought for a moment: “Making a big deal out of it is a no-go, let’s give him some face. This afternoon, I was planning to run away, but I was caught. But I still want to run away. I heard that men doing that kind of thing easily get sick, I don’t want to be implicated.”

She didn’t want to live in a suffocating way, she wasn’t living for a man.

“Okay, tell me when, I’ll pick you up.” Jiang Heng said readily.

Jiang Muning gave him an OK sign: “Okay, then tomorrow at noon, three o’clock, wait for me at the pier.”

“Okay.”

After discussing the details of their escape, they left the space.

The next day at noon, thinking it was her last meal, Jiang Muning cooked a very sumptuous feast.

“What is this?” Qin Muye tasted the thick soup with a lot of vegetables.

“It’s sour and spicy soup.”

“Delicious.” Qin Muye gave a positive evaluation.

“If you like it, drink more.” After all, there won’t be any more opportunities, Jiang Muning added in her heart.

Qin Muye hummed in response.

Seeing that she had cooked so many dishes, Qin Muye’s hanging heart settled a little.

After lunch, Qin Muye was about to return to the army.

“If you feel bored, go chat with the sisters-in-law in the military dependents’ compound.” Qin Muye unbuttoned his sleeves and rolled them up.

“Okay.” Jiang Muning replied with a sweet smile, showing no signs of anything unusual.

Qin Muye took long strides, coming in front of her. The tall man, who was almost two meters tall, bent down, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, his voice low and mellow: “Wait for me at home.”

Being held in his arms, her nose was filled with his masculine, refreshing scent.

Jiang Muning slowly opened her arms and hugged his strong, narrow waist: “Okay.”

Feeling the warmth of the person in his arms, Qin Muye’s eyes held an undeniable tenderness, he kissed the top of her head.

He held her like that for a while, then reluctantly let go.

He took long strides, stepped over the threshold, and walked out.

Watching his figure disappear from sight, Jiang Muning finally withdrew her gaze.

Her attitude towards marriage was that it didn’t have to be about love, but there couldn’t be any deception, no betrayal or infidelity.

Making sure that Qin Muye wouldn’t come back, Jiang Muning turned around and went back to her room.

She saw the luggage bag on top of the wardrobe, her five-foot-five height wasn’t enough to reach it.

She brought over a chair, stood on it, and finally managed to get the luggage bag down.

Then, she started packing.

She didn’t bring much this time, she just wanted to take her clothes, to avoid delaying her escape.

She put all the new clothes and shoes she had bought into the luggage bag, then she went to the wardrobe to see if there was anything else she needed to take.

Just as she was taking out a piece of clothing, a black wallet unexpectedly fell to the ground.

She bent down curiously to pick it up, Jiang Muning looked at it: “His?”

She casually opened the wallet, and a youthful photo appeared in her line of sight.

It was a black and white photo, the girl in the photo had braided pigtails, she was holding a book in both hands, sitting under a tree.

Sunlight shone through the gaps in the leaves, falling on the girl’s face.

The girl looked at the camera, with a shy smile.

“Isn’t this me?” Jiang Muning looked at the youthful and innocent face in surprise, even in such a blurry photo, the face was still stunning.

To be precise, it was the original owner.

Looking closely at the black wallet, Jiang Muning knew it was Qin Muye’s.

Suddenly, Jiang Muning remembered hearing that Qin Muye kept his white moonlight’s photo in his wallet.

The photo of Jiang Muning was about thirteen or fourteen years old, the old photo was laminated, it was well-preserved, showing the owner’s care for it.

“Could it be that the original owner is Qin Muye’s white moonlight?”
