For now, the simple test of the 【Floating Orb】 is complete.
More detailed testing is still needed, but that’s not something that can be done indoors. It’ll have to wait for another day, either outside or in a dungeon.

Four tries left.
So far, I’ve gotten 【Amber Shield】 and 【Enhancement】, so I really hope for something more exciting!

“Haah…!”

I activated 【Prayer】 and 【Mira’s Blessing】.
I’m not sure if it’s effective, but since I managed to pull 【Enhancement】 earlier, I’ll keep doing it as long as it works.
I’ll also stick with the proper ritual style, kneeling and offering the coins with both hands.

…Honestly, though, this simultaneous activation style looks pretty cool.
It emits a faint glow, and as a bonus, it gives me a slight enhancement, too.

“What’s the matter?”

When I turned back toward everyone, Seriana, who was still riding the 【Small Orb】, asked if something had happened.

“Ah, it’s nothing.”

This super-cool vibe… Unfortunately, it seems lost on them.

“Alright!”

Refocusing, I challenged the gacha again as the sound of drum rolls echoed in my mind.

Drrrrolllll…

I listened to the sound for about a minute, but I couldn’t tell if it was any different from before.

“Alright, let’s do this!”

With determination, I stopped it, waiting for the letters to appear in my mind. It can’t be more than a second, but this moment always feels so long.
And the result… 【Magical Crystal】.

“…”

Catching it before it fell, I placed it on the desk.
At least it’s not as heavy as magical steel…

At this point, I’m starting to think 【Prayer】 and determination don’t actually matter.
The dramatic pause before stopping probably doesn’t either…

“Magical Crystal… It looks like we’re getting close to having enough materials for a full set of equipment.”

That’s true…
It seems like we’ll be able to cover both warrior and mage types.

“I have enough gear already, and I won’t use it, so if you want it, you can have all the materials.”

“You might end up using it someday. Just store it in the back storage room for now.”

I grabbed one of the remaining three sacred coins and faced the statue again.
This time, I decided to skip 【Prayer】 and 【Mira’s Blessing】.

“Alright!”

First, I offered the sacred coin…

“Haah!”

And as soon as the drum roll started, I stopped it immediately!
The result: 【Amber Sword】.

“Hmm…”

I caught the ring that appeared midair.
It was a delicate design, identical to the one already on my left hand.
I like the design, but… it’s not very useful.

“Is it a good pull? What is it?”

“It’s 【Amber Sword】. Same as this one.”

I showed Seriana the ring on my left hand.
She looked at it with a slightly annoyed expression.

It’s a decent pull, but it’s a duplicate…
I’m probably making the same face as her right now.

“Well, it’s not bad… But it’s not particularly useful for you, is it?”

“Exactly. Maybe Seria, Teresa, or Elena can use it?”

It’s a cool item, but honestly, I don’t use it.
Still, it’s better for one of them to have it than for it to sit unused.

“I don’t need it.”

Seriana was the first to decline.
Given her blessings, she probably has even less use for it than I do.
Alright, that leaves the other two.

“Elena should take it. She often accompanies the mistress to evening parties, and 【Amber Sword】 is well-known. It would likely be allowed as a self-defense measure.”

That makes sense…
【Amber Sword】 can deal damage but isn’t lethal, and it’s not very effective against heavily armored opponents.
It’s generally frowned upon to enter noble estates while armed, but if it’s recognized as a defensive, non-lethal item, it shouldn’t be an issue.

“Understood. I’ll take it then. Is that okay, Seria?”

“Sure. Seriana, hold onto it for now.”

Since it’ll eventually need to be unlocked, I handed it to Seriana.

“Fine… I’ll bestow it upon you later.”

“Sure, sure.”

While it’s a duplicate and not useful for me, it has its uses, so I suppose it’s fine.

Now, two tries left.
The cool items I’ve pulled so far are great, but none of them are things I can make good use of…

With a swift motion, I spun the gacha and stopped it…

“Is it a blessing?”

“Seems like it.”

Hearing my mutter, Seriana and Fiora responded.
Just as they said, it’s a blessing.
And it looks pretty stylish!

“It’s 【Wind Cloak】.”

That’s the same kind of blessing as Kiara, Luban’s lawful wife, who possesses the 【Mist Cloak】—a blessing that gives off a cool, misty vibe.
This one seems to protect with wind, judging by the name.

“Congratulations. It’s a defensive blessing.”

Fiora chimed in.
Does she know something about it?

“You know this one?”

“Yes. There’s a mage in the royal capital who has it. It surrounds the user with wind, protecting them from arrows and debris. Its direct defensive power may not surpass 【Amber Shield】, but since it can remain active, it’s more suitable for you.”

“Oooh!”

Looks like my guess was right!
